This plant produces lots of very sticky buds. The photos don’t do it any justice This strain has been impressive to say the least Lots of flowers that are starting to fill up and look like actual buds :) Otherwise the humidity is around 55-64 which is high but I currently don’t have a dehumidifier but I must get one for the room.

Week 8 of flowering, Biscotti mints 2 looks more close to the end than Biscotti mints 1. Both very frosty, smelling really good. It’s been 1 week since I flushed them 😍 Looking at the trichomes they are close to the stage I like(around 20-30% amber) so I will harvest them.. probably 1 more week. Overall really happy with what I am seeing 🤩 can’t wait to smoke it 🤪

At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. Flower Week 1 Day 7 to 13 - 3/25 to 3/31 Simply watching the stretch from this point. Both plants recovered very nicely from Schwazze extreme defoliation and all of the colas/branches are mostly even at top. Feed this week was again an auto pot reservoir feed at 650ppm total before add-ins. I used 325ppm Veg concentrate mix (recipe week 2) and 325ppm Bloom concentrate mix (recipe week 5). However, I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) and ph balance this week was for 5.8 where Io plan to maintain it until harvest. Next week nutes will increase in Bloom mix again but also reduce in Veg mix. Feed will be 700ppm before add-ins with 5.8ph before feeding.

Wow look at her flowers!!!!!!! She is bushy as hell!!!! I do not know what phenotype this is but there is absolutely no purple either 😞 Still, she is she bushiest plant I've grown in a long long time. Quite impressive!!! 😎💪

I’m a week late posting on these as I was a week ahead in the timeframe for this diary because of the new Germination option. We are caught up now day wise anyway, and all is good. Finally got her into the flowering tent and into my 5 gal RDWC system under a 1000w HPS on a light rail mover. We flipped her to flowering as soon as we got her in because my DWC systems tend to grow big ass plants. Lol so I’ve decided to flip without much of my screen full and let the stretch fill it. I will also be hitting them at 1000w rite from the start instead of trying to turn it down and get it closer to save power consumption. I will be starting with the light already up as high as it can be at about 3 ft above the screen. I’ve also shortened the span of my rail mover and set my pauses shorter at about 10 sec. with the light at 1000w we get a better spread out on the light meter and don’t need to move the light as far. I’m also going to keep tucking till they completely stop stretching in an effort to keep them as low as possible. We also had some excessive nitrogen build up a couple weeks ago and dropped the ec way down to 0.2 for the next week. They responded quick and went in the opposite direction very fast and before I new it we had nitrogen deficiency. Lol so we got them sitting around 0.75 EC now and they are coming back around. Out of the 6 Ginger Punch Autos, 4 are looking like healthy seedlings, 1 has some helmet head and is a little behind compared to the others, and 1 of them died :( The Kritic Auto hasn't sprouted yet. Not sure what to do with this one. Next week I'll have another LED to have some more light as they go into the vegetative stage. But I would love some high quality lights, but unfortunately I'm on a budget at the moment. Stay tuned!

FD15 - Today was the start of the third week of flowering. I gave #1 2.5-liters of water @ pH 6.1. FD18 - I gave #2 2-liters of water @ pH 6.6.

Hello. This is the end of week 10 of flowering... and it's harvest time. Just shot some quick video's to show what they look like after flushing. Should take around 4 or 5 days to harvest all 13 plants. With the weighing of the raw branches before wet trimming them and writing down the weight, And the taking of the photo's, making them look good, it takes a little longer to harvest doing a diary. Look what I did to my girl, poor lady. But i'm sure she will bounce back, but with all that leaf shit It's hard to properly tie them down. So i broke off a total of 2 branches (yellow tape) and managed to attach one back to it. Otherwise she took all the stress LIKE A CHAMP - yet. We'll see. To be honest, i was quite lazy with her the last days, it was pretty stressful but look at her, she is basically growing herself! As long as you can cool it, have some sort of system to change water and some, basic nutrients and ph- DWC is the easiest system for me, 100% Look at the roots and i did not fill up the reservoir for like half a week, so a lot of it wsd exposed to air for a longer time still she is growing and growing. Two more weeks and i might have a problem with her in flower, because she will drink so much water the reservoir won't hold a long time haha. Almost forget, i need to add either more fertilizer /ml or give extra calmag. will probably do both kekw Cheers guys! (whoever reads this, this is your sign, get high 👌)

Grow Diary Update: Week 5 - Pre-Flowering and LST Evaluation Entering Pre-Flowering Stage At the end of last week, the first pistils appeared, marking the beginning of the pre-flowering stage for my plants 🙌 There's much to manage now. To support optimal stretching, I've adjusted the nutrients following 2/3 of the Terra Aquatica feeding schedule: CalMag: 2 ml/l (Starting EC before adding nutrients: 0.45 mS/cm) Grow: 1.33 ml/l Bloom: 1.0 ml/l Micro: 1.33 ml/l The nutrient solution now has an EC of 1.3 mS/cm (638 ppm PPM-500/TDS) with a pH of 6.1. These adjustments aim to promote vigorous growth and prepare the plants for flowering. Weather and Growth With significant weather improvements, my plants are thriving at full speed. Every centimeter gained now counts towards maximizing the final yield, turning around from the challenging weeks prior. Pest Management I'm fortunate not to have encountered pests like spider mites, aphids, or thrips. However, the persistent snail issue remains. Nightly patrols with a flashlight have been effective, and placing old lettuce leaves away from the plants has helped trap and remove snails, ensuring the plants remain undisturbed. LST Experiment Results The two plants I trained with LST have responded admirably, showing healthy adaptation to the bending and vigorous growth. Yet, I'm at a crossroads regarding the upcoming stretch phase: should I continue to tie down branches to maintain an even canopy or allow natural upward growth to potentially boost vertical yield? Should I proceed with low-stress training to control canopy height, or should I let the plants stretch upwards for increased productivity?
