The grow was a rollercoaster of highs and lows. My Blue Dream plant developed mold in the buds, so I decided to harvest my Banana purple punch earlier to stay on the safe side. The trichomes exhibited a good balance of amber and milky colors, but unfortunately, there was no time for a proper flush period. Banana Purple Punch encountered the most challenges among the strains. It struggled with aphids, nitrogen toxicity, and thrips, which affected its overall health and bud development. This strain seemed particularly sensitive to high nutrient levels, which likely contributed to these issues. Despite these setbacks, I’m hopeful for a decent harvest. Each problem provided valuable lessons on pest management and nutrient balance, which will be beneficial for future grows. Update 09.08. Today, I brought the Banana Purple Punch into my apartment for a trim session. Since I didn’t trim her wet, this took a bit more effort compared to the Blue Dream harvest. The buds are quite airy and fluffy, but they have a fantastic aroma. The vibrant purple color of the buds is stunning, and I can't wait to give them a proper cure and eventually taste them—I’m confident they’ll be delicious. Unfortunately, I had to discard a few buds due to mold spots again. The rich purple hues of the buds make it challenging to distinguish between mold and the natural coloration, but once they're fully dry and cured, the smell should reveal any lingering issues. The dry weight was 24 gramm.

Another beautiful black cherry punch 🍒 👊 exact same aroma, very sweet and fruity like strawberries amd cherries 🍒 🍓, the nuggets are sticky full of very terpy resin. Just a pleasure to work with her. Can't wait to smoke her.

I haven’t added any dry nutrients or Cal/Mag, and there are no signs of nutrient deficiencies. It’s been about three weeks since I last top-dressed with dry nutrients, and as we head into the fourth, everything looks healthy. The only minor issue is a bit of phosphorus toxicity from using more bloom nutrients than veg nutrients, but it’s not a big problem. Wedding Glue is frosty . I cleaned them up bout to switch the filter on the humidifier so they can stay close to 60 % and I’m using my AC got it set to 73 in the tent though be at 77-68 which good for me until I elevate my equipment and grows…. I’ll recommend. Looking forward to Gorilla Cookies 🍪

Day 50 - is a jungle in here a. she is enormous, and still growing, branches are too long becoming too close to lighting... adjusting the lights to only 67% (201w) intensity to control the growth b. changed the DWC out to a fresh pool, raised the Cal mag to 1.5ml/L, 1000ppm she loves it Day 51 a. she is loving the higher PPM solution! b. the buds are expanding, and are very sticky c. the resin is now growing with new growth Day 52 a. gave her a 5L Cal-Mag only boost with stream water, ppms 850 and dropping b. this plant is so hungry Day 53 - monster plant a. she is growing still, so much veg! b. the buds are bigger and bigger everyday c. video upload Day 54 a. expanding everywhere still b. the smell is very nice!! c. she is still drinking 5-6 litres a day d. still using 201watts lighting, intensity only 67%. e. topped off with a fresh 5L spring water, PH 6.0 with PH down. f. ppms at 650 after the fresh water, will go back upward with next feed. g. major defoliation, 50+ fan leafs from the bottom of the plant and around the canopy. The stems are very solid, thanks Armor Si in veg. opens up many new sites for 201 watts of light. I was forced to chop a small branch off of the Fire OG because of PM. Tropicana Cookies was lightly affected as well. I finally grabbed a larger 70 pint dehumidifier, I’m hoping that high humidity issues are now a thing of the past. On my next run, i will definitely run a longer veg with more LST training. I feel like my buds are pretty small in comparison to others I’ve been seeing at the same stage as mine. The trichomes are coming in nice and heavy tho!

Noticing more seeds poppin thru, I hope it's from the moonshine cookies pollen cuz the female turned out bomb and the male wasnt too bad either so they might be decent seeds. Started the flush on the citradellic and the other ones might have got their last feed yesterday. Should be finishing up next week and the week after. These are interesting growing plants. I took cuts but the one I like disappeared somehow or got its name tag mixed up I'm not sure but I'm kinda pissed about it. I honestly cant describe the smell it just smells like dank bud. The pistils are so dark but the lowers look like the could fill in a little more so I gave it one more feed yesterday and I think I'll start the flush on all of them when they dry out.

It was a ride! My first ever indoor grow and I’m very pleased with how I filled up the tent, with autoflowers. The buds are looking dense so I’m guessing around 100 grams in dry buds 👌🏻

Week#7 Day#44 Update: shes looking nice and bushy from the ponytailing. I gave her a half a gallon of water and she drank it right up . I gave it to her day 42 I believe I noticed her leaves droopy. I still have not topped her yet there’s atleast 13 main arms needing to be pinched out currently. I’m still riding the fence with whether I’ll top dress feed her and keep her in this pot for one more month or will I transplant her up and boost the feed proportionately with the increased pot size . Week#7 Day#45 update since I can’t seem to stop riding the fence on the methods I want to use to grow this plant I decided I atleast needed to do a heavy defoliation to expose those growth sites to encourage more branching . I could continue with ponytailing & defoliation for a while I just keep kicking the can around on whether topping will make this healthy vigorous growing plant better . It’s already doing everything I could ever want in terms of lateral growth . Could it stand to be a bit more vigorous on the upwards growth ? Sure , however I’ve still got 3 ladies maturing up in this tent that I need to move out so I’m sort of happy shes not requiring a lot of leg room know what I mean ? I think as the fan leaves grow out I’ll pony tail up each top again . Week#7 Day#46 No changes Week#7 Day#47: started pony tailing her tops as the fan leaves get large enough to pin up I’ll cover as many as possible to let those lower growths get growing . Week#7 Day#48: still pony tailing tops 😁 we’ll make her into a Week#7 Day#49: those new fan leaves neeed to be pony tailed but are also incredibly yellow . I wanted to try putting the dry amendment at the bottom of my planter but for the sake of time I won’t experiment & have wasted a 2 weeks considering I knew last week she “ should be getting hungry “ & it’ll take 1 week of top watering before these dry amendments are available to the plant so she may stay e looking deficient. I gave her 2 heaping tablespoons & watered her in with 1/2 gallon of ph’d water with (organic)cal mag .

Well the plant in flower is DANK AF!!!! Then theres 1 lagging behind it and then the shorty and tall boi are both just now starting to flower. I feed then the same feed as last week, I might kick up bloom a bit later this week, but I think the plants are happy and really besides the lag and yellow leaves they are some gorgeous looking plants!!!! great node formation! lots of tricomes and lots of flower!!!!! I think this bud is gonna be RICH!!!! ____________________________________________________ Defoliated the little guy, it should help. I'm just sorta holding in this "flower" feed.

Week 9: Flower - The First Harvest & Final Countdown! ✂️🌿 THE BIG CHOP IS DONE! Gorilla Z #1 has been harvested, and we're officially in the drying phase. Meanwhile, the remaining ladies are marching toward their own finish lines. Gorilla Z #1 - HARVESTED! 🎉 She's down! After weeks of growth, recovery from overwatering, and pushing through to the end, this girl finally got the chop. Trichome Check: Mostly cloudy/milky (peak THC production ✓) A few amber trichomes starting to show Minimal clear trichomes Harvest Timing: Honestly? I was in a rush—ran out of flower to smoke! 😅 But the trichomes were in a good window, so it worked out. Sometimes necessity makes the decision for you. Could've waited for more amber for a heavier effect, but she was ready enough. What's Next: Drying phase begins now Aiming for slow dry (60°F, 60% humidity if possible) Then comes the cure—patience will be tested again! The Relief: Finally got some homegrown coming down the pipeline. The timing couldn't be better!
