Hello lads! How are you doing? So, week 8 and the ladies are amazing, the buds are getting fat is this stage, and I am very happy with it. Gonna start the harvesting in two weeks. Thanks for following me!

She was grown in a 24 oz. cup with NO ISSUES.. Which leads me to believe that "rootbound" is nothing but a myth.. I have grown 4 other girls in even smaller cups.. Same outcome.. No issues whatsoever.. I will be updating more as the harvest progresses.. Im going to dry and cure the same way I did the White Widow I recently harvested.. Which is.. In the box I will run the fan for 24 - 48 hours.. Once I notice the plant is beginning to shrivel up some I will stop using the fan and go with how the buds feel.. I would rather jar them up too early because if the hygrometer reads 70% humidity then I can just lay her out for another few hours and jar her back up.. Once she is able to sit in the jar and doesnt go over 68% than i will only burp once every 2 or 3 days for about a week.. It all depends how dry she gets before curing.. Not going to count my chickens before they hatch.. That is just the way I have been able to dry and cure without ruining any terpenes since my environment is not all that great for drying and curing cannabis.. Anyways.. Will be updating as I go!!! So happy and excited.. But when I wake up I already know that Im going to jump up to check on her in the tent like I have been for the past 106 days lol.. Anyways.. Will be updating!!! Day 108.. About 20 hours after harvesting.. She is still smelling lovely.. In the past it would start smelling like hay.. But I've figured out how to slow the drying process down with my awful environment.. I also cut the fan off for now.. I may cut it back on later today or tomo.. We shall see!!! Day 109.. About 48 hours of drying.. Not sure if its the box I'm smelling along with the skunk.. But it's kinda smelling a bit weird.. Almost hay like.. Ugh.. I will be PISSED if I ruined this one.. Stems are still super bendy.. Not even close to snapping.. I'm going to leave the fan off for now.. The warmth in the room the box is in is probably enough to help dry.. Hopefully not gonna dry too fast.. Leaves are still not crisp.. So that's another good sign.. We will see what happens!!! So excited to give this nasty bitch a taste!!! Day 4 of drying (after harvest)... Ok.. So I havent been noting anything down.. But this is what has happened so far.. The plant was pretty much dry on the 3rd morning.. Or so it felt.. Crispy.. Smaller stems were snapping.. So I put it in jars.. I havent weighed it yet tho.. Will do that later.. But after about 12 hours in the jars (3 Qt sized jars btw) the hygrometers were reading 72%, 74% and 78%.. So I left them out overnight for about 16 hours or so.. Maybe not even that long.. I put them in jars early this morning and left for work.. After about an hour or 2 in the jars, they were reading about 56% - 57%.. I hope I didnt over dry them overnight.. I went ahead and grabbed a nice sized nug to teat out for today.. Stoned asf.. Thats for sure.. But the smoke is still pretty harsh.. I can smell the skunk for sure still.. Its actually really stinky lol.. Like, not an attractive smell whatsoever lol.. But its for sure the terpenes.. Not any issues with them.. But when I get home.. I'll be able to get a better, longer reading on the huds today after last nights drying... ... Later.. Ok so one jar is reading at 62% second jar is reading 57% and the last jar is ready 54%... They all still smell great : 1: but I'm wondering if a nug from the 62% jar is not going to be as harsh as the jar at 54%.. Hmm.. May try that out later tonight.. ... Even later.. Lol So yeah the 62% jar is much smoother.. No harshness whatsoever.. Ok.. I see where I make my mistakes.. But can still save the smells and tastes.. Im sure the other jars will eventually lose the harshness.. I hope.. My Berry Ryder never lost any harshness.. That was harvested and a little overdried like over 6 months ago.. Still harsh.. But this strain doent smell like hay.. The worst smell you can smell when it comes to drying and curing.. For me atleast.. If it smells like hay.. The tepenes are long gone lol.. I have had my first 3 harvests come out like f'n hay.. But I think I got it figured out.. For the most part.. Just need to get better temps in drying.. Hmm.. Fuck it.. Maybe even use a evaporative cooling humidifier in the room with it.. Not in the box (obviously cuz the one I got would fill the drying box pretty much.. Its huge asf).. Load it up with ice daily.. Damn I forgot I had that thing.. I need it for my tent now actually.. Got a 20oz cup with a 4 week old ZkittleZ Glue (Photoperiod) from Expert Seeds.. Not even flowering yet that already smells dank asf.. Flippin it in the next few couple days actually.. Dont have a diary on her tho..anyhoo.. Will be updating and adding some updated pics in the AM... About 4 days of curing... Well each jar is a bit different.. I am noticing that jar #1 is at 63% humidity and smells dank as fuuuuck.. No need for any humidity pack.. At least not right now. Jar #2 is at 58% humidity with a humidity pack and it smells pretty danky as fucky too.. But not as strong as jar #1.. And jar #3 is at 55-56% humidity with a humidity pack and doesnt really smell much.. It does.. But for sure not as strong as jar #1 and #2.. Which brings me to my next issue.. I bought these Integra Boost 62% Humidity Packs... They worked well about 6 months ago.. I left these others sealed up and protected for ANYTHING.. and now they fucking suck.. Is there a time limit on these fuckers? Does Boveda 62 Packs do the same shit??? Ugh.. Wasted money like a mf'r.. If I took the packs out of jar #2 and #3 it would not change the humidity whatsoever.. I thought they would at least do SOMETHING.. a couple more digits up.. But hell no.. I even handled the fuck out of them hoping to stir em up and "active" em or some shit lol.. But nope.. Nothing.. These things suck.. Boveda 62 is my next purchase.. But I'll wait for my next harvest.. Smh.. Maybe if I double up they will work better? Such a fucking waste.. It was about 65 or 66 grams all together.. I already smoked about a gram to try it out.. So now ill just say its 64 grams. Not bad for a 24 oz cup grow in my opinion... By the way.. Integra Boost 62% Humidity Packs SUCK!!!. They did work the first time I used them. But about 30 - 60 days later I used 2 more gor these jars.. And it cant keep anything above what it naturally was in the jar.. Sometimes I feel like mixing them up in their package.. Like crumpling the whole thing up and moving all the gel, or whatever thats inside, around to help.. Activate it?? Lol it brought it up 1%.. Thats it.. I even put 4 of them in a jar of bud that was already 58%.. With all 4 Integra Boost packs.. 60% on a good day lol.. Boveda packs too a few days to start working.. But ai had to kinda "activate" them as well.. After 4 days of "activating" and NOW the jars are 62% - 63% from natually about 57% and 58%... The third jar is natually at 62% - 63% so I just burp that one once a week.. Smells so super skunky! Tastes amazing.. Nugs are pretty dense also.. Lots of red hairs (dead pistils) which kinda help for the bag appeal more than anything.. As a kid growing up.. I always thought it was the hairs that got you high.. I also thought that you could just plant them outside anytime of the year.. And that the thc was stored in the roots.. Thats why they hang plants upside down.. So my first couple harvests as a kid (2 grams max and only flowered for probably 5 weeks if not only 4) and hug the entire plant upside down including the dirty ass roots that I had in the mud ai was using to grow them in. Smh.. What was I thinking?!?! Haha... Anyways.. Boveda packs are working.. Integra Boost packs stop working if you dont use them up within a month.. Smh.. Trash.. Fucking trash

Shorter plants 13”, larger is 18”. Beneficial nematodes and the sticky trap seem to have handled the gnat issue. I’m continuing to use nematodes after watering, and the traps will remain. I did a little trimming but probably won’t do much more defoliation until the stretch is over. This will probably be my last shower grow. I think it makes more sense to get a bigger space like a tent or build one and some more lights. It’s getting cramped in there. It’s also starting to reek. I water about every 2-3 days using a 1/2 gallon jug to mix my nutes. I’m keeping ph close to 6.5 and ppms between 600-800. I don’t use nutes in every watering—it depends on how the plants look. Am Samstag direkt in die Erde gesteckt. Mit der Blumat Classic Bewässerung und etwas zusätzliches bewässern der Topfe durch ne Gießkanne, von oben nur mit Wasser. In den Blumat Tanks sind die Nutrients. Nach 5 Tagen kamen die ersten 2/6. Nach der Pause waren dann alle 6/6 von da. Voller Erfolg.

IVE MADE MORE VIDEOS BUT THEY JUST DON'T SEEM TO UPLOAD AND IT'S FAR TO SLOW TO DO IT FROM HOME 6/27 Made last week a five day week to get back on track. It's still overcast and rainy. It's not raining a lot bit it's consistent. Despite the weather the plants are doing phenomenal. I'll update later. It's 1pm. It's been raining consistently since 11. Just a sprinkle but it's steady. I'm going to begun uploading the weeks weather on my diary. I may start a new diary for the plants I light depped as they are flowering pretty good. Rain stopped and it's just overcast for now. I looked at some videos and did a comparison of videos one week ago and videos today and HOLY SHIT! WHAT A DIFFERENCE. Especially the light depped 10th planet. Well everything but that was the most significant difference. I'm astonished at the health and growth despite the crummy weather. Continued to rain. Just got harder. Plants are taking it but it's flooding underneath the pallets a little but it will be fine. The light dep however has me concerned. The 10th planet is looking spectacular. The bigger purple punch I'd looking good too. The smaller one though looks to have a pollen sack coming off one of the branches. Considering its not on the otherside I assume it's not just a swollen calyx. I don't mind chucking it especially if that means I don't hurt my other girls so I want to make sure. I sent videos to a few other growers and I'll add a question on here. Those three plants have been isolated from the rest for a few days due to rain. I have the suspect isolated alone until I can confirm. It sucks cause the light Depp was going good and the6ve all got little flowers. 6/28 Well that fucking sucks. ALL THREE plants I tried to light depp hermed on me. I could see male flowers. Luckily I had been keeping a really good eye on them and it was preflowers mostly. At least I caught it. One or two stamines on each plant. Would've been really easy to miss. Only one had STARTED to elongate into a stem so I think I caught it early enough. Plus since all this rain they've been kept in a different location then my big girls. Glad I did that now. Boy the roots looked good on those plants. I just grabbed the stalk and lifted and it came right out of the pot. I held it there admiring it for a minute. This sucks. At least the real plants are doing good. As far as I know. No male preflowers that's for sure. I've got some feedback from other growers and the videos are a little blurry but I had found a light leak and I'm certain these plants hermed. I know I could've tried to save them but I didn't want to risk it. I compared what I was seeing with Google photos and other websites. Aside from the larger ball with its stem, there were also several little bumps besides developed calyxes that were weaving into little buds. Trust me that I wouldn't cut down my plants if I wasn't 110% sure. I might've been able to "save them" but to me it's just not worth the risk. 6/29 I was second guessing myself pretty hard last night due to some responses I got on my light dep and messages I got from other growets. Made my anxiety horrible but I looked on several video's I'd taken again and I know what I saw. I felt better after that. This was after I researched and waited THREE days until I saw the ball on the stem and the groupings of small nubs under a fresh yellow flower. These plants were flowering good and it sucks to lose them. One MAY have been ok but one was a runt and had all the characteristics of a true hermaphrodite. They were only in 3's and I couldn't risk my harvest for an experiment. Still sucks. Oh well. Sun is starting to come out. Plants seem to be doing fantastic. I have one spot on a leaf that looks like a pillar munched on a leaf so I'll probably get the bt out soon as I have a dry day that I can apply it. I'll have to check the weather. I need to start a nute regiment but the plants aren't telling me they need anything yet. 6/30 I fucked up dates or dodnt do it yesterday or it didnt save right so I'm leaving this blank today is the 1st. 7/1 I have still only watered s couple times and I haven't had to feed. This week I'm going to start nutes. I had some external ersonal situations that have kept me from my plants. I'm hoping to get back on track. I noticed some pillar damage so I'll need to dig out the BT. This morning I saw this giant ground hog by my cage. Hated too but had to get rid of him. Of course some of the blowback landed on the leaves of one of my plants. I tried to clean it as best I could. Better than that fat bastard eating everything in one night. I broke a branch either falling around it or bulling through when I was pissed or I LST it the wrong way and the wind broke it against the tomato cage. Nice big branch too on top. I tried to fix it with duct tape but we'll see. The plants need me to spend sometime with them. I need to clean them up. Apply bt and give them their first feeding. I'll update as I go. They don't seem nutrient deficient by any means but I don't think it would hurt to start the nutes. 7/2 Bags were lighter today and if it wasn't going to rain tonight and tomorrow I'd he watering. Plants look great so soil isn't depleted yet I guess. They're growing rather rapidly. The branch I broke didnt make it. Had an idea it wouldn't but I had to try. I waited on the BT on account of the rain. I may go back over and change my mind and water with silica or a mild nute solution or maybe apply the BT. Depends what time I get back. I have some work I need to do over there. There's a few that I need to clean up the bottoms on. Pest damage is minor and limited to one or two plants and a leaf or two only. 7/3 More rain. It was supposed to rain this morning too but it didn't. We got .33in yesterday and through last night so I thought that was ok. Looking back on my previous diaries I'm doing things significantly different than before. I had used a lot more nutes earlier on. This morning I mixed two gallons of 2tsp of big bloom and fed it to the 9 plants in smart pots leaving the container plants as they have much more water in them. Looking back at other diaries I previously had, WPM and septoria by this time not to mention a shit ton of other pests I was fighting by this time. Since I poisoned where the cagexwas multiple times and sprayed the cage before it was moved I luckily don't have that problem yet knock on wood. I'm planning to apply BT tonight to deal with the moth larvae if there are any. I'm looking at plants around this area and im seeimg SOME septoria and pm on raspberry bushes and burdock so it is around. I made sure my cage is not by any other vegetation this year and is sitting on asphalt with the bags on raised pallets. Good thing I did or I guarantee they'd be flooded by now. I've been seeing multiple complaints from maine growers online (AND THEY HAVE HEALTHY PLANTS!) saying this is the worst year ever. Maybe they need a dose of fusarium oxysporum to keep them humble. This is maine. If you don't like the weather just wait five minutes. Meanwhile I'll be doing my sun dance hoping for sun. "Hard to grow cannabis with no sunlight" said another grower on my forum.

The strong

The temperatures in my city finally dropped so my plants are responding way better to the lower temps. I began with a little LST at the end off the week because this Strawberry Pie Auto grows compact with little node spacing, so I did some LST to open her up and get more light onto the little baby budsites :)

This was a good harvest for 9L pots and being a bit crammed into the tent. Like the others grown in this grow she probably would have come out with some amazing colours if I could have lowered the temps near the end of its cycle.

On day 1 I changed out my reservoir. I lowered my nutes to 650 ppm(25% reduction). I adjusted the PH down to 6.1. My left plant has some burnt tips from either PH shift or over fertilization. My hope is that the lower ppm will help to resolve the issue before it spreads. On day 2 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 6.3 to 5.9. On day 3 the reservoirs PH is 6.0. I installed my new 200 watt HLG Rspec. I adjusted PPFD readings to 700-1300 PPFD on all tops. On day 4 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 5.8 to 6.2. On day 5 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 6.4 to 6.0. I diluted my nutrients in my reservoir by removing one gallon of nutrients from the rez and and adding 2 gallons of straight tap water to the rez. This brought the nute concentration from 770 ppm to 540 ppm as the plants will be entering the ripening stage in a few days and they have too much nitrogen judging by the extremely dark green leaves and burnt leaf tips on some branches of the left side plant. The buds seem slightly smaller then my last run which may be due to an excess of nitrogen and maybe not enough light as some of my tops are taller then the others making proper PPFD challenging. All in all the girls are coming along nice and I look forward to the final weeks of flowering 😀 On day 6 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 5.9 to 6.2. I think I have halted the nute burn as I haven't seen it progressing any more on the leaves. I will continue to monitor closely during these final weeks. The trichome production is increasing with some trichs on top of colas starting to go cloudy. The pistils are turning brown with roughly 40-50% are turning brown all signs I'm getting closer to the harvest window 😆. I dimmed my light to give 600-1000 PPFD to tops. On day 7 I reduced my temps to 75 during the day and 68 at night. I adjusted the PH of the reservoir from 6.6 to 6.1. My reservoirs ppm was too high so I diluted the rez with 2 gal of tap water. This brought it down to 480ppm. The average ppfd to all 14 tops is 604 with no top receiving more than 1000 ppfd

Hi I would like to introduce you to my first ever, cobbled together, but so far so good, growers' garden. I welcome and look forward to your ideas and advice. Germination done in between cotton pads. The one seed that didn't germinated was bigger and darker than the others(slightly).

Day 49-56 (June 18th - 25th) (Day 51) Slurricanes and tuna are doing excellent despite their hail damaged leaves. I’m seeing good growth and decent dry downs. One of them looks like it’s been ravaged by pests but I still can’t find any evidence or signs of a pest. I’m suspecting caterpillars so I’m going to grab some BTK killer and also some all purpose insecticide sometime this week if I have time. The clones are all really lagging so they won’t be flipped until July 15th at least. I’m still not seeing normal growth on any of them yet. It’s still quite gnarled and twisted. (Day 52) The slurricane and tuna roots are starting to poke through the bottom of my pots. This is usually from underwatering, a thick soil or a hot root zone. I’m going to give everything except for the autos a good watering with some runoff. I am going to start incorporating 5mm sand into all of my soil mixes to help make the soil more loamy and give it some better drainage. I will also top dress every container and bed plant I have. (Day 53) I was at a local department store today and I was shocked to see pallets of Destiny dark matter soil selling for 60% off! I bought 10 bags for a hundred bucks. At any hydro store that would have costed me 250 at least. I might go grab more because it looks like no one is buying it for 60% off even. (Day 54) I’m going to be harvesting both of my indoor crops today and tomorrow or the next day I am going to be reusing the soil-coco blend for the slurricanes. I’m first going to till it, add a gallon of sea compost, a gallon of Destiny soil and a few cups of 5mm sand per container. I will use the excess for 5 gal pots. I will be amending with: 5 tablespoons of nature’s pride bloom 4 tablespoons of kelp meal 2 tablespoons of Gaia green AP 2 tablespoons of glacial rock dust 2 tablespoons of oyster shell flour 2 tablespoons of alfalfa meal 1 tablespoon of rock dust blend 1/4 teaspoon of langbeinite (Day 56) The autos are really making a comeback now. I was under the impression that I was working against the clock and they would start flowering after 3-5 weeks. I guess if they’re stunted from the cold they will delay flowering. I don’t see any pistils or signs of flowering yet so I don’t think they’ve officially started flowering yet I didn’t get a chance to do my transplant this week or pest control. I will get to it ASAP because my photos are drinking almost a liter a day

I’m 40 years old and based in the western part of Germany, living a grounded life as a family man. My main profession is in sales within the automotive spare parts industry, operating in a large-scale B2B wholesale environment across Germany. We work with around 7,500 active business clients, and my role is less about day-to-day orders and more about the bigger picture. I’m the first point of contact for business-related matters — handling contracts, partnerships, and acting as the face of our department. It’s a role that requires structure, reliability, and a strong sense for communication. Outside of that, I’ve always been someone who works with his hands. I take on a wide range of manual projects — from tiling and drywall construction to more specialized work like sealing fire protection openings. I enjoy creating things, improving spaces, and paying attention to the small details that make the difference. That mindset follows one simple rule: all or nothing. If I do something, I do it properly. This attitude has shaped me for over 40 years — and it naturally carries over into my grows and the way I document them. I put a lot of care into every step, from the grow itself to how I present it in my diaries. If I had to describe my life in a few pillars, it would be four: my family, my main job, my hands-on side work, and growing. And growing isn’t just a hobby for me — it’s a real passion that ties everything together. 🌱 2. How did you get into growing? Tell us about your very first steps. My first contact with cannabis goes way back to when I was around 14. Back then, there was no WhatsApp or social media — if you wanted to meet people, you’d call them or maybe send a (pretty expensive) text, and then everyone would just hang out in the same spot. For us, that place was simply “the street.” I was one of the younger guys in the group, hanging around with a few older ones, maybe 17 or 18. One of them used to disappear into a nearby field every now and then — everyone knew what he was doing, even if it wasn’t really talked about. At that age, I was curious, but also a bit hesitant. At the same time, I was heavily into football, and most of my circle came from there. One day, during some kind of event at the sports ground, I ended up trying it for the first time with some of the older guys. It wasn’t the smoothest experience, especially mixed with alcohol, but it stayed with me. After that, things developed naturally. Our small circle grew, especially through school, and we became what you’d probably call a typical smoker group. The real turning point, though, was when one of the guys — who had just moved to our area — showed me his hidden grow in the attic. It was a super basic setup with fluorescent tubes, no real climate control, no deep knowledge — but he was growing his own plants. That moment stuck with me. It sparked something. Even back then, I knew I wanted to do it myself one day. That chance came years later. When I was around 22, I moved into my first apartment with my girlfriend — who is now my wife. For the first time, I had my own space, and that’s when I started my first real grow. I converted an IKEA cabinet in a spare room into a small grow space, just big enough for two indica plants. Nothing fancy, but it was mine. I got my seeds from the Netherlands back then, and I kept growing for about two to three years. My setup evolved over time — back then it was all HPS lamps and fluorescent tubes, long before LED became what it is today. I still have my old Homebox tent from that time, and it’s funny — it still looks almost brand new. At some point, life changed and we moved into a place where growing just wasn’t possible anymore. So I had to stop, even though the passion never really left. Then came 2024 and the partial legalization in Germany. For me, that was the moment everything came back. It’s still far from perfect, but for growers like us, it opened the door again to follow this passion a bit more freely — and that’s when I picked it back up. 3. What role does cannabis play in your life – personally and as a grower? Cannabis has fascinated me from the very first moment — whether it was the smell, the experience, or just the whole vibe around it. For me, it was never really about medicine in the beginning. It was more like a way to unwind, almost like a switch that brings you into a different, more relaxed state. What always stood out to me was the feeling — that deep physical relaxation and the sense of connection. It was never something negative in my life. In fact, I’ve always preferred it over alcohol, both back then and still today. It just fits me better. Depending on the situation, it can even sharpen my focus. Of course, it can also do the opposite if you overdo it — but used the right way, it helps me slow down, reset, and find that “end of the day” feeling. Over time, though, my perspective has evolved. As you get older, your body starts reminding you that you’re not 20 anymore. I recently had a shoulder tendon injury, and that was the first time I really experienced the medical side of cannabis in a noticeable way. It helped reduce the pain and even improved my mobility — something I hadn’t really thought about before. But as a grower, cannabis means something even deeper to me. Growing is a true passion. It’s not just about consuming — it’s about the entire process from start to finish. Watching a plant develop, learning from each cycle, improving step by step — that’s what really drives me. It’s not about being better than anyone else. It’s about becoming better than I was before. That mindset carries over into other areas of my life as well — always refining, always learning. At the same time, growing teaches discipline. You can’t just let things run and expect great results. Timing, care, consistency — all of that matters. If you don’t put in the effort at the right moments, the outcome won’t be what you’re aiming for. That’s why I don’t see it as something lazy or passive at all. For me, it’s the opposite. Growing brings structure, focus, and a certain calmness into my life. It grounds me — and that’s what makes it so valuable to me. 🌱 4. What growing method do you prefer and why? I’ve always preferred indoor growing over outdoor. It comes back to my mindset — all or nothing. In my opinion, especially here in Germany, outdoor simply doesn’t give me the level of quality I’m aiming for. Indoor gives me full control, and that’s exactly what I want. At the same time, I’m someone who constantly experiments. Even if I know it might cost me yield, quality, or cause stress to the plants — I still do it. That’s how I improve. I need to see things with my own eyes and learn from my own experience to really understand what works best for me. I’ve always grown in soil. Over time, my setup has evolved a lot. I started with simple plastic pots, switched to fabric pots after legalization, and now I’ve come full circle back to plastic pots — mainly because I moved into an AutoPot system, which fits my current approach better. My goal today is to keep everything as efficient and stable as possible. I run an automated watering system connected to a 50-liter tank, which is filled through an RO system that I can control via app. The water runs through a calcium filter to help stabilize the pH. I’m not chasing perfect numbers anymore — as long as it’s stable and within a good range, that’s what matters more. In general, I prefer working with organic nutrients. For me, it’s important to know that the final product is as clean and natural as possible. I’ve gone through all the typical struggles before — adjusting pH, dealing with deficiencies, spending hours mixing water — and over time I’ve simplified my system more and more. That’s also where Biotabs fits perfectly into my setup. It’s a very natural match — simple, organic, and reliable. It allows me to focus more on the plants themselves instead of constantly adjusting inputs. My standard setup is pretty consistent: a 1.2 × 1.2 m tent, around 480W LED, AC ventilation with a carbon filter, and usually five plants. I top every plant at minimum, veg for about five weeks, and often run a SCROG net to maximize the canopy. But even here, I keep testing things. For example, I’m currently experimenting with and without a SCROG to see how it affects yield — because in the end, I’m not only chasing quality, but also efficiency. That’s really my approach in a nutshell: build a solid system, keep it simple, but never stop refining it. 🌱 5. Which strain is closest to your heart and what fascinates you about it? That’s a tough one — I don’t think there’s just one single answer. In general, I’ve always been a fan of fruity, citrus-forward strains. Every now and then I also enjoy something more gassy, but if I had to go with what naturally comes to mind, it’s actually the very first strain I ever grew. Back in 2012, during my first grow, I ran Super Skunk from Vision Seeds — and to this day, that one stands out. Funny enough, that first grow was probably my best one in terms of how it felt at the time. Everything was new, exciting, and that final product just hit different. Grown under a simple 400W setup, nothing compared to what we have today — but it was, without a doubt, the best weed I had smoked up to that point. It’s not just about the strain itself — it’s about the moment, the experience, and what it represented. At the same time, there’s another one I have to mention: Amnesia Haze (Core Cut). That strain is pure nostalgia for me. It was everywhere when I was younger — that classic haze we all knew. Growing it myself today brings back a lot of memories. It’s like a throwback to those early days, but now with the knowledge and control to really do it justice. So if I had to sum it up: one strain represents where it all started for me, and the other connects me to the roots of the scene I grew up in. 6. What has been your biggest learning moment as a grower – a mistake or a success that helped you grow? One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned as a grower is that routine can become your biggest enemy. When you grow consistently over time, you start to build confidence — and that’s a good thing. But at some point, that confidence can turn into complacency. You think you’ve seen it all, you start skipping small steps, and you tell yourself, “it’ll be fine.” That’s exactly where problems begin. Looking back at my earlier grows, especially before my longer break, my setup simply wasn’t good enough. I was growing under the roof with temperatures easily hitting 30°C, humidity was all over the place, and the environment just wasn’t dialed in. On top of that, I started letting things slide because I thought I had it under control. That combination was my wake-up call. Since getting back into growing after legalization, I’ve taken a completely different approach. I take it seriously now — not just as a hobby, but as something I want to master. And I also recognize that being able to grow under good conditions is a privilege. There are a lot of factors that need to align — your environment, your living situation, responsibility, especially with family — it’s not something you can take for granted. What really keeps me hooked is that growing never gets boring. I’ve had many hobbies in my life, but this is the only one that never lost its appeal. Even the “dirty work” — cleaning the tent, dialing everything in — it’s all part of the process. Of course, I’ve made every mistake you can imagine. Overfeeding, underfeeding, overwatering, underwatering — pests like aphids and thrips, and currently my biggest challenge: powdery mildew. That has been my toughest opponent so far. Even with controlled humidity, it can still show up, and it forces you to really understand your environment and your plants. The difference now is: I know how to deal with it. It’s under control, and that’s what growth is about — not avoiding problems, but learning how to handle them. Every mistake teaches you something. And over time, you build the confidence that no matter what shows up, you’ll find a way to fix it. 7. What does your typical grow routine look like – how much time do you invest and what do you enjoy most? My routine is pretty structured — I like to keep things consistent, but still leave room for adjustments when needed. It all starts with popping seeds. I usually germinate around five to six and then select the strongest five to continue with. They begin in small 0.2L pots under a humidity dome, using Canna Professional soil enriched with Biotabs Startrex according to the feeding schedule. After about two and a half weeks, I transplant them into 15L AutoPot containers. At that point, I water them in manually — first with about one liter of RO water, followed by another liter mixed with nutrients according to the schedule. After that, I give them a few days to settle before watering again — usually around five to six days later, again with RO water. This approach has worked well for me to avoid overwatering and to let the roots establish properly in the new medium. Even though the AutoPot system is already set up, I don’t activate it immediately. During the vegetative phase, I prefer hand-watering to encourage strong root development and avoid overwatering early on. Once I’m close to flowering, I switch the system on — basically just opening a valve, and everything runs automatically from there. From that point on, the workload drops significantly. I don’t really have to worry about watering anymore. Nutrients are kept simple as well — every couple of weeks I add a small top feed, and that’s basically it. Compared to how complicated things used to be, it almost feels like it runs by itself. That allows me to focus on what really matters: the plants. I still check on them regularly, usually every evening when I’m home. Not because I have to, but because I want to. Instead of mixing water or adjusting pH, I can actually observe — the leaves, the structure, the bud development. That’s where the real connection happens. That’s also when I decide what to do next — defoliation, LST, sometimes HST, or working with a SCROG net. It’s not always a fixed plan, more a combination of experience and feeling in the moment. Environmental control has also become a key part of my routine. I start with around 70% humidity during germination, then gradually bring it down — around 65% in early veg, and closer to 55% after transplant. Keeping things stable has made a huge difference for me. After roughly five weeks of veg, I flip to flower. From there, it’s about maintaining the system and letting the plants finish strong. Flowering usually runs around 8–10 weeks, depending on the strain. And then it all starts over again. What I enjoy most is exactly that balance — having a system that runs smoothly in the background, while I can fully focus on the plants themselves and the craft of growing. 🌱 8. What advice would you give beginners who are just stepping into the world of growing? If I had to give one piece of advice, it would be this: The rule is…there is no rule. That’s my mindset, and it’s something I truly believe in. Of course, there are guidelines, best practices, and a lot of information out there — but in the end, every grow is different, every environment is different, and every plant reacts in its own way. So instead of trying to follow everything blindly, sit down, observe, and learn from the plant. Growing is a process. You won’t get everything right from day one — and that’s completely normal. Mistakes are part of it. In fact, they’re one of the most important ways to learn. Today, it’s easier than ever to get into growing. There’s endless information online, tutorials, perfect pictures, and step-by-step guides. But that can also be misleading. You see these flawless results and think that’s the standard — but what you don’t see is the experience behind it. When I started, it was completely different. There were forums, very limited pictures, and you had to figure out a lot on your own. That forced you to really pay attention and understand what was happening in front of you. And that’s still the most important skill today. Look closely at your plants. They will tell you what they need — through their leaves, their structure, their growth. Once you start understanding that, everything else becomes much easier. So don’t chase perfection. Learn, adapt, and enjoy the process. And most importantly — enjoy the grower’s life. 🌱 9. How did you first hear about Biotabs and what made you want to try it? I’ve actually known about Biotabs for a long time. Back when I first started growing, I was running a fully mineral setup — using products like Canna Vega and Flores. At that time, the market wasn’t nearly as saturated as it is today, but brands like Hesi and Biotabs were already around. I remember seeing Biotabs on the shelves back then, but I never really made the switch. I just stuck to what I knew. My first real contact with Biotabs came much later, when I started diving deeper into soil biology — things like mycorrhiza and trichoderma. I became more interested in how the soil itself works and how to build a healthy microbial environment. That’s when I came across Bactrex. Funny enough, looking back now, I was using it completely wrong. I treated it like a different product and just added it straight into the planting hole, thinking that’s how it’s supposed to be used. Over time, I moved further and further away from mineral feeding and more towards a biological approach. And the more I experimented, the clearer it became to me: the combination of organic growing with a simplified system is exactly what I was looking for. 10. How has Biotabs influenced your grow and what do you appreciate most about the product? Biotabs has made my grow simpler, more stable, and overall more controlled. Before, I spent a lot of time adjusting things — mixing nutrients, checking pH, reacting to problems. With Biotabs, that complexity is reduced to a minimum. The system is straightforward: prepare the soil, add the tabs, water it in properly — and from there, it’s mostly just water. And the surprising part is: it works. Really well. For me, it fits perfectly into my current setup and mindset. I’ve built a system that is as efficient and automated as possible, and Biotabs complements that in the best way. It allows me to focus on the plants themselves instead of constantly managing inputs. That’s what I appreciate the most — the balance between simplicity and performance. You don’t have to chase numbers or overcomplicate things to get great results. At this point, it feels like a natural fit — almost like a symbiosis between my way of growing and the product itself. And once you find something that works reliably on that level, there’s really no reason to change it. It’s going well, I think it could be better though. I decided to decrease the part A nutes a bit because she didn’t like the extra nitrogen and increased part b to full strength. Her lower leaves are fading, although I’m not sure if this might be a bit of a magnesium deficiency. I hope she fattens up some more and produces more trichomes. Any advice is welcome!

And here we are ready with another flash strain from the Zamnesia Seeds family: Wurlz F1 Hybrid. Ready in 63 days, it was already ready the day I picked the Watermelons but sometimes choices have to be made during the harvest phase. Our two Wurlz immediately show the kinship with the just harvested Watermelon Candy, the shape of the flower, the way of flowering are really very similar, the Wurlz are similar to each other but a little smaller than the Watermelon which were two huge beasts. Here we are around 70 cm but nice full especially one but they are really similar, ripe, full of resin, another really effective strain. The consistency of the flower is really interesting, ladies and gentlemen these flowers were composed in a very short time it seems incredible but that's how it is and the quality is all there, absolutely all of it and to tell the truth something more than average is evident. However you judge with your own eyes, I am just a humble servant of this divinity called Cannabis and I am here to try what good Zamnesia produces and to test its characteristics, come with us and you will taste the light of paradise. Plant one and two are really very similar, one more productive, one slightly more mature but both came out on the same day, I'm in a tropical area and we're at 40 degrees in the grow, the plants are flying outside around here now, but I unfortunately nothing for now.
