So where I live we had a really bad storm it had knocked out my power for a full 24 hrs so I had to give them some extra attention to insure there was no mold or any pest with no fan rotation. Then I also had to put them back on there proper timer to get things back on a roll so far so good they still look and smell amazing wish me luck

Hello friends, so after almost 6 weeks of flower her end has come. Pistils were mostly all brown and curl in trichomes where almost all milky, I think topping it made it finished so much faster and it's something I will not do again with this strain. However the harvest was incredible just for this one plant. As you can see total wet was over 400 grams with some branches so I'm guessing maybe about 300 grams of just wet bud. Will come back to update dry weight as well as taste and effect on her. 10/28/2021 Day 85- Finally harvested the other two plants and WOW the smell is super strong and frosty buds everywhere. So after adding this wet weight to the first I came up with a total of 1260 grams wet weight. Will dry for about ten days and will update total dry weight.

First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. Day 77 - Look at this plant! Just look at it! The trichomes on her are simply amazing. I've never seen anything like it in my tent before. View the close up photos at high res and you can see the trichomes clearly. They're EVERYWHERE!!!! She is ridiculously sticky, and when you touch her the smell is pure grapefruit. Citrus but sour. 😍 I would love to do a lab test on this strain but geographically I cannot..... I'm estimating well over 20% THC....

Cruising along into pre-flower, 13" tall on 6/28 and looking healthy. Haven't needed much water with the rain, so onward we go.

Day 8 - very healthy sprout a. the roots are already into the pool, forming ladder roots b. I changed the DWC out, always from top watering you will get some gunk in there from the root riot/hydro rock dust, tends to build up on the roots, it never hurts anything, however it couldnt be good for the nutrient absorption. c. water source is mountain water, 130ppm from spring. d. TS1000 is at 100% intensity at 75cm away from the top, they love this day 9 - growing fast a. she is growing fast, and the roots are developing nicely b. keeping the ph 5.8-6 Day 10 - looking very nice a. this seedling is very healthy, strong Day 11 - growing fast a. this is a very fast plant, having to keep knocking the PH down Day 12 - growing very well a. had to move her to the corner of the tent to make way for my Afghan kush plant, it got too cold out in our barn for the Afghan kush b. the seedling is growing very well, she still gets a good amount of light Day 13 - growing well a. she appears to be growing fine despite her tent mate b. will be nice to move the Afghan out of here next week when it is supposed to get warmer Day 14 - nice environment a. the Afghan Kush and the Big Bud are friends now, lol b. all is growing well here c. video of our friendly environment

This plant was a show-er for sure! The plants sprung up from the very beginning with huge leaves and thick colas! Nice purple hues and dense nugs! Would definitely grow again!

Weeks 15 - It’s Ready - The 1st Gorilla Glue Is Ready To Be Havrest, I Gave It 3 Weeks Of Flushing And The Trichomes Of The Top Heads Are Most Cloudy With A Few Clear And A Little Amber Trichomes And The Bottom Buds Are Mostly Cloudy With A Few Clear And The Sceny Is Still At It’s Peak But You could Tell It Was About To Head Over The Morning And Start To Take A Downright Spiral I Will Be Hanging It To Dry For 7-9 Days At A Temperature Of 70 Degrees and 60% Humidity. The Slower It Dries The Better.

Week 4 of flower and it’s been a week for the books. The males gizzed all over the females and we spent the better part of a week harvesting the males for pollen, then defoliating and spraying the pollinated females, then going full sanitize on the entire tent… (that part always sucks). Either way, they’re off to the seed making and generally showing a brilliant, yet subtle pink across most phenos. Gonna be pretty cool seeing how the colours develop on these👌. The fact that the pinks are prevalent amongst all plants is very encouraging. Still early for sure - but… potential for something special👍. Terp. Profiles are becoming quite pronounced now too. So far, we’ve got one that smells of a very sweet sorta pine in female #3 and a definitive baked berrry scent in female #1. The hope was always to balance out the earthiness of the Kush which is classic to the strain in terms of taste, just not overly tasty. Again, still early but we might’ve achieved that here on crossing🤞👌. All told and as long as we keep ‘em alive to the finish - we should have tons of seed and a well defined set of partially drilled down traits. Counting 3 discernible potential phenos so far and can’t wait to see what the clones reveal🤟. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Day 29 (7/15) - Fist day of Week 5 and of flowering. I’m looking forward to seeing how the Critical Purple does. Gave the plant a watering a day or two ago and will give another later this evening. Day 30 (7/16) - I gave the plants a light watering when the lights came on because it’s been so warm lately. The CP grew about 2 inches overnight and I had to do some super cropping to the top tallest nodes. After being under the lights for a few hours they were already standing back straight. I might need the net sooner than I realized. Slight stickiness and sweetish smell to fingers after super cropping. Day 32 (7/18) - I haven’t been keeping up with the diary but I have been taking pictures every few days. I gave the plant it’s first and only feeding today. You can see the dry amendments on top of the soil. Day 35 (7/21) - Haven’t been doing anything to the grow other than daily trellis adjustments and watering every other day with PHed Calmag water. I did remove about 5 big leaves near the top that were blocking the center of the plant.
