It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. La purple haze était vraiment plaisante à cultiver. Une des deux a eu un problème dès le début de croissance, et malgré tout, j'ai réussi à l'envoyer en floraison. Cela montre bien que les variétés de zamnesia sont très bien pour les débutants, elles sont très résistantes. La haze était de taille moyenne. Une odeur très épicée et terreuse, un vrai plaisir au nez. On voit bien que c'est une sativa, elle provoque de grosses crises de fou rire, la première fois que j'ai tiré dessus j'ai tiré trois taf et j'ai rigolé pendant 30 minutes, complètement incroyable. Très cérébrale, pleins d'idées qui nous passent par la tête, elle rend très énergique et n'a pas d'effet de détente sur le corps. Ne pas fumer en soirée avant d'aller dormir, plutôt en après-midi, j'ai beaucoup de mal à dormir si je l'utilise en début de soirée. Attention tout de même, elle provoque pas mal de parano je trouve, typique d'une sativa. En tout cas excellente variété pour aller marcher et profiter d'une belle après-midi. J'ai optenu 45g et 30g en sachant que j'ai eu pas mal de problèmes.

Smells on this bud are amazing! Very piney with hints of berries 😋 Not the biggest harvest, but that was expected seeing as this plant was grown in a 1 gal pot. None the less, I am happy with the results 😁

Hello everyone 😎 After 24hours in a glass of water with a few drops of hydrogen peroxyde all the seeds have germinate🌱🎢 They will grow under the new Mars Hydro FC1200 evo💥

Day 40: They got recoverd from overwatering. Leafs got darker because I gave them more nutrients, but gained early signs of slightly overfeeding ( Burnt tips on leafs). I had to boost them to fix it because there isn't much time with autoflowers. Now i only have to adjust my nutrient feeding with just 10 to 15% and its all good. They did stretch again, some growers love it but i think it is ugly and you will gain weak stems. I have to do something about the heat soon, because i want my buds compact and not fluffy. This will happen due lots of heat. I also have to start give them cal/mag, i saw first stages of deficiency. Not a problem when you are early with spotting it. Nice lovely buds so far Thats all for now Day 42: I have been defoliating alot to get the air between the plants. There are still some leafs and branches i want to get rid off, but i don't want them to stress out to much. Also i have killed of 23 smaller plants to make more space for the others. This is always painfull but stupid if you don't do this. If the plants didn't stretch that far due heat and low placed lights, this would not have been the case. I would still have alot of small nice plants. This was more the case for the gorilla's but it had to be said here as well since the Cherry Cola's will profit from it as well. See you guys next week!

Few days into week 7 and everything is coming along nicely starting to see some orange hairs in there too starting to get exciting!!

Strain: Chocolate Haze (Royal Queen Seeds) Medium: Coco bricks (Action budget bricks – hell yeah 💰) Light cycle: 12/12 from seed Grow Style: No training, no stress – just flow Grow Medium Prep: 500L of coco – never again in one go 😅 The Kickoff 🚀 This run started off wild and direct – no veg time, straight into 12/12 with Chocolate Haze. I wanted a quick turnaround and thought, hey, why wait? I germinated 14 seeds, hoping for at least 9 strong ladies. Ended up with 11 survivors – not bad! First few weeks were a bit chaotic: stretching due to low light (I tucked the seedlings under mature plants, which I do not recommend 😆), and the coco prep took way longer than expected. But hey, that's the game. Early Veg/Bloom — Lessons Learned pH: Started a bit high; some light green leaves at first EC: Too low at 1.3 — they weren't having it. Upped to 1.7 and then to 2.1 later Environment: New extractor dropped temps way down (25°C vs my usual 30°C). Thought it would help, but growth felt slower Coco quirks: They looked overwatered at times, but coco is tricky like that. Eventually, roots hit the bottom and they took off Around mid-March (3 weeks in), pistils showed up – officially the start of flower. I topped them once just before full bloom kicked in. Always a strange move, cutting healthy plants... but they bounced back beautifully. Nice and bushy now. Week 2–5 Flowering 🌸 These ladies are small but mighty. Not tall, but full of energy. The canopy is tight and even (except for one shorty), and they've been stretching like crazy — classic sativa move. Had to raise the lights twice in two days. I’ll probably do some defoliation soon to slow things down a bit. Environment is now dialed in: Temp: 30°C with lights on RH: Holding nicely in that humid sweet spot CO₂: Set to 500ppm (passive mostly, no full-on enrichment) Feeding is now solid, color has recovered beautifully, and the buds are starting to form nice stacks. I’ve kept it low-stress — no nets, no heavy training, just letting them do their thing. Observations & Setup Tweaks 🔧 Ventilation: Running the fan at just 30% now. Tent takes 18 seconds to vacuum seal, which tells me airflow is minimal – less CO₂ loss. CO₂ System: Minimal usage at 500 ppm. I’m not going all-out with gas bottles; it’s just there as a buffer. Structure: These Chocolate Haze plants don’t get tall, but they do fill out nicely. Perfect for a space where height is limited. Auto side note: One of the autos in the same tent is way taller, but less dense. Makes me appreciate the Chocolate Haze structure even more. Current Status (April 17) 📆 We’re deep into flower now — week 5, and it shows. Buds are swelling and resin production is kicking in. Nothing major to report (which is kind of the point of this grow — set and forget). Just a slight dry issue with one auto, which I adjusted on the Blumats. Besides that? Happy plants, happy grower. 🌞 Check the latest pics — they speak for themselves. Final Thoughts (So Far) 💭 This Chocolate Haze grow has been chill, efficient, and surprisingly hands-off. The direct 12/12 schedule really works when you're going for a fast cycle with minimal hassle. And even though I’m usually more into hybrids, this sativa-dominant lady is winning me over — the structure, the vigor, the smell… mmm. Now we wait for the real magic — the last few weeks of flower. Here we are with another exciting new product from Zamnesia, Gush Mintz. Remember that we are growing one plant worked with the techniques indicated and another left to grow without pruning to preserve its speed; in the previous/next diary you will find the other plant of the same strain. In this diary we find a plant worked with slightly different techniques, this time for a change and to be honest because I was doing a main lining and having broken a brunch I turned it into a plant with LST applied aggressively and the plant responded well, I also made a small break but it worked as an HST, to continue stressing I put some paper tape. Comparison is the salt of the experience, so the plant in the other diary will be treated very differently, go and see it to make a comparison. We started the Plagron fertilization program, we are in 100% organic configuration, the soil is made up of recycled Promix + 1/3 fresh soil + 10% Perlite + RQS Mycorrhizae Mix (4 g in the mix, 1 g under the small fiber pot). In the middle of the week the pre-flowering started so I decided to start the program for this phase: 1 ml/l of Power Roots - 1 ml/l of Pure Zym - 1 ml/l of Sugar Royal - 1 ml/l of Power Buds - 4 ml/l of Alga Bloom Remember the Green Sensation from the 3rd/4th week of flowering depending on the flowering speed or how you see the calyxes composing, when the calyx is in the swelling phase it is used. 2 Girls 1 Cup week 10?? Looks like WG still has a few weeks left on her. GC on the other hand... is technically already dead to me, I've properly mourned her loss. Just need to keep her out of the way (and alive). Day 63- my TDS meter was accurate the whole time.. had to dial it back up.. I'm an idiot.. but these girls have been rocking out at over a thousand for weeks now and not really showing signs of burn. Few tips here and there. Crank the P/K up in this week's feed. RES change tonight. Modified GHE late bloom aggressive feed. TAP water so there's no added N from the calmag needed with RO. Breakdown as follows: 5gal TAP water - 137ppm Micro- 33mL Grow- 35.5mL Bloom- 50mL RES totals after ph corrections [email protected]. ============================================================================================= Day 64- GC seems to have blown up since yesterdays stabbing.. i took a vid, which ended up being a little too long. didnt want to wait for it to upload so i canceled. may clip the part where i went psycho on GC main and upload later. she may get stabbed a few more times before this is all over. thinking about drilling a hole or two in WG within the last few days, and the 48hr dark before chop chop. (when the time comes of course) ============================================================================================= Day 65- I don't think I ever disclosed my tent is in a closet... vid tonight shows it. Also shows how much head space I have above it for a TALLER tent.. a 4x4x80 would fit this current space REAL nice.. could make em taller as well. One thing I need to think over before the next run. I did cut GC back some tonight. Was creating a shadow on WG, and I didn't want it smacking in the fan again. That got annoying quick the other night while trying to sleep. WG still fattening up. Top offs have been with bubbled/aged TAP. Brown spots on a few random leaves here and there. Checked tricomes tonight and were like 90% cloudy 10% clear. Hope they start to amber up within the next week. Haven't hit the A/C yet, and Temps are reaching 86! I can say that I have noticed less of an odor when opening the tent.
