This week I added a new controller to handle up to 8 functions. I installed a new heater, my old humidifier and some LED strips to the controller. Targeting a VPD at 1.0 day and night. Trying to keep the nutrient ppm under 900 and ph at 6.0 in the reservoirs. Ordered a second ph pen because I don’t trust my readings. Will be here by Thursday. Friday: Checked the ppm in the reservoirs and it’s at 1,000. Added more RO water with extra nitrogen to bring the ppm level down to 925. Saturday: I installed an updated AC Infinity controller 69 Pro Plus (controls 8 pieces of equipment) which allowed me to add a humidifier, corner LEDs and a heater to the controller. Overall I’m extremely impressed with this AC Infinity equipment. My VPD is within the range I want to achieve (.8-1.1). I programmed it to maintain 78 degrees and 67% humidity during the day, 73 degrees and 63% humidity at night. Charts posted also show the impact of an open tent compared to the closed environment. The heater is constantly pushing fresh air into the tent, so I don’t need to cycle the exhaust fan often. Rewired the tent again and moved the controller later that night. I mounted the controller on the wall. Added Mars Hydro UV/IR lighting to fill out all 8 slots on the controller. Sunday: I checked the ph in the reservoirs (6.8….i had filled it with 6.0 ph) and the ppm (1200 ppm…I had filled it with 900). So evaporation and possibly a mismeasurement of ph. I topped ff reservoirs with slightly stronger nutes and adjusted ph to 5.8 in the reservoirs. Poor magnesium absorption could be driving some leaf yellowing. Effective tomorrow, I’m switching over to Heads Formula which consistently feeds GH Flora series nutes at Micro (6ml/g), Bloom (9ml/g) and cal mag (3ml/g). Turned on the UV/IR lights for 3 minutes every 8 hours. I’m easing the plants up to 5 minutes every 6 hours which will provide the recommended 20 minutes of IR per day. This will help the plants stretch a little more. Monday: checked ph and ppm in reservoirs. 6.1ph and 880ppm. VPD remains stable except when I open the tent. Tuesday: checked ph (6.4) and ppm (880) in reservoirs. Added .5ml of ph down to two reservoirs. Still see slight yellowing between the veins but it’s not getting worse (might be improving). Adjusting ph down to 6.0 target might have solved this. The plants grew by 1-2” last night…..is the infrared light working already? Decided to mix up fresh nutes for the reservoirs following Heads formula. 6ml Micro and 9ml Bloom per gallon of RO water. Added 5 ml of CalMag too. Ending ppm was 1080 which is too high, so I diluted down to 880 with RO water. 6.0 ph. Wednesday: plants grew another .75 inches last night. I topped above the 5th node. Thursday: added RO water with heavy cal mag to reservoirs to increase amount of CalMag available.

1st major defoliation end of week 1 flower. Girls are looking all kinds of healthy. #1 is leaving #2 behind now in the stretch, root mass and overall look. Streching very nicely, almost doubled in size over 2 weeks.

I harvested at 30% amber trics..it snuck up on me fast, I assumed she was an 8 week strain at minimum but I was wrong..i don't take wet weight of buds so I'll update final weight in approx 10 days, happy growing!

Top dressed with some more soil. The top was looking depleted and just want to keep it from completely taking all the nutrients from the soil. Added a mix of power bloom with azomite and glacial rock dust. I watered in with some pure protein dissolved into hot water then added to the water I was using at diluted levels. The second watering they got this week was with molasses. which also does a good job of dropping the ph of my water to the perfect level and a little bit of Epsom salt because I ran out of my cal mag and also want the plant to have plenty of sulfur. Buds are looking cool and remind me of little pine trees. At first glance it seems like they are starting to foxtail but the buds are fattening once the new growth on top starts to expand more. the main colas are almost a foot long each, but hard to tell because the planetary buds around the main colas are blocking them from getting a good picture. Amazed by how frosty the sugar leaves and even some of the older fan leaves are. Her smells are mostly sweet and candy-like. got a little sneek peak of what her fade should look like from one of the leaves being severed partially with a nice yellow and purple. She put on a decent amount of weight this week but towards the end,I can tell she's starting to slow down. Looks like it will still bulk a little more but noticing fewer white and more orange hairs. hoping all my plants finish around 8-9 weeks. i want to try to harvest them all at the same time if i can.

Motherplant of this clone didn't give same buds as a clone. Shame I don't have mother plants anymore. I would recommend Durban Poison for everyone, I guess more people should feel this strain. This is my favourite sativa from 2019!

Week 8 Flower – Roller Coaster Haze (Zamnesia Seeds) The Final Act of a Beautiful Journey Here we are, Week 8 of flower, and the Roller Coaster Haze girls are at their absolute peak. It’s been an incredible journey from seed to this point — full of learning, adjustments, and evolution — and the girls are showing their gratitude with a breathtaking display. ⸻ Light Defoliation & Canopy Health This week, we performed a light defoliation, focusing mainly on yellowing and fading fan leaves. At this stage, the goal isn’t to push growth, but to maintain airflow and prevent moisture buildup, which can lead to bud rot or other late-stage issues. By selectively removing what the plant no longer needs, we’re allowing more light to penetrate the canopy and helping the buds finish strong and clean. The fading is beautiful — a sign that the plants are naturally consuming their reserves as they approach the end of their cycle. ⸻ Aroma, Density & Structure Each branch tells a story of energy and balance. The colas are dense and resin-packed, sticky to the touch, with pistils slowly darkening and curling inward. The aroma has deepened, becoming more earthy and hazy, with a sweet undertone that hints at the potency within. These are true haze beauties — towering, expressive, and powerful. Every part of the plant speaks of the care, patience, and intention behind this grow. ⸻ Feeding & Environment We have now completely stopped nutrient feeding. This week’s watering is plain, clean water only, measured at: • EC: 0.3 • pH: 6.8 – 7.2 The goal is to gently flush out any remaining salts and allow the plants to finish on what remains in the super soil. This natural fade encourages better flavor and cleaner results after harvest. Environmental conditions remain steady despite the high outdoor temperatures. With careful management through TrolMaster and Spider Farmer controls, we’re keeping: • Temperature: around 28°C • Humidity: 60–65% • VPD: approximately 1.3 Everything stays balanced and stable to allow the final ripening stage to unfold smoothly. ⸻ Light Adjustments – Simulating the End of the Season To mimic the natural end of the season, we’ve begun gradually lowering the white light intensity, while pushing the red, far-red, and UV spectrums to 100%. This spectrum shift signals to the plants that the cycle is ending, stimulating final ripening, color development, and resin production. The reds encourage energy transfer in the deeper parts of the canopy, while UV light helps enhance secondary metabolite production — the oils, terpenes, and resins that give Roller Coaster Haze her unique flavor and strength. ⸻ Reflections & Recap From seed to this stage, this run has been all about precision, patience, and experimentation. The Roller Coaster Haze responded beautifully to the Aptus + Plagron blend, the controlled environment, and the small adjustments we made each week. The natural fade is now in full display — leaves turning golden and soft while the buds continue to swell and frost over. Gorilla, gorilla, my problem child. The only one popping out of 5 but she is weaker than her roommates. She stays behind compared to them. But what can I do other than TLC, she has the best conditions, which are optimal in this grow room, also judging by the other two plants. Until I have a bigger operation, which in the current political climate, is not soon, where I can make mothers and clone them, breed my own strains, and root out runts like this, we do it like life. We play the hand as it is dealt to us and we love all our children the same... although this one is special. So not a genderfluid Silverback yet, but it ain't over till the voluptuous lady sings. We shall nurse this little runt until adulthood, who knows she might surprise us, she should have the mighty Gorilla Glue Number Fouh genes in there somewhere. Now come on out here and show daddy what you're made of... This week we spread out the leaves and branches, some leaf tucking and gentle LST, to prepare for some higher stress and super cropping today. Two days back we made the switch and set the lights to 12/12. Now the flowering stretch will begin, thus we bend the branches further outward in preparation for the canopy. When I do this I notice the branches are thick and sturdy, with no breakage at all unlike my previous grow, the gelato 33. I snapped some branches applying the super cropping and just normal bending with those. It seems like the fan (I didn't have a good option previous grow, hence the flimsier branches there) but also this lighting and soil regime are topnotch, asides from outdoor I haven't seen such lush bushiness yet, even on a more runt-like plant. This MarsHydro SP3000 is still performing great, such controlled temperatures, such an ocean of light. I only wish I started growing with this earlier. It is so well made, it oozes quality, I just want to touch it every time (also to check if it stays cool) and it is just sexy, slender, and compared to my other 300 watt light, a completely different spectrum and clarity. This light could signal to other galaxies. I sincerely recommend good sunglasses with this light. Only thing I'm adding is an infrared light Sunshine found. With this I'm going to simulate sunrise and sunset and try to prevent stress by easing the light in and out, like in nature. We are in flowering now, very excited to see what she will do here. What can she perform? Will she cover the net? Will she deliver gorgeous buds, like she is known to do? Exactly a week ago these five Sour Diesels were planted. The sixth plant you see in the pictures is a CousKush Auto that is being nursed for 2 weeks to then be taken care of by family. They germinated quickly, after less than 72 hours most cotyledons were fully open and the roots grew through the root cubes. At this point they were transplanted into 0.12L seedling bags filled with pre-buffered coco and perlite (saturated with PH'd RO water). They will stay in those to develop a good root structure for around a week before moving to 1L pots. They reacted decently to the transplant although the cotyledons curled down on some of the seedlings. I attribute that to the coco being too moist when they were transplanted. I waited to give them more water until day 5 to dry the coco out a bit. Day 5 is when I first watered them, using a 0.3 EC nutrient solution. They all get 8-10 ml every 24 hours now and seem to be doing great.

Hola amigo! Una semana espectacular ha pasado para esta hermosa planta. Apenas pasaron 25 días de floración hicimos una pequeña defoliación para mejorar la circulación de aire y ella lo agradeció con una cobertura de tricomas extra en los días siguientes. El pH se mantiene en 6.4 y todos los riegos son con nutrientes, ella no desperdicia nada! La cepa es muy resistente y fácil de cultivar. No pasa desapercibida en ningún aspecto ya que tiene un aroma exquisito, tonos ácidos y dulces que recuerdan arándanos y frutos rojos maduros. Una estructura impecable y muy buen engorde de los cogollos principales así como de sus satélites 💚 Muchas gracias a Super Sativa Seed Club por esta increíble genética y a todos ustedes por estar aquí y formar parte de la comunidad de cultivadores más genial que haya conocido. Everyone is looking pretty healthy however the bud development looks closer to week 3/4 imo and I really don't like the node spacing on plant #1, I wish we had limited some of her stretch sooner. I don't see large intact colas in that plant's future, probably long bud spiraled branches but its not the end of the world lol...We gave a tomato cage to the freak mainline for some added stability (she's definitely going to need it). All buds are beginning to frost and look as if they'll be coated by the end!! Everything about this grow was amazing! She was a late shooter meaning she was quite small up to the flower stage then after defol she went crazy and sprouted so many sites and buds were huge, frosty and dense! Best of all was the smells during! Like candyland had landed in my nostrils! Honestly no regrets with this one! I have the buds curing in a 3L jar with 62% Boveda packs! Shall add a smoke and ash report once the buds have fully cured! I’ve added a few photos since cute! This bud is fantastic tastes and smells like fruits and yummyness literally all the way through and it’s so strong! Has pineapple cube kinda flavour too! Loved growing her!

Everythings ok lettin em do their thing. 4 weeks from switch but technically 3rd week of flower. Just a waiting game hoping for swell soon.more updates on photos to follow
