Switched to flowering . Plants are making their final stretch before producing buds.

This week was an absolute nightmare. For five days straight, our residual-current circuit breaker (RCD) kept tripping multiple times a day until I finally discovered—regretfully—that the dehumidifier was the cause. As a result, the ladies will now have to go without a dehumidifier for an indefinite period, which is leading to very high humidity levels in the basement. today she got transplanted into bigger pot. Light hits with around 450 PPFD

Getting ready to chop her down today. She's been in the dark a few days now...what a beast tho. Not sure ill be able to trim her entire plant and hang whole due to how big she is.. Update: Harvest complete. 2#8oz. She did foxtail on me, but I guess that's what happens when you let her grow and grow 😆. She's a huge unruly Medusa.. I expected nothing less!! Lol 😂😂00

As always it's just a pleasure to grow this sativa dominant strain which definitely reminds me of a great indica with her extremely fruity and tropical sweet terpenes, very happy to have her in my garden and to be able to smoke such a high quality strain once again, hope you guys have enjoyed as much as me!

The 7th week started. Based on the Breeder's description it is supposed to be the final week for The Gelato Cookie D'ohpe so it should be ready to harvest. It is my first grow but I can say it needs a minimum of 2 weeks to be ready. I think 10 weeks at least. I have checked another diary with the same strain and it took 10-12 weeks to be finished. I placed the Purple Punch 38 hours Darkness so from now I will give 14 hours darkness and 10 hours light schedule to start flowering. They are in the same tent so I take out in the morning to be in darkness, and put back at night. I did reset the timers. Water: 125 ml 2x daily each plant so altogether 250ml a day for 2 plants. I raise up every week with 50 ml a week per plant. Fertilization the same amount of water the same acacia honey around 2 big spoons and bat guano 1 teaspoon per 1-liter water and I fertilize it 3 times a week every second day on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, plus one-half day like on Saturday once. So from today (Thursday), I started forcing the feminized strain Purple Punch to flower also after 45 days from germination. This week not too much things to say. The Gelato Cookie D'ohpe stopped growing just added an extra 5 cm to its height. Hopefully it focuses on the bigger buds creation. Purple Punch grew an extra 2 cm. End of the week Purple Punch is 37 cm, Gelato Cookie D'ohpe is 70cm.

What a beautiful strain Orange Hill Special is, nice and bushy, great internodal spacing, sturdy and healthy. Happier and happier with how this grow is going. The less beautiful parts on top are my doing, my blind as a bat FIM destroyed half the top of the plant. More patience next time... The super soil is still performing great and I´m pushing up the dimmer to get the ladies used to more light, very carefully because leaves are folding every time. Some of you might be happy to find my European recipe/shopping list for super soil. I tried to make it with widely offered products throughout Europe. Feel free to use it and elaborate on it. If one product is not available in your country, please check the brands at the bottom, which might be available in your country, and substitute. The only thing one could add to the recipe (which I did but forgot in the shopping list) is some Epsom salt. Fed them again with my permaculture tea, all seem to flourish and smells are starting to come from the plant, with that same distinct dankiness I had in earlier grows with this tea. See the germination page and other diaries for more info on my Perma tea. Now they were big enough, some might even say too big, to start the real training. I always love to give them a little bend the week before, to get used to the idea. With some sterilized bamboo sticks I pushed the plants down to expose their sexy undersides. On day 1 the PH of the reservoir is 6.1. I changed out my reservoir. My tallest cola is 3.25" from the light. Lower colas are mostly 7"-9" from the light. I'm still getting runoff on my right plant at night maybe the low humidity drying out the pots too quick? I decided to lower the flow rate by 1 carrot (total of 2 carrots tightened since first runoff event). The leaves are starting to produce more trichomes :) On day 2 the PH of the reservoir was adjusted the PH from 6.2 to 6.1. My tallest cola is 3.25" from the light. Lower colas are mostly 7"-9" from the light. I'm starting to smell terps when the leaves are rubbed it and smells good :) On day 5 I raised my reservoirs PH from 5.8 to 6.2. I increased my blumats flow by 2 carrots. I dropped my new light on my plants splitting the trunk of the right plant. I used duct tape on the wound and the plant seems okay so far. I smashed a few top colas accidentally and hope they will be OK. I have decided to install the new light after this run when there are no plants in the box. On day 6 The reservoirs PH is 6.2. I installed my new AC infinity carbon filter and increased inline airflow to keep up with smell and humidity/transpiration.. The plants are smelling very nice. The trichomes are increasing and the buds are growing in size. So far the damaged plant shows no negative consequences 😅 On day 7 the reservoirs PH was 6.0 so I adjusted it up to 6.3. I increased the flow rate of my blumat on the right plant by one more carrot bringing it back to its original state before there was a runaway. I turned off my dehumidifier and will monitor my humidity/temperatures going forward.
