D61 (21/01/2021): First day for week 5 of flowering. It's incredible how the buds are forming and getting bigger. It easily doubled (if not more) in size in the last 7 days. Since beginning of bloom, I normally gave water every other days. I make sure the soil is dry and the pots feel light when I lift them before giving any water. But it's not ideal cause it means that the plant drank all the water at his disposal and maybe it missed some. I will try a different watering schedule by giving water every 36 hours instead of every 48 hours. I will still make sure the soil his not wet and the pot not heavy (soil full of water) when I will give water. At this stage, they need a lot of nutrients to produce big buds. I will give nutrients every other feeding and only Max Minerals the others. Today I gave 1/2 of the recommended dose of Max Minerals. - temp: 24-26C light ON ; 21-22C light OFF - water: PH6.3 , 329PPM , less then a gallon each - run off: PH6.9 and 1090PPM for Glue Gelato ; PH6.9 and 940PPM for Banana Kush - RH: 50% light ON ; 48-49% light OFF D62 (22/01/2021): Nothing special for today. I think it is time to start flushing. I will only give tap water at proper PH for the next 10-14 days and keep looking at trichomes. I consider also reducing air temperature and humidity for the rest of the grow. Glue Gelato is getting very frosty! She has approximately 50% white pistils and 50% brown pistils but she keep growing new pistils. What a difference a week makes, now starting week 4 and moved them up into their final pots now that I have some space in the tent and they are currently under 600w dual spec and a 315w daylight, I have topped 5 of the 6 but left one as it looks like it’s a stocky plant anyway, they all look like they should be impressive plants so far and visibly growing by the day 😊

Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great weekend. The ladies had another great week, I got the Durban Nights, Red Hot Cookies, and Sundae Driverr's second toppings completed on day 26, and I got the second toppings done on the Green Crack and Bubble Runtz on day 27. Right now I have 4 mains on each plant, and I will top each one this week, probably in the next 3-4 days which will leave with me 8 mains. So the mainlines will be completed during week 5, and I plan to flip to flower around week 7. I am still seeing a couple holes on the leaves of the Sundae Driver, but I have treated her twice with neem oil and I don't see any new holes since the last application and I can't see any bugs even with magnification. I am still not sure if it was a bug issue or just a genetic thing. Either way I am not too concerned at this point because they all seem to be very healthy. I am still feeding GH nutrients, silica, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will transition to flower nutrients approximately one week after flipping to flower. I have found that it is important to continue feeding plenty of Nitrogen through the stretch. The only way I would transition sooner is if I was running out of vertical space. Still very pleased with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent. Flushtime... 😃 last week started and I will flush them for 4-5 days. Dont want to change water 2 times a week Trichomes and buds looking good. Next week harvest 👊😋

Shorter plants 13”, larger is 18”. Beneficial nematodes and the sticky trap seem to have handled the gnat issue. I’m continuing to use nematodes after watering, and the traps will remain. I did a little trimming but probably won’t do much more defoliation until the stretch is over. This will probably be my last shower grow. I think it makes more sense to get a bigger space like a tent or build one and some more lights. It’s getting cramped in there. It’s also starting to reek. I water about every 2-3 days using a 1/2 gallon jug to mix my nutes. I’m keeping ph close to 6.5 and ppms between 600-800. I don’t use nutes in every watering—it depends on how the plants look. Going well except for the cbd critical cure. Few brown spots. It should rebound with nutes added at 1/8 strength.

BAD APPLE WEEK 7 | DIRTY BIRD GENETICS The color on these buds are beautiful, you see new growth swell in light green spots and within 24 hours goes to a deep velvet color like pictured.

Blue gelato 41 took a little work to figure out her likes and dislikes but it was definitely worth the wait , the smoke is smooth and potent as hell, She seems to need a lot of light, the tops by far and away blow the lower growth out the water, I won't make the mistake of having her in a corner of the tent again knowing her potency and flavour 😎👌💪👍 Enjoy this girl if you give her a try growmies 😎
