This drought is wild, 300mm rain deficit around the island. Hot, dry, no clouds or rain in sight for the next month. While this is awful for everything else, this gal is living life to the fullest. Irrigation up to 3hr of drip every 5 days and that is it for this week. Still amazed by the water retention with this Hugel. Whats everyones thoughts on defoliation outdoors? I've kept it fairly light this year, loving the shape, and while canopy looks bushy from front, it's quite clean inside. My topping from 2 weeks ago is barely noticeable, this stretch coming into flowering will easily get her past 9 feet. The combined fimming and topping has really helped this shape. Rain at the end of the season is always a problem, smaller buds is more desirable to me. Nearly always use my herb to make FECO for Gummies, so small is better. I've ran a major support pole through the middle, and I end up using string to internally support all the branches to the center post. Gives me much better control over shape and support. I don't have a ton of room for a trellis so this is easier.

Did some defoliation to get ready to flower. Took off a ton of huge fan leaves. Don’t really think I removed enough, honestly. Removed a couple lower, small branches and chopped the top 4 nodes of my tallest plant. It was getting too tall for the tent, and is now the same height as the others. Put the cuttings in some rapid rooters with rooting hormone. Will hopefully have 6 clones total!

Top fed power bloom and glacial rock dust again. The pot really filled out nicely, great stacking on the Banana Jealousy. I'm excited for the weeks to come. Day 14.

I call this girl "Freckles" because of the way she's fading. She's like a sweet gas rn I'm looking forward to the way she'll cure. Her smell indicated to me that she's goin to be a wild card, you can't really predict how she'll mature through cure, but you know it's gonna be great.

Finally back to the garden after 4 weeks away. They were really in need of love by the time I got back to take care of the garden. BIG NEWS! Now running a California Lightworks Solarxtreme 500 as my main light. Will add a second SX500 light into the room once I start flower. Hit the LST on the again and just making sure they are getting fed and lots of love. Will have to push back my starting flower by another few weeks. See how the recover

Shown substantial grow over the last week. Doubled in height. Thinking I should have used a bigger grow bag as it's only in a 2 gal bag but it's already flowering so I won't transplant now. Starting to see a lot more pistil and calyx development. Gave the plant it's first feeding at the beginning of the week with a general plant and vegetable fertilizer. Noticed a richer green in the leaves since being fed.

She's looking fantastically beautiful and healthy, I'm gonna move her into her new home on next coming week, let's see how she performs!

This is the fourth week of growing. These flowers are amazing. I've germinated them the same way, the same time with the same conditions, they got the same amount of soil, light, nutrients, but the difference between them is huge. The tallest plant is 100 cm, the middle is aprox. 50 cm, and the smallest is 15 centimetres. I have never seen any seeds with the same genetics and such a huge difference between each plant. The plants got blooming nutrients for the second time, except the smallest one, she still gets veg nutes. Unfortunately I've got fruit flies again, so I am protecting the plants with some glue traps. I had to buy some Secret Jardin Monkey Clip fans, because the old fan did not fit into the wardrobe. The wardrobe is actually a pretty good growbox, the only disadvantage is that it can't fit more than 3 plants.

Yesterday I discovered that, in order to change my timer, I didn't put the clock back onto it. Now they had 3 hours more light on the third day of flowering. Exactly the kind of oopsies this grow really doesn't need. But it happened and all back on a normal schedule, but I hope the OHS en GG4 aren't affected by it too much... One accidental re-vegging is more than enough for a year. Also, these sensitive strains can hermie on me for lesser reasons so from now on I'll be checking for male signs daily. The XTraKush is performing as advertised, with enormous stretch, these plants can go 10 ft up according to the breeder. So I'm tying them down and managing this to fill out the space. With all the stuff going on, this 'underdog' strain might even prove most resilient, when all is said and done. They seem to respond really well to the SP-3000 light and If you are in the market for a new light, consider this option from Mars Hydro. Fattening and stacking! That’s what’s up 😎🔥 The girls are doing well, no issues other than the tip burn (went a little hard on the nutes then dialed it back) I was very busy this week and had minimal time for the garden, the automation is key for success! I really should look into an auto water system to complete the process, but I love the time I spend and watering is one of those times you can get up close and personal and really view your plant and how it is doing from top to bottom. Only about 3 weeks left give or take, I can’t wait. The terps coming from these plants have kicked it up a notch and are intense! Like walking through a pine forest… that also has weed growing 👃🤤🌲, lol. Started with the Bud Candy from Advanced nutrients for the Mag/Sulphur and to help with the terpenes and fattening. I had impressive results with my last GG Autoflower using this product in the last 3 weeks, hopefully we can get a similar result. 🤞

Great strain to grow. Have done outdoors a few times so had an idea that it would take well to SCROG but wow really even canopy and all the buds are nice and solid. Trimming was a sticky operation, so so much resin and red hairs. Looking forward to smoking it! Really really happy with the yield
