Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. This week was good, Did the transplant from 7.5L/2Gal to 28L/7Gal, Stared to do some LST but the main stem broke on two "blue and Red" of the three plants. Kinda sucks but a bit to aggressive, on the third plant "yellow" I also used LST just not as strong and got the shape and placement I was looking for. Will have to wait for the others to heal and then I can try again. IDK how long it will take, but I'll give it a full week. Sucks as the tips will be getting more light then the others. I also ran out of soil so had to make up a half batch as well to top off the pots, got about 8L leftover for transplanting the peppers and what not, tents so full I had to remove the clones and one smaller plant. They are growing in a window now. The extras where Gaia Green All Purpose 4-4-4, Gaia Green Power Bloom 2-8-4, Gaia Green Insect Frass 3-2-4, Gaia Green Seaweed Extract 0-0-17, Bokashi Grains, Epsom Salts, Yeast Powder, Fluvic Acids, Enzymes, Silicon and Multiple Microbes. PH adjusted really low as the amendments have a lot of rock dusts and such, wanted them to be broken down by the time the roots reach em. Watered in with 4L on each container, Should be ok for the first few days, will need to judge how they are doing in a bit and see if their roots are colonizing the new area. no idea how the clones will do outside the tent, Still have them in a plastic bag till I can see roots in the containers they are in. Checking about once a week. My goal is to veg this out for another 3-4 weeks and top it one last time they switch to bloom with a SROG net, should have good coverage and lots of cola sites per plant. Day 1 of week 3 flower loads of small buds everywhere will be finishing flower burst feed end of this week then starting the pk9-18 should start seeing some big buds on there soon. Starting to smell decent and seeing loads of growth on the buds everyday!

Week 4 flower: all 3 plants left in the tent are pollinated - it's hard to tell to what extent but bud formation has slowed down 😞. Middle plant (Mimosa Evo #2) is definitely the strongest pheno and its trichomes smell like tangerines which is really nice! We did an intense defoliation on Day 24 of flower in an attempt to lower humidity and increase airflow but RH is still dangerously high at 80% because of the current weather. Also gave them a bloom PK top dressing on day 26 because canna coco does not provide a PK boost in their coco nutrient line. Hope to see the buds dense up over the next few weeks without too many seeds ...

Start of week 2 🌱🍁 Unfortunately some poor advice led to a nutrient overload. 350-400 ppm is far to much for a seedling so back to 150 for a other week until I start adding tarantula. Maybe other strains can handle it but the peyote didnt like it. See you in a couple of days 🌱🍁❤️ Watermelon zkittlez autos looking good. Harvested at day 76, after 72h of darkness. Very good yield! 3.3 pounds of dry buds + 1 pound of trim The 2 keepers yielded 366 and 342g of premium quality smoke. Very uplifting and energizing high :) Love it!

Die letzten Wochen vor der Ernte waren echt noch ein auf und ab der Gefühle. Das Wetter, sehr feucht und kalt, hat es mir leider echt schwer gemacht. Budrod in einer Cola der Pineapple Express 😮‍💨 Die Cola stand deutlich im Windschatten, deshalb hoffe ich, dass sich der Pilz nur in dem Mikroklima ausbreiten konnten, die Sporen sind aber leider überall. Jetzt hängt alles zum trocknen und ich muss die Buds genau untersuchen, später bei trimmen werde ich ganz genau jeden Bud mir von Innen anschauen. Außerdem ist mir die Lemon Orange deutlich abgekackt. Die krasse Geldfärbung kam innerhalb von zwei Tagen. Ich glaube es hat mit einer trockenen Phase mit hängenden Blättern kurz zuvor zutun, in der ich 1-2 Tage zu spät gegossen habe. Hat das Bodenleben wohl garnicht verkraftet und ist gekippt. Trotzdem hat sie einen echt intensiven süßlich Zitronenduft. Klein aber fein würd ich zu meinen Buds sagen. Update nach dem ersten Tasting. Mein absoluter Favorit aus dem Grow. Geschmacklich sanft wie der Duft, liegt mir total. Werde sie aufjedenfall wieder growen.

This week I have finally moved in to flower. I lollipoped the ladies on 4/20, after a day they seemed to be unstressed so I flipped them to 24 hr darkness and then 12/12 cycles.

Saddest week by far! 😞 Feeling like a bad dad smh should’ve got her a new home sooner than later. Don’t go for the deal in the end all the time, stick with what you know! “This is the lesson I learned this week.” Not many pics this week due to my disappointment in myself. She got way to close to LEDs and in some spots she was touching the diodes. 🤦‍♂️🏿 Burnt spots. Will be giving her a lot of TLC from hear on out. Will she bounce back?!?! 9/10: Bigger tent finally arrived! Tried ordering from Growbuds.com the Spider Farmer Grow Tent 2x4, paid for 2 day shipping. Wasted a week waiting for it before merchant advised the item would not be shipped til September 17th and I would’ve had to wait 4-5 business days for delivery. SMH. Thank goodness for Amazon Prime! Die Woche 2 der Blüte haben alle 3 Ladys ordentlich an Höhe zugelegt. Alle haben sehr schöne Blütenansätze die auch schon einen lieblichen Duft verströmen💚 Mit dem Wetter hatte ich relativ Glück. Das Unwetter zog hier vorbei, nur 2 Tage ohne Sonne und wenig regen. Was aber auch weniger gießen mit sich brachte. Jetzt stehen die Ladys wieder seit 3 Tagen in der Sonne und entwickeln sich prächtig. Es gab 1× an Tag31/10F 1g/L BioEnhancer von GreenHouseFeeding. Je Ladys gab es ca 500ml mit einem ph-Wert von 6.7. Ansonsten hab ich die Töpfe angehoben und nach Bedarf etwas nachgegossen. 19.9 5th veg week done and still all rocking healthy and almost ready for flowering stage. I can't grow these much bigger space is the issue here. I decided to go jungle style this round and see how it goes. I'll see if I'll put netting in there to help with spacing.. One week and I'll flip to flower if not sooner let's see.. I removed some damaged leafs and lower parts also. These pics are day prior to that. Blue Fire's are about the same height other one is clearly more bushy at this stage. The New 's have pretty similiar structure. Other one is little smaller and it got topped one node earlier too. I think the size of these will determine when I start flowering.
