05/27/2021 Its been a while but all is well, the red light only seems to have encouraged lots of new growth. But I think I'm going to stick with 25-50% blue spectrum and 100% red for the finish. I'm kind of disappointed that she has no distinguishing smell, but she was bred for resistance to PM specifically. All the good stuff will come once i have stabilized consistent PM resistance. (Work in progress) Then the good stuff will be worked in..... If needed. Ps. I do believe it will likely be 12+ weeks of flowering to finish (Hope she has a racy/trippy sativa side) fingers crossed🙏

This was the last week of flowering and therefore I stopped giving any nutrients for a good FLUSH. This is very important in order to avoid a harsh smoke later when the plants are dried, because any nutrients left in the plant will burn your throat and the weed will hurt while you smoke it. Both Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants have developed well and carry hefty top buds on each side branch and also the main cola. The lower regions also carry buds, but those are a little more fluffy and not so big and dense as the top buds. Every bud is COVERED IN TRICHOMES and the plants glisten in the light, they are FROSTY AS HELL! The plants have a STRONG AROMA now, which is sweet and peachy with hints of sandalwood. They smell ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS and I cant wait to try the dried end-product. All in all I can only recommend this strain, its not the biggest yielder, but definitely delivers connoisseur grade weed. Hats off to Mat from House of the Great Gardener in Canada, he has made another GREAT cross and I hope he will release this variety soon! 👍😍😎

I was told to never judge a strain purely off it's THC percentage. To smell a plant, and what your nose picks out is generally the strain that will jive the best with the endocannabinoid system in your body. This strain exemplifies that. It's only around 17% but the high is amazing. An under-rated strain for sure. Very easy strain to grow. Although the same strain, one looked pretty different and was much frostier despite getting the exact same treatment from seed to chop.

Hey peeps! I have now started lowering the nutrients and the PPM is 1200 on average but I intend on lowering it in the next couple of days in order to start flushing her later next week. She keeps popping out bud sites all over the bottom even though we did trim her in the first couple weeks. I have decided that, when I do harveserst her, i'm going to harveerst her in three stages to maximise the yeild and get that light to the lower small bud sites over the next couple of weeks. Well it finally happened, the girls have outgrown the 4x4! Was mid week and was having a hard time keeping humidity below 65%. Thought of defoliating, but can't keep doing that weekly or it will shock them sooner than later. So I decided to move the front left plant to the 3x3 under the Photontek SQ300W, giving the girls in the 4x4 some much needed breathing room. Set about retraining the plants to maximise space in the big tent, and then flattened out the lonely girl in the 3x3. Crazy enough the 4x4 still looks full by end of week, and the one by itself is getting close to filling the 3x3! This could be a pretty big grow by the time we finish 🤞. Have the solo plant running on the older Autopot valves with 6mm hose, and already had one clogging issue. Seems really early on, in past would take 2-3 weeks so thinking maybe I didn't have the lines 100% clean to start. Either way easy fix just blow out the clog and flush the lines with a liter or so and back in business. Always remember to flush the on/off valve as well as the main valve in the tray. Otherwise raised the lights in 4x4 to their max height (5" from roof) and took all the slack out of the cables to keep them off the lights. Adjusted the ties on last day of the week, but things seem pretty set now in the big tent so will just be widening out the lone girl once she grows a bit more. I'm sure by end of week that tent will be packed as well!

Today I switched the light to the flowering phase. The light is now on for 12 hours. All plants were fertilized with Hesi Bio Bloom. The Tropical Marker and the Plurple Kush each received 2 liters of water, and the Pink Gelato received 1 liter. I trimmed off some large leaves. I hope they have a smooth transition into flowering. Day 42: The girls are growing well. The Purple Kush and Pink Gelato received 2 liters of water with Hesi Bio Bloom and some Biobizz Calmag today. I dimmed the light to 60%. The Pink Gelato is catching up a bit, but is very small in comparison. Day 43: They're all still growing well. The tropical marker has been given 2 liters of water with hesi bio bloom and biobizz call mag. I've raised the lamp a bit higher. Here you can see how the stems of the plants have developed; the pink gelato has grown like crazy. The humidifier from Spider Farmer does a great job! Day 47: The girls look good; the first signs of flowering are visible on the Tropical Marker and the Purple Kush. I also defoliated them; it was definitely too much, and they thanked me a day later with preaching leaves. Unfortunately, the Pink Gelato didn't tolerate the topping well and only developed one shoot. I then removed this shoot. Afterward, I watered the Tropical and the Purple with 2 liters of water mixed with fertilizer and Calmag at a pH of 6.3. I set the ventilation to 50%.

4/1/25 Welcome to another week and Thank you to @Zamnesia and @Plagron for the genetics and the chance to participate in the contest. These are beautifully tall plants. I have had to spray with lost coast plant therapy and some Safer brand insecticidal soap because of creepy crawlies such as mites of some sort. 4/7/25 i shoved everysingle plant into my main tent. it has a humidifier and controls and all the goodies. the plants that have been struggling were in a separate tent without a humidifier or even an exhaust fan. and i think that may have had something to do with the issues. im really hoping that it isnt something that can spread to other plants because ive shoved 5 - 5 gallon pots in 2.7x2.7 grow tent. but hoping the environment is more friendly for them during the last half of The pistils have changed colors because of the spray but everything else is looking nicely. Super tall and super thin leaved plants but the buds are very tight and i imagine will be fairly dense. some of the plants have decent cola stacking of maybe 6+ nodes Today i top dress with 3tsp of Bloom, 1Tsp of Microbe Charge and 1Tsp of Bloom Booster. 4/6/25 R3 is producing some giant buds. The lower buds are twice as big as some of runtz plants. They all smell super fruity

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. 03/27/22 Plant one is recovering amazingly thinking of starting a little low stress training. Plant two has started to show slight signs of nutrient burn and has not grown as fast as plant one but I think I caught and corrected the problem in time.( Fingers Crossed)

Day 95 / FL day 15, Gave both plants a heavy defoliation to allow light into all bud sites. I think I'm pushing my luck with the amount of stress I've been giving these plants. But I also think they can take it. Only time will tell. Day 98 / FL day 18, Plants have recovered well after heavy defoliation. Lots of new leaf growth. Hopefully this will help to increase nug size. Day 101 / FL day 21, Topped dressed plants with a 3/4 inch layer of living soil for a little bit of extra nutrients. Waiting until week 5 of flower to add another round of Gaia Green dry amendments.

This week has been great ,today is day 78 and the girls are just doin their thang , 1 looks ready for flush already and the rest look about another longer then flush for them aswell,, can’t wait to see how these girls finish out over the next couple of weeks 😍!! Day 43 - Had a full water change and now running RO ( Reverse Osmosis) Water. Not topped up any nutrients yet just straight RO water as I've defoliated the girls and took off a lot of the excess foliage and sites i thought won't be getting much light. The reason for not adding nutrients straight away was because they have already had a bit of stress due to defoliation and them trying to uptake nutrients at certain temperature ranges and pH will add to it. So just RO water pH'd to about 5.7/5.8. After 12-24 hours have passed I'll add nutrients again. Smells very strong in here now and getting paranoid lol. They grow by the day and get frostier each time i open the tent. Until the next time people. Day 45 - close up bud shot of one of the girls lowers and a few colas. Girls seem to be happy with the RO water which makes me feel as though i should of been running it earlier for sure. EC has dropped, so i know the girls are feeding uptaking nutrients. i went to work like 2-3 days not coming home and she is nearly dry out to dead but luckily i came back in time and fix it.
