Hello Growmies, Week 3 for our Watermelon Candy by Zamnesia is unfolding with promise as we observe their transition through pre-flower. Opting for low-stress training over topping, we're guiding their growth gently to maximize their potential. The plants have gracefully reached our SCROG, and with two already skillfully trained, they are demonstrating adaptability and robustness. Through the canopy, we see an even spread of foliage, indicating that our LST approach is on point. The structure of the plants is sturdy, showing that the careful maneuvering through the SCROG mesh has been well received. The greenery is lush, leaves are perked up, reaching for the light—signs that our Watermelon Candy plants are in their element and thriving. Our environmental management has mirrored the successful strategies implemented with our Epic Buzz and Red Banana Pudding strains. Daytime conditions are meticulously controlled, with the Tent-X system maintaining VPD within the ideal range for healthy plant activity. However, as we've noted with our other strains, our nighttime VPD control presents a challenge. The data indicate a discrepancy in maintaining optimal humidity levels when the lights are off, suggesting that our current setup is not fully regulating the environment during these crucial hours. The intention to integrate the Smart Mars Hydro fan into the Tent-X system is a move towards rectifying this issue, with the aim to achieve a seamless 24-hour environmental control. The transition to this enhanced system will ensure that our Watermelon Candy plants receive the same level of consistent care throughout their entire growth cycle. Their current robust state and the proactive steps we are taking to fine-tune their environment have set a strong foundation for the weeks to come. Day 21 - Past week or so was rough (drooping leaves), which recovered during the night period. I figured it was either light or heat. Turns out the lights were way to bright (brown tips, bleaching leaves, drooping leaves). Turned off the 300 watt LED. Turned the Two 75 watt LEDS TO 40% plant is now stretching out nicely. Will turn light up slowly once stretch looks good. Happy New Year! Day 22 - Stretch looks good turned lights up 5% and leaves stopped stretching so back to 40%. Day 23 - Everything is resolved. Lights were way to bright. Caused the plant to stay short and brown tips. Reduced lights by 60% and now it’s beginning to stretch a little during the day and a lot at night. Added nutes back in and reduced the water to 2 cups per day. Day 25 - added 5% on lights. Stretching nicely. Manage vertical growth with filling out using the lights. Day 26 - looking good increased water to 12oz per day. Day 27 - lights up 5% back down 5%. I leave it alone now. Couple gnats flying around. Not sure if it is a problem?

Week 11 complete. It’s been another week of just watering every other day. One of the girls is almost ready for a flush. The other two still have a couple weeks to go but they keep getting bigger and bigger buds. Can’t wait to chop one of these girls down I can almost feel it. As usual if any comment or tips please let me know.

I did a major defoliation and she took it perfectly…Her smell is slightly increasing as matures.

Der EC-Wert ist mit 2,3 glaube ich etwas zu hoch, aber dagegen mache ich nichts. Die anderen Pflanzen im Turm gedeihen prächtig. --------------------------- The plant has had a growth spurt in height. The pH value is now constant at 5.5 and I have added more fertilizer. I think the EC value is a little too high at 2.3, but I'm not doing anything about that. The other plants in the tower are thriving.

week 3, at day 21 I started to defoliate. needs more airflow around colas. This is the start of defol, will clean and prune as needed next week. Stretching has slowed and colas are starting to stack. Ran a sort of modified manafold into the scrog. "V" on the left has 15 tops from 4 main stalks, she was topped to 4th node early on. "Blue nemo" was topped to the 3rd node early, she has 18 tops after the week 3 prune of the week lowers who couldnt make it up to the canopy. I left some popcorn buds down low that have began to develop, will throw these in the ice water hash after harvest.

So... it happened Because of the lack of space and poor light I decided to defoliate them a bit.. No water the whole week, as the soil was still quite humid

Por dónde empezar, las flores son bien compactas , y van repletas de resina, tienen tonos por dentro muy bonitos, y tiene un aroma súper dulce aunque engañar engaña porque saber sabe más tropical y cremosa. Es muy sencilla de cultivar, es de ciclo bastante corto aunque también si le dais una semana más no pasa nada agradecer se agradece al final. I made a mistake by defoliating this strain too heavy. I made a diary of a clone From this plant that i also Now started flowering so if u want to see better results go look at it

I’ll start by saying I wasn’t going to but ended up defoliating today because I had to, there is so much vigor I had to free up the space to allow air to pass for better air circulation and light penetration! It’s been 7 days since I flipped and the girls are raging into flower and stretching so well, no laggy branches, just thick sturdiness!

The plant have a problem with sciaridi.

I’m happy to be here at this point. Hoping In these few weeks these ladies start to thicken out. Sundae Batter is sticky sweet as hell. Bubbles smells so good, just stomping up my nostrils.
