|»» LOG DISCLAIMER: Not intended as a grow guide. Grow log entries are usually posted 3 weeks later and are for my learning reference. ««| Introduction - Week 22 Summary - Ensign's log, stardate 17584.1, Been an interesting week in the garden.. At the beginning of the week, decided to increase the soil moisture level a bit. This was huge mistake.. Upgraded the reservoir and raised the height by 2ft. Also refreshed the lung room’s carbon filter. Bud growth was swelling up beautifully. But growth started to droop so switched the soil moisture back, but it was too late. The damage was already done. By then end of the week, lost TKO.. Heady OG is still recovering, but I think she’ll be okay. There were even issues in the veg tent and discovered that two watering units were malfunctioning. Thankfully this issue was fixed and by the end of the week all mothers are back to looking healthy and are thriving! Also gave away the two spare Heady OG clones and been tending to rest with basic RO waterings as needed. More so on the positive side, finally have all that I need to begin my journey into tissue culture and plan to begin soon! Also, even though TKO was lost in the flower tent (damnit Ensign), she is still alive and thriving in the veg tent! So yea. A lot happened this week. Both good and really bad.. Despite the issues, my ganja journey has still just begun and will continue to grow until I succeed. Everything is impossible… Until it’s not. Anyways. Onwards to next grow week. This particular pheno grows like a tree in veg and her main stalk is already the thickest of the lot. Nice! --- Also glad the newer moms are rooting and getting larger with healthy growth! The original Garlic Budder #1 mother (front right quadrant) is a stretcher and is already getting pretty tall! --- The Gorilla Goat #1 mom (back right quadrant) is also getting bigger and growth is starting to bush out. She’s still the smallest, but should hopefully start to ramp up with growth soon. --- Let’s go girls! - [16:40]: Both of the remaining clones in the propagation tray (Gorilla Goat #2 and the original Garlic Budder #2) look healthy and don’t need to be watered. --- Also gave away the two spare Heady OG BX #1 clones. Hope both thrive with health in their new homes. --- Thanks sisters! Planters of the trees! Ca-Caw! - [19:42]: Checked the 4x4 tent. --- Ca-Caw! Ah yea! I got Headies!! --- Both Heady OG and TKO are looking healthy and wow buds are swelling up! --- Bud colas are everywhere! --- Since I forgot to take readings last week, going to take them now. - [20:39]: Took the weekly height and light distance measurements. ------ Heady OG (BX1 #1) was about 51.5" tall. ------ TKO was about 48" tall. ------ Heady OG (BX1 #1) was about 2.5" away from the grow light (LV5 @ ~390.1W). ------ TKO was about 6" away from the grow light. - [20:48]: Took the weekly general PPFD readings. ------ Heady OG (BX1 #1) was around 916 μmol/m²/s which gives a DLI of 39.57 mol/m²/d under a 12/12 light cycle (LV5 @ ~390.1W). ------ TKO was around 792 μmol/m²/s which gives a DLI of 34.21 mol/m²/d under a 12/12 light cycle. - [20:57]: Quickly checked on the auto-watering system. --- System is still charged and no leaks or kinks found in the tubing. --- Plan to upgrade the reservoir by raising it up a bit. This should help to increase the PSI and waterings more consistant. --- Anyways! - [21:05]: Checked the humidifiers. --- Tanks are still full and no leaks found. Since heat has always been the most limiting factor, more water is not always better.. --- Sorry! Please don’t die on me ladies!! ------ [ » SMOKES A FEW BOWLS « ] - [+00:22]: Checked the 3x3 veg tent. --- The veg garden is looking beautiful and growth is looking healthy! --- Compared to the TKO mother (back left quadrant), Heady OG (front left quadrant) is looking droopy, but she’s still green. --- Wow the TKO mom is looking really healthy with huge fan leaves. Beautiful! --- Both the Gorilla Goat (back right quadrant) and Garlic Budder (front right quadrant) mamas are looking healthy and perky! --- The spare clones (Gorilla Goat #2 and Garlic Budder #2) are looking healthy but need watering. let’s go Ensign! - [+00:26]: Here are the starting initial watering ranges: ------ Gorilla Goat #2 » 255.4g → 300.3g ------ Garlic Budder OG#2 » 256.4g → 300.2g --------- General Solo Range: [Dry] «| [Initial Cup Weight] + ~55-100g |» [Wet] --- Took the starting weight of both clones before watering, ------ Gorilla Goat #2 » 231.2g and was watered 4 days ago. ------ Garlic Budder OG#2 » 252.7g and was watered 6 days ago. --- While on a scale, --- Gently misted the straw mulch of both cups with RO water. --- Focused on the straw and sprayed as evenly as possible. --- Misted 10-20 sprays. Waited a moment, then misted again. --- Made sure to reference the watering weights. --- Repeated this process until both cups weighted at least 300g. --- There was no runoff. - [+00:44]: Took the saturated weight of both clones after watering, ------ Gorilla Goat #2 » 325.3g ------ Garlic Budder OG#2 » 315.6g --- Marked the final wet weight on the back of each cup. Also marked the watering date on the front. --- Placed both phenos back into the tent and back onto the propagation tray. - [+02:06]: Checked the humidifiers. --- Tanks are still full and no leaks found. Day 04 - Thursday - 09/18/25 - Total Days: 158 ----------------------------------- Daily Averages ~[+01:00] - Temps: 87.0°F [30.6°C] - Humidity: 80.0% - VPD: 0.88 kPa - Soil %: [48, 38, 36, 57, 44, 43, 27, 43] ----------------------------------- - [10:22]: Okay time to upgrade the reservoir! --- Going to raise the tank up a bit. --- Purchased and received a generic 2ft tall wooden stool from Amazon. --- Time to start building! Let’s go! ------ [ » ~30 MINUTES LATER « ] --- Alright! Stool has been built and she’s pretty sturdy! --- Also decided to refresh and change out the lung room’s carbon filter. The filter is long overdue because I think this will be the first time in this room. --- Also swapped out the lung room’s carbon filter and changed the orientation from horizontal to vertical. --- Now the carbon filter is resting on the table with the exhaust fan point straight up. The slight downside is that exhaust vent is S-shaped which will reduced the efficiency of the fan, but that’s okay. --- As for the carbon filter, both units are refillable! Plan to refresh the old filter unit with new carbon before the next filter swap out (have a bag of fresh carbon pellets). --- Anyways! Now the tank is 24in higher than it was. Since the auto-watering system is gravity fed, this should raise the PSI slightly more. --- This also frees up some floor space under the table. --- While rearranging the Ecowitt WittFlow units, I discovered an issue with two of the units. --- Both the front left (Heady OG BX1 #1 mom) and back right (Gorilla Goat #1 mom) for the veg tent were malfunctioning. --- Shaka.. When the walls fell.. --- Will check on the veg garden this evening. - [16:26]: Evening check on the 3x3 veg tent. --- Okay! Well the garden looks the green and healthy! --- But now the droopy growth from the Heady OG mother (front left quadrant) is making sense.. - [16:42]: Checked all Ecowitt WittFlow units again for water flow. --- Yep. Out of all six units, two are faulty.. --- Both units are giving false readings. Both are connected to the Ecowitt WittBoy WiFi hub and the app seems to be working just fine. --- But when the valves are on in the app, there’s still no water flow. --- Swapped the batteries out on both units and checked the intake tubing. Even used the manual override to open valve. --- Still no water.. --- Need to order new units later.. --- Shaka.. --- Well until the new units arrive, will need to hand water both moms. --- Let’s go! - [17:12]: Filled a pump sprayer with 4 cups of RO water. ------ Added 1/64tsp of Quillaja Saponaria Extract [60] --- Gave the sprayer a good shake before spraying the entire solution onto the Heady OG BX1 #1’s straw mulch. - [17:36]: Filled the pump sprayer with 2 cups of RO water. ------ Added a pinch of Quillaja Saponaria Extract [60] --- Gave the sprayer a good shake before spraying the entire solution onto Gorilla Goat #1’s straw mulch. --- Check on both clones in the propagation tray (Gorilla Goat #2 and the original Garlic Budder #2) and growth looks healthy. Also no need to water! - [17:43]: Checked and updated the Ecowitt soil moisture sensor data: ------------------ [ 4x4 MAIN TENT ] --------------- ------ 45% - [CH01 FT » G30 - Heady OG BX1 #1] ------ 38% - [CH02 FB » G30 - Heady OG BX1 #1] ------ 35% - [CH03 BT » G20 - TKO] ------ 57% - [CH04 BB » G20 - TKO] ------------------ [ 3x3 VEG TENT ] ---------------- ------ 47% - [CH05 BL » GR7 - TKO] ------ 61% - [CH06 BR » GR7 - Gorilla Goat #1] ------ 45% - [CH07 FL » GR7 - Heady OG BX1 #1] ------ 50% - [CH08 FR » GR7 - Garlic Budder OG#1] --------- Veg: 38% - 45% | Flower: 45% - 55% --------- General: 30% [Dry] «| 45 - 60% [Moist] |» 70% [Wet] --- Shaka.. When the walls fell. --- Well soil moisture levels all look great now! --- But looking back at my logs, Heady OG’s WittFlow unit started failing about 14 days ago. Also think Gorilla Goat’s unit started failing around a week ago. --- Damnit Ensign!! --- Even though these entries are literally typed and logged for daily grow reference, I completely failed to notice the soil levels dropping from around 41% down to 20% over the past two weeks. --- Wow. ------ [ » SEVERAL BOWLS LATER « ] - [20:05]: Checked the 4x4 tent. --- Nice! Well the garden is looking okay for the most part. --- Heady OG is still looking droopy and yet wow buds are swelling up! --- TKO is looking stressed bud buds look okay. --- Both looked way better at the beginning of the week.. - [20:15]: Checked the humidifiers. --- Tanks are still full and no leaks found. Day 05 - Friday - 09/19/25 - Total Days: 159 ----------------------------------- Daily Averages ~[+01:00] - Temps: 87.0°F [30.6°C] - Humidity: 79.7% - VPD: 0.90 kPa - Soil %: [48, 38, 35, 57, 43, 45, 27, 43] ----------------------------------- - [10:41]: Oh what! Nice! Received my order from Plants-In-Jars! --- Ordered both the Plants-In-Jars Starter Kit along with the recently released ‘re-animator’ T-shirt! --- The starter kit includes: --------- AGAR [100g] ------ A high quality agar for plant tissue culture applications. --------- BAP [100 mL] ------ A cytokinin that boosts shoot proliferation and cell multiplication. --------- NAA [100 mL] ------ An auxin that promotes root development. --------- IBA [100 mL] ------ An auxin that accelerates root growth, especially in aroids. --------- MS MEDIA [10 L] + VITAMINS ------ A nutrient-rich medium enhanced with vitamins for superior plant growth. --- Aside from the AGAR Powder, have all the products stored in the fridge. --- Over the past two or so months, been slowly purchasing equipment for the journey into tissue culture. --- Now finally have the plant growth regulators (PGRs) along with the agar to make growth media. --- Almost time to start developing a cannabis tissue culture protocol for the garden! --- ‘5 Products, Unlimited Potential.’ --- The ganja journey continues with tissue culture beginning soon! --- Plan to completely fail for the first few batches, but have plenty of veg stock to perpetually keep trying. --- The Plants-In-Jars starter kit also includes access to a protocol library which has instructions for general tropical houseplants. Plan to start and modify from there. Also have reached out to Laur for basic beginner tips and cannabis specific advice for tissue culture. --- Even with all the current grow issues (also had a recent computer failure), getting hyped for tissue culture! - [23:12]: Night check on the 4x4 tent. --- Wow Heady OG is looking better! Shaka.. --- I’ve lost a lot of plants, but this was definitely the biggest one. --- I can’t reach her because Heady OG, so going to just leave everything as is until harvest. --- I guess increasing the soil moisture was a really bad idea.. Damnit Ensign.. --- On the positive side, Heady’s bud growth is still continuing to thicken up! --- Also, glad I have the TKO mother in the veg tent and she’s looking healthy in the veg tent. --- Will probably check Heady OG’s trichomes next week. - [20:48]: Checked the Ecowitt soil moisture sensor data: ------------------ [ 4x4 MAIN TENT ] --------------- ------ 50% - [CH01 FT » G30 - Heady OG BX1 #1] ------ 41% - [CH02 FB » G30 - Heady OG BX1 #1] ------ 35% - [CH03 BT » G20 - TKO] ------ 54% - [CH04 BB » G20 - TKO] ------------------ [ 3x3 VEG TENT ] ---------------- ------ 47% - [CH05 BL » GR7 - TKO] ------ 41% - [CH06 BR » GR7 - Gorilla Goat #1] ------ 50% - [CH07 FL » GR7 - Heady OG BX1 #1] ------ 48% - [CH08 FR » GR7 - Garlic Budder OG#1] --------- Veg: 38% - 45% | Flower: 45% - 55% --------- General: 30% [Dry] «| 45 - 60% [Moist] |» 70% [Wet] - [20:55]: Checked the 3x3 veg tent. --- At least the veg garden is looking healthy and all mothers and clones are green! --- The TKO mother is looking really healthy! She is going to need a topping soon. --- The Garlic Budder OG#1 mother is also starting to get a bit tall and may need a topping soon as well. --- Both clones in the propagation tray are also looking good and don’t need watering quite yet. - [21:00]: Checked the humidifiers. --- Tanks are still full and no leaks found. --- Well another grow week done. --- Failure is always an option and wow what a failure.--- Damnit Ensign. Shouldn’t have increased the soil moisture levels and still can’t believe that increasing the levels by 10-15% was enough to cause TKO to go from green and healthy, to burnt and yellow. --- Since I’m only flowering two plants this cycle, by losing TKO, just lost half the garden. --- Wow. A lot can happen in a week. --- Shaka. When the walls fell.. --- Well at least Heady OG made it through the week and am hoping she survives. --- Anyways, onwards to next. ------ [ » SMOKES SEVERAL BOWLS « ] [END OF WEEK 22]

The bean was soaked in a 25c solution of humic acid calmag and more roots for around 12 hrs then put into a paper towels for 18 hrs.. taproots came and they went into a jiffy.. As they get introduced to some photons I will give some fastplant spray.. Details... Growing Jack Herer feminized seeds (indoors and outdoors) As for cultivation, Jack Herer is a reasonably thick and productive plant that produces enormous buds. Make sure that the branches are supported to prevent snapping. Most Sativa plants should be controlled indoors by training or pruning a little. She is pretty rapacious when it comes to nutrients but, in return, offers impressive results under the right growing conditions. Outdoors, Jack Herer prefers warm, dry climates such as the Mediterranean coast, where she will give outstanding results with large, productive trees. However, you would be well-advised to use a greenhouse if growing in a cooler, wetter region. In addition, she does not develop a strong odor until after harvest and good ripening, which makes Jack Herer an ally of choice in terms of discretion. Jack Herer's genetics achieve excellent yields indoors or outdoors in the right conditions. Flowering time Flowering time takes between 60 and 70 days when grown indoors. Plant height Jack Herer seeds grow into relatively compact strains. Its height indoors is 90 to 130 cm, and typical sizes outdoors range from 130 to 180 cm. Jack Herer feminized yield Indoors, the maximum yield is 500 to 600 grams per m². Yields outdoors are generally higher, with 600 to 700 grams per plant. Effects of Jack Herer First, the smoke is heavy and lingers in the mouth; you won't want to light yourself up a cigarette right after smoking Jack Herer. This bud is perfect for chilling with friends having a little fun. For film lovers, it's the ideal choice! The high that lasts a little is sure to keep your interest in the plot as long as the stone nails you, even seeing the time pass. The effect is a pleasant balance between a full-bodied stone and a cerebral high, although the stone is powerful and dominant. Jack Herer will be suitable for daytime smoke to improve your mood and feel relaxed. However, the buzz won't bring on couch-lock if you need to get things done. Despite low levels of CBD (0.8%), Jack Herer is highly rated for stress, anxiety, depression, pain, fatigue, migraine headaches, and appetite. Side effects Users frequently report that Jack Herer can make them feel dehydrated, particularly in the mouth and eyes. So make sure you have plenty of fluids to hand to combat this side effect. Smell and taste The Haze taste is excellent, a flavor that takes different paths depending on the seeds. But very often, you will find the typical Indica aromas which mingle with the sweet notes of Sativa, quite fruity, lemony with earthy and skunky undertones. In addition, you may experience sweet nuances of fruit reminiscent of sandalwood or even pine forest smells. Jack Herer has become famous for its medicinal benefits over the years. The strain is straightforward and will produce a good yield if grown in the right conditions. Jack Herer produces copious quantities of THC, so much that you can practically see the branches glistening with the sticky resin. Origin Jack Herer was created in the Netherlands in the mid-1990s as a tribute to the infamous activist and author. Consisting of Haze x Shiva Skunk x Northern Lights #5 genetics, she quickly rose on the bestsellers list in Dutch coffeeshops for being a reputable and reliable medical-grade variety. Thanks for looking. I'm excited to see how these strains grow.. 💚🌿

------GENERAL COMMENT------ As planed I lowered the base nutrient to 2ml, and took a break from Cal Mag, to release the N a bit, green is on point now. Tomorrow will catch up with the Cal Mag schedule as usual. Time for some overdrive, for the rest all good, girls are developing well and buds are getting bigger, no issues. Smelling delicious! Hope I had some Terpinator to give a go... ------SM.BB COMMENT------ BB is maturing faster you already can see I have cloudy Trichomes, she will be a fast finisher as it looks like...

Flowering nicely, starting to stack a little already. Did a 50% defoliation and removal today. going to remove some more popcorns and climate blockers tommorow. There are allot of tops. I have to train myself on training plants better to dial in how many cola tops i want and get them at the same height. Not a strong smell coming off but when you smeel the fingers , Ooohhh its so smooth ans sweet. This is looking like its going to be a big year for the tent. I am liking the Canna nutes. Delay after delay on dripper setup i am now puttin three more valves in for flushing off flush water reservoir, just waiting for parts and assembly. Home Assistant is fantastic at controlling entire setup! Lets roll with it.

Another busy week with the vege. I gave it microbes, a HID lamp at 400 watts, sprayed for bugs and also covered the media with plastic wrap to get rid of 3 or 4 gnarts and of course a had another flood with the GoGro water system and I took one plant out of the garden because she is frozen in time. I still don't know why. The trellis is doing good. Lots of work.

She smells great! I wish she didn't get powdery mildew at the end but I couldn't risk it spreading to my other plants. Fortunately I caught it in time and the buds look good. The biggest one weighs 36 grams.
