Alright all, it's been awhile since I've been able to update so I have a couple weeks to catch up on. Unfortunately my cheap phone was having issues last week and I had to do a deep clean and got rid of some photos, photos I though I'd uploaded to my drive that I actually hadn't. I seriously could have kicked myself. But thankfully I at least have a video instead of nothing. So on August 1st I got some spent hardwood substrate blocks from a mushroom farmer down the road. I crumbled the blocks around the base of each plant and watered them in. The purpose of putting the blocks down is that they still have live mycelium in them, and the mycelium creates a symbiotic relationship with the cannabis plant and it's root structure. The cannabis roots can only take up so much surface area, but the mycelium can take up the space the roots do not and form a network where in exchange for sugars the mycelium will provide nutrients for the cannabis plants. Also, watering with the molasses gives the mycelium the sugars it wants. I'm sorry I don't have more pictures, I wasn't even thinking when I was cleaning up my phone because I was so frustrated with it (there's a reason LG stopped making phones recently). It's just been wayyyyyyyy more busy than I expected or wanted it to and I've had hardly any time in the garden. It's all this rain! Last year I was complaining about how there wasn't enough rain, now this year there's plenty of it. When I'm not doing Garden stuff I'm working part time with my husband doing landscaping and tree work, which includes mowing lawns. Last year with the drought we were mowing lawns maybe every 2 weeks. This year it's every 4-5 days. It's crazy.

Wish the buds would have got a little bigger but feel like that’s particularly my fault for a short Veg but overall I am blow away by the outcome for all the seeds to just be random bag seeds! 2 of the plants are drying now 3rd one will be cut tomorrow & the other 2 got probably 2 more weeks! Will do a taste & smoke report and also give a weight as soon as they dry & cure a little bit but honestly couldn’t be happier with my first grow! Thanks for all the support & help along the way & happy growing friends!🤙🏼✌️🏼🌱 Update on 1st plant - dry weight 42g, still smelled pretty Earthy when I put it in the jar but the smell is definitely coming out now, extremely sticky & frosty buds❄️: 1:🏼🙏🏼 Update - plant 2 Dry weight was 40 grams! Extremely happy with the out come this is honestly some of the best bud I have ever smoked! Amazing to me this came from a random bag seed, it has a very citrusy flavor, smells & smokes amazing! Honestly a 10/10 in my book, wish I could knew what strain this was so I could grow it again!😫❄️✌️🏼🌱 Update - plant 3 Dry weight 34g, smells & look phenomenal, the buds are much smaller & had the smallest yield so far but this is by far the best smelling so far! Will have a smoke update on this one soon, stay tuned friends & happy growing!✌️🏼🌱 Update - plant 5 dry weight was 52g it dried a little faster than plant 4 which I will probably jar tomorrow! Pow pow and welcome in Week14 - official Week8 of bloom 😃 There is no much changes from last week apart from buds getting more dense with pistils changing colour to orange all over. Skywalker is absolutely full of knuckles or “good foxtails” as some of you will say. LemonWalker bending as mad due to bud weight 😍 At this stage both girls are in flush mode getting nothing but plain water. Pinched small stem from each of them to run some pre-test...couldn’t resist haha. One more week in vegetatitve. This week I will put the scrog screen. They are growing well and my LST keep them very small =) Im really curious to know how they will flower =)

She's thriving and really fattening up now and I can't believe she's made it this far, day 63 of a very late outdoor summer grow, a couple more weeks 👌🏻

Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. 6/9 she is 47 days old. Her leaves are dark green. The leaves around the dense buds are thin and frosty. 6/10 48 days old. She is spread some what we'll. There are a few lower buds I would have liked to remove. They're there now. She has fine leaves around the buds. So I think they will get enough light. Maybe I should have tried to lay the branch over more. I did not fill the pot to the top with soil and with the settling. The plant is low in the pot, this makes it harder to tie the branches. Next time I want to get the plant higher, so I am able to work better under the branches. Very hard to defoliate the plant.

18.1.25: Gorilla 🦍 Cookies 🍪 is firmly in week 2. The plant is looking very good, sturdy. I have been feeding with about 200 ml of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 with the following nutrients;- ♡ 4ml Biobizz Bio-Grow ♡ 4ml Biobizz Fish Mix ♡ 2ml Cal-Mag and ♡ 1/4 g sprinkling of Ecothrive Biosys. Trying to give the extra boost of Nitrogen to keep vigorous growth, and maintaining the nice lush green 💚 Cal-Mag was used from the beginning of this week. Thanks for checking out my diary 🍃 ✌️

Vamos al lío , las 3 semillas que germinaron con éxito se colocaron en macetas de 0.6 litros y asomaron 3 , 100% ratio germinado. El ph se controla en 6.2 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 20/22 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. El ciclo de crecimiento puse 18h de luz, el foco está al 75% de potencia.
