A few lower leafs have yellows and shriveled but other than that both of the gals are looking good and the smell is finally started to kick in a bit. No problems at all and totally satisfied with there growth in bud size. Looking forward to this week and compare the difference.

26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. Week 8: Such vigorous flowering!!! These buds are just beautiful orange green and white. The smells are like candy oranges and sage(hippie armpit variety) Pretty interested to see how this stuff smokes!! Resin looks off the chain.

Another great week for the Apple Betty girls. I have not seen a single deficiency, other than the odd yellowed or withered leaf under the canopy, typically due to lack of light. I will come through soon and do a defoliation of both tents to allow for more light to penetrate, and perhaps get a good push for some girthy colas 😋. I have lowered the temps a bit in the tents by controlling my lung room temps, and they are maxing out at 77 degrees and hitting a night time cool of about 70. I have also lowered the humidity to hover between 47 and 52 %. Hopefully will start to get some nice colours as they finish. As I mentioned before, when I water is when I like to get under the canopy and check the stems and leaves for anything that shouldn’t be… and typically once a week after watering I’ll wipe down the tent and sanitize any surface I can. There is no reason to get lazy, that’s how you get Pests, Mold, and PM. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

Alien vs Triangle seems to have recovered from the extreme bending incident last week. Bud sites are developing nicely. I fed this week with Fox Farm Organic Big Bloom and Recharge. Looking forward to the results.👍

This grill went really well. In growing three different strains it did pose a bit of a problem later in flower due to differing light conditions needed by the three different plants. The Cali Kush being more Indica required less light and the jack Herer needed a bit more to finish nicely. This caused some light stress to the Cali Kush which caused late flower Hermes but didn’t cause any long-term problems like seeds or burn. All in all I’m happy with 600 g from a 4 x 4 tent and a 480 W light. This is especially true when you add in the Gaia Green and how easy it makes growing.

Buds getting alot bigger now and loads of crystals on them 😍 had to move things around in the tent for the 4 biggest ones to have some more room, quite a few leaves turning yellow and dropping off recently (i hope this is normal) all the plants are differant sizes so im not going to update the plants size

Made it 67 days before the chop. •••03/21/2020 After a 6 day hang I've trimmed and started to jar cure. Had a total flower weight of 85 grams. Over all I'm pleased. Will update with a smoke report in about 3 weeks.

First week of just water no issues so far!

The buds are rippening and fattening a lot every day, the smell is also getting much stronger.

Did a defoliation taking off almost all the fan leafs and let them swell up and rippen before giving them the chop this week. Seeing 70/30 clear to amber trichs.
