My first Mephisto run, got a new tent, light, and humidifier from me for Xmas. I started 2 seeds in paper towel in a cd case wrapped in a tshirt in the basement. 1 popped 2 days later, the other split still hasn’t really popped so I stuck it in a plug in a solo cup. I got pissed one night after it didn’t pop when I was drinking, so I started the single Dutch Passion®️Banana Blaze seed I had, it popped and went into a rapid rooter in the new tent 1/5/22. Mephisto Genetics®️Double grape 🍇 (which I’m calling Henrietta) went to her forever 3 gallon fabric pot with the bottom 1/3 FFOF, and the top 2/3 FFHF with a 2 liter greenhouse dome on 1/06/22. First week of flower

Wasn't satisfied with the net that came packed with the ACI 4x4 so I modified it with some string and zip ties. I find this works great because I have 2"x2" holes now that are partial elastic making weaving the tops much more forgiving on both me and her. I'm very happy with the direction this grow is heading. Along with the massive undertaking of redirecting all this growth. Roughly 8 hours off and on to redirect, defoliate and remove branches. She had a nutrient change and I moved on to week 5 of the FF Hydro schedule. I added about 1/2 tsp of Fox Farm Sledgehammer to the nutrients in my reservoir and let it sit for about 30 minutes. Then pumped out the solution and flushed with roughly 20 gallons of fresh cold 6.0 pH tap water. Then added the new solution with Tiger Bloom.

Hey everyone! 👋 Another week and another update, and in this week I finally flipped my babies! (and it wasn't a failed attempt) 😍 They are now in the 12/12 cycle and I must say last week's recovery was crucial to finally do it! Besides of all that this week was quite uneventful compared to the other ones (which I suppose is a good thing! 😝) The only things worth mentioning besides what I already wrote is that I overfed my babies (double dosage) but it seems they took them well and that Boomer and her sisters (specially Boomer) get thirsty really fast compared to before... which means I need to water them more frequently which isn't terrible. I also finally have some new time lapses 😊 I hope you all enjoy them! Thanks for reading! 🙌

I struggled with this plant the whole grow cycle. She still came out alright in my opinion. She did foxtail due to heat. For a first photoperiod grow in DWC I did good in my opinion. Learned a lot more, and been applying those techniques now. She grew under a Spider Farmer SE5000 light in a New Level Hydro bucket. I used hygrozyme during grow. week 9 - 1/25-2/1 Was going to harvest but its just absolutely not even close to ready... Going to try to make this work with limited space as every great grower would try.... I put it in 48 hours of darkness thinking iw as going to chop it but when i pciked it up i just couldnt have the heart to move forward and decided to turn the lights off... (i also fed right before 48 hours of dark because i was planning on keeping growing then decided fuck it lets chop b/c of a major setback while i was on vacation but now its experiment time!!!) ... lets see what happens! ASLO recipe called for NO CAL MAG but im adding 3 ML to the mix b/c i think itll help since im in coco... elts see

Week 4 for these girls. They've doubled in some since last week. I took a couple of the bigger fan leafs off this week, also raised my lights up allowing some stretch. Starting to see some preflowers and pistols. So next week will be off to the flower stage. Happy Growing

I’m loving these yellow training clips I bought off Amazon. Super easy to attach and adjust. Seems to be less hard on the stems vs. the wire I’d been using. Starting to node out big time!

Had a panic attack this week!!! Found some little fast moving crawlers on my mulch. Most were on the leaves I had trimmed off during defoliation. I come to find out they are a type of mite that eat the decaying foliage and were likely already within the soil itself. Luckily no problem at all. Lots of new growth and they all seemed to respond well to the little LST and HST I’ve used (topping and fimming). Almost daily I come in and press the tops out or down to help spread the canopy before trellising. The purple queen is truly the most impressive lady in the garden at this point. The Citradelic Sunset is a close second. Both plants are expressing 11 finger fan leaves and have very thick branches. I’ve had to raise my lights to 60” and everything has responded very well. They received about 4 cups each of compost tea this week. I backed off my watering schedule to help with the soil saturation.
