Had a bit of a cat-tastrophy this week. I left my tent open to go and fill a bucket of water, came back and zipped it up. What I didn't know is that the cat got in. Not 5 minutes later I can hear all sorts of shit moving around so I came in to find I had zipped him and and he went bonkers and bent almost every branch on the Skunk. So I had to do emergency tie jobs, but I ended up losing 2 medium colas and 1 small one. Could have been much worse if the skrog net wasn't there to stop them from snapping. Injuries look like bent plastic straws, so I'm going to be watching her closely to see if she herms from that massive amount of stress. Some of the pics have cat hair in them, thank the little brat. Anyway, Skunk is a 45-50 day finisher so I'm going another week and then she gets the chop. Lots of microscope videos today and finally found an amoeba. Also something moving in an egg...what is it? That's at 400x so I think it's a nematode egg based on what I found online. If you look closely at the super zoomed in trichome shot, you can see the reflections of other trichomes...just fucking epic.👏 All the food stops now, too much in the soil for her to start senescence. Nothing but water and FFJ now. New pistils are still coming in so who knows, maybe she'll keep going a few more weeks.

The plants will once again be allowed to dry all the way out…to the point of oh shit that’s dry substrate. Then I will flush the plants with 1.0EC mixture of Canna PK13/14 and CalMag. 5/25 Today is day 45 for this beaut. She just recently started really packing on weight and scattering trichs all over. Ive been picking fan leaves off and giving them to my dogs, they seem to love them. Shes really starting to smell like sweet lemon candy. A true treat to grow. Shes getting a slight blueish tint to all of her leaves. I cant wait to watch this beauty continue to grow every day, in my living room ;) Happy growing!! 5/28 Ive been watching her dry out day by day. Every other day, i rotate her a full 180 degrees to give her canopy even exposure. Her towers have been putting more weight on. Such a beautiful girl.

Baked Bomb is doing okay. She is not the strongest plant, but she is showing she is tapped into the stinger nutrition. She should be alright since the coco never dries out. She could easily explode in growth in next week. I seen many of my autos do this. So all is well. 3 seeds from barneys farm : glue gelato auto. Diary : Day 1: I dug a pit and cleaned my dirt with metal grid and a wheelbarrow & Installed the greenhouse. Day 2 : I rotated my dirt and added universal soil. 4 x 70l to area of 6m2. I also planted seeds in universal soil without sprouting first. Day 3 : I gave water and checked for sprouts. Bought moist meter and dripping hose. Installed those and making the greenhouse more moisty now. Feeling : Verry happy for my first time. Lots to learn.. . Excited

First, I made a mistake on week 13, it is not vegetative week but flowering week.The flowers enlarge and become hard as stone. The smell is more and more intense. I have not spotted any parasites or deficiencies.I would say it will be ready the first week of October.I thought it would be faster but it's probably because of the hard living conditions she been trought..

Things are finally moving along. The greenhouse is getting pushed to next year due to rain every weekend. Still growing the plants next to the location just gonna have to scale back and put two plants in each 65 gallon. They will be trained with a trellis net heavily to compensate. These girls are up to 16 tops each. Hoping the heavy training will pay off for this pivot

November 2nd marks another week with "Verlena" and "Carolyn". Verlena has transitioned into flower, yet Carolyn remains in veg. I should be placing them both in their 3 gallon homes this week. November 3, 2021, Wednesday. Nothing new to report. November 4, 2021, Thursday. All is well no issues to report. November 5, 2021, Friday. I watered the girls with MG Organics 11-3-8 and they respond quickly and positively. November 6, 2021, Saturday. Watered again with MG Organics. November 7, 2021, Sunday. Day of rest.

*If anyone read through my GDP diary, this is going to be mostly the same stuff. So, sad day friends. I got spider mites and had to throw all my plants out. This is what I think happened: About 2-3 weeks ago I noticed some freckling on the lower leaves. I looked at it and thought it might be a cal/mag issue so I added cal/mag that week and went about my business. I saw it about a week later and it wasn't getting any better so I added more cal/mag. This continued for about 2-3 weeks until I finally took off a leaf and examined it under my microscope. I saw little bugs crawling everywhere and my stomach just dropped. My fiance did some quick research while I was panic ripping leaves off (see pictures) and she correctly diagnosed it as spider mites. I debated with myself and my close friend and ultimately I decided to throw all the plants in my tent away. I know that there are a lot of people who will say that there are things I could have done to make it to harvest but what it came down to is the people I take care of and personal pride. I consider myself a caregiver and I give away product for free that I am not going to use to my family and close friends. I thought to myself "Would you smoke this?" and when my answer was "ehhh, I don't know", I thought about how it would feel giving it away and immediately made the decision to destroy them. I take an immense amount of pride in my product and this hobby and if I am not going to stand behind it I would rather just start over. I grow from my heart (shout out to the Grow From Your Heart Podcast!) to help people and make sure my family is not getting unsafe product from sketchy people. To spray pesticides in flower that may hurt people and have little bug carcasses in there just goes against that in every way and is just wrong in my opinion if you are giving it away to others. If you are the only one smoking it then it is one thing to take that risk but not with your patients. I want my medicine to help people, not create or exacerbate health issues. It is also important to note that the mites had moved from my flower tent into my veg space and took over my auto berry as well. Damn things are crafty and fast. So that is why I made the decision to destroy them all after 3+ months of res changes, pruning, and manifolding on a slow vegging strain. Feel free to chime in with your opinion but I do not regret my decision. I threw out my new clones, mother plant, and auto berry I had on my veg side as well. Shout out to all the other growers out there that do the right thing by their patients. Caregivers > Cash croppers. For anyone curious, I removed everything from my tent and scrubbed it all with a 20% bleach/water solution. All equipment has been wiped down and stored in the garage away from any organic materials. I will give them until tomorrow (2 days) to air out and dry and then I will wipe it down again with bleach and wait another 2 days. Hopefully that will make sure everything is dead and will not come back next grow. That next grow should start in about a week. It sucks but sometimes it happens and you gotta be ready for it. Lesson learned. Never bring outdoor plants into your indoor garden even if it is after just a day or two. A bunch of people on here and Reddit warned me and I did not listen. Now I have learned the hard way and it feels like when your parents "told you so" haha. Thanks to everyone who stopped by along the way. Stay tuned for a new grow coming soon. Beginning of week.. I raised the lights a little.. They are at 50% power at 18" (roughly) from the plants. The ladies are getting from 420 to 500 PPFD. Went ahead and fed them some extra FloraMicro this week.. I'm guessing they are just very hungry girls.. And I'm thinking the pH in the rootzone issue is not clearing up at all.. BUT.. It seems like no matter what pH I water them with.. The runoff ALWAYS comes out at 5.8 or 5.9 with the Mandarin Cookies and 5.8 or 5.7 with the ETHOS Cookies.. So if you want to reuse your coco coir.. Make sure to remove ALL the roots. The girls dont look too bad at all.. And that's why I'm guessing they just needed more nutes in the mix.. We shall see how this week goes! Mid week.. They are looking alot better! Mandarin Cookies is exploding woth growth.. ETHOS Cookies is growing slow but she is growing for sure.. I think I may need to remove a node or 2 on the ETHOS Cookies.. I could just leave it.. But the very top 2 are covering alot of tops.. I could make some clones from it.. Hmm.. All-in-all.. I'm happy with how these girls are growing for now tho.. This rootzone issue isnt going away.. But I think I found a way to make it work out.. I've been watering a little differently.. Here is a bit of an example: Day 1: Feed at 6.5 Day 3: Water at 6.4 Day 5: Feed at 6.3 Day 7: Water at 6.2 Day 9: Feed at 6.5 Day 11: Water at 6.4 Day 13: Feed at 6.3 Day 15: Water at 6.2 Etc... The runoff is staying above 5.5 each time.. But as I lower the pH, the runoff pH lowers as well (obviously).. So I think watering this way has helped keep these gorgeous ladies happy.. And theyare also very hungry.. I may have to start watering one plant every other day.. Water plant 1 tomo.. Water plant 2 the next day.. Then plant 1 the next day and then plant 2 the next day etc... 1 reason I want to start doing it that way is because I think the ETHOS Cookies isn't needing as much nutes as the Mandarin Cookies.. But they are looking great. Very happy and so are they! The heat has been insane lately.. So at the hottest part of the day I try to just turn the light down to 25% for 4 hours or so.. I hate having to do that.. But it's all I can do for now.. Or maybe change the light/dark hours.. Blah.. Whatever, they are happy! End of week.. I supercropped 2 branches.. They pretty much healed up and are already back to normal.. Like it didnt bring them down any lower at all lol.. It straightened back up and its as if nothing happened.. Just a big ass (MOOSE) knuckle lol.. But I stopped using the Kushie Kush and was just using the normal Gen Hydro FloraBloom in the mix. Will be upping the FloraGro next week! Wow.. Such hungry ladies! It's been so long since I've grown a bigger photo period.. I forgot how much they can take!.. On to the next!...

This girl grew up to be 77 days old. She grew short and without training, focused most of her energy to her main top cola. Even with the cheap Chinese leds shes got dense and really does pack a punch with a strong aroma and flavor. I'm thinking I should probably get more of these beans while they're are still available because she could easily be end up being added to the favorites list. I'll probably put a few nugs away for a long term cure. She was a pleasure to grow.
