- Worried about overcrowding of leaves and not enough light getting through. Based on research it is not good to trim Autos but i found later in this grow that my plants were strong enough to trim and actually seemed to benefit from more light being able to get through to lower branches - Lots of growth still even though flowering has begun and due to it being an Autoflowering strain it will keep growing - Had a bent stem this week on one plant, splinted it and seemed to have regenerated -

We finally arrived at the flowering of the 5 plants. # B3 presents some type of blockage, which is still very early in flowering. Despite the tragic accident with # B5 the buds' formation is going very well she still showed signs of phosphorus deficiency despite using both FloraBloom and Liquid KoolBloom in the next irrigation I will try to leave the PH in 6.4 since as I researched the phosphorus is better absorbed with soil pH between 6.2 and 6.7. The other plants are doing well and do not have the same deficiencies. This week I released the LST and applied defoliation on some leaves to favor the light on the apical buds where buds are forming. Updating with 55 days # B3 already has some white pistils but the buds did not start to form. I begin to think that it is a photoperiod.

Day 15/Day 3: + Speed is finally starting to take off. Should show excellent growth this week. Seedling coming along nicely for 3 days. Popped 5/19. Will keep humidity dome on for the week with 1 mist per day of straight RO water. OG + Speed looks horrible. Really stunted and has struggled ever since she was transplanted. Definitely germinate in paper towels and plant direct to final pot next time. We'll see what happens with her; she is trying to hang in there however. There is some new growth be it extremely slow. Might end up with one small cola. We shall see... OG + Speed is currently in a 1gl pot filled with Fox Farms Ocean Forest. She was fed a light feeding of nutes 5/21/23. First big feed for Day 15 + Speed: 4ml FloraMicro, 6ml FloraGro, 3ml FloraBloom, 2ml CALiMAgic, 1ml RapidStart, 1ml Floralicious Plus and 2.5ml Armor Si. Checking the light I noticed the PPFD around 350 where she was sitting. I think the tripod was blocking some light. Moved around now about 450 PPFD. We'll see if that helps her speed up (pun intended) Applied LST to + Speed. New + Speed shows slightly larger leaves from yesterday so progressing and OG + Speed looks like she is thriving! She's trying to hang on and do something. No water no feed. Temp: 76º RH: 61% PPFD: 475 AVG VPD: .46 kPa Day 17/Day 5: + Speed looks healthy and happy. Taking to LST nicely. Potted up as she was Rootbound Still only feeding biobizz grow

Wish the buds would have got a little bigger but feel like that’s particularly my fault for a short Veg but overall I am blow away by the outcome for all the seeds to just be random bag seeds! 2 of the plants are drying now 3rd one will be cut tomorrow & the other 2 got probably 2 more weeks! Will do a taste & smoke report and also give a weight as soon as they dry & cure a little bit but honestly couldn’t be happier with my first grow! Thanks for all the support & help along the way & happy growing friends!🤙🏼✌️🏼🌱 Update on 1st plant - dry weight 42g, still smelled pretty Earthy when I put it in the jar but the smell is definitely coming out now, extremely sticky & frosty buds❄️: 1:🏼🙏🏼 Update - plant 2 Dry weight was 40 grams! Extremely happy with the out come this is honestly some of the best bud I have ever smoked! Amazing to me this came from a random bag seed, it has a very citrusy flavor, smells & smokes amazing! Honestly a 10/10 in my book, wish I could knew what strain this was so I could grow it again!😫❄️✌️🏼🌱 Update - plant 3 Dry weight 34g, smells & look phenomenal, the buds are much smaller & had the smallest yield so far but this is by far the best smelling so far! Week 3 into flower and it’s time to top dress and seabird tea. Using 3 gallon pots, top dress with 1/3 cup craft, 1/4 cup worm castings, 1/2 ocean forest, and small amount of kashi. Seabird tea: 4tbs seabird guano, recharge, and worm castings, Humic acid, and alfalfa meal in the tea bag. pH to around 6.6-6.8. Should give me around a 2.5-12.5-2.5 feed. As I used equal parts alfalfa to seabird. Probably a little more nitrogen bwith the worm castings. Brewed for 24 hours and fed straight, no water down. Just bought the mammoth lighting 6 bar LED, I got suckered into the green spectrum and the ability to penetrate the canopy using green light. Science backs it but science also backed Covid vaccines soooo I guess I’ll have to test it out myself. 😂 But so far enjoying my first grow back after a year off. Took a while to remember everything and dial everything back in. Only took me going to the dispensary for a year to remember it’s just way better to grow and press my own rosin instead of paying 50 for brown boo-boo or flower i can’t even smell before buying it. As a young lad I was in charge of a 30 light/ 600 plant grow house. This famous rap producer had a pool house in his back yard he turned into a grow house. I ended up being very successful there using their recipe and styles, Rockwell cubes 20-25 plants a light of some SFV og and synthetic nutients and eagle 20 for daysss. Was at about 2lbs a light. Eventually I moved on and this guys house was raided as he was sending drugs back east to gangs and money laundering. Major wake up call, as California finally started cracking down on all the growers stealing electricity. Never thought I’d be growing weed but when your best friends brother has a grow house and it’s trim season, all hands on deck so I got introduced to it then and because my attention to detail and passion to science they gave me a shot opporating a 600 plant facility. Also showed me the dark side of the business with pesticides and mold… and all the “growers” that have no sanitation techniques and wonder why they have to use eagle 20 and avid all run… if you have trust issues don’t go into the underground cannabis grows of the early 2010s. People be trying to sell powder mildew as frosty nugs. But fast forward a bunch of years I move to Washington and the cannibus industry is all sealed jars with labels. No smell test, no scales, no free dabs… it felt like gambling every time I gave them money for weed. Looks fire taste like dirt or looks fire taste fire cost 60 an eighth…. Not substainable for a daily stoner, so I got my first 2.7x2.7 grow tent and some soil and 100s of hours of YouTube videos to figure out how to grow roots and not plants. Growing in rockwool cubes is all about recipes and pH. Growing in soil is all about microorganisms, oxygen, and relationship building.

These are turned on 15 minutes before the main whites and stay on for 15 minutes after. The reason? This simulates the natural sunrise and sunset effect, which helps optimize the flowering response and enhances overall plant development. The red spectrum plays a crucial role in promoting stretch and enhancing bud formation early on. Light Schedule - 11/13 Cycle From the start of flower, we are running an 11 hours light / 13 hours dark schedule. Over the years, I’ve found this lighting strategy beneficial in inducing faster flower onset, increasing terpene production, and ultimately producing better-quality fruits. This is something I personally swear by, but as always, I encourage others to experiment and see what works best for their unique environments. Spending Time with the Girls One of my favorite parts of the grow is spending time with the plants, enjoying some good medicine, and simply being present in the garden. The connection we have with our plants is invaluable, and I believe they truly respond to the energy we bring. It’s a labor of love, and every moment spent with them contributes to their health and vitality. Großartig gewachsen aber zugleich eine Pflanze Überdüngt. Ich war überrascht im Rückblick das schnelle und unaufhaltsame Wachstum. Da ich anfangs nur den Ph wert grob geschätzt habe habe ich glaube ich Anfänger Fehler gemacht und den PH wert ganz locker genommen. eine Pflanze hat die spitzen verbrannt und wächst seit dem relativ dünn und mager, trotzdem wuchsen sie stetig. Somit habe ich mir ein PH Messgerät angelegt. jetzt wird genau auf 6.2 PH alles angepasst. Kann durch den PH wert oder dem Dünger das Problem entstanden sein? LTS hat genial funktioniert und hat bei jeder Pflanze schöne Äste gebildet. es schaut fast schon aus als ob die Pflanzen in Blüte gehen wollen. Ich freue mich auf die nächste Woche!

They look more dense and tastier than my first try, i really want to taste them to compare the dfference between this grow and the previous one. She had fallen down due to overwatering and that stunted her growth. Now she came back up and should be back on track. Day 80 This morning I started defoliating Tropicana. She will be in the darkness for the next days. I already harvested a part of the head flower and let it dry trimmed. Because of extreme weather conditions and very high humidity I got a little bud rott. I found it out quit early I think. So I hope nothing will not happen any more. Just harvesting relaxed and drink a Tropicana tee. Day 81 I decided to cut her down in the evening. The humidity in the basement room is high and I don‘t want to risk here anything anymore. Waiting for my first homegrown weed to be vaped. Day 82 Tropicanas flowers hanging to dry in my basement. I check them once per day with a strong light. Day 83 Same same. The smell is wonderful like a bit of gas combined with a fruity flower bouquet. Our neighbors in the house like the smell, too. 🙏 Day 84 I could try my first homegrown weed. It‘s absolutely tasty and have a very smooth vape. I was very surprised cause it‘s not cured yet. A longer vape report will follow when it‘s dried and cured. Day 88 All flowers, sugar- and tee leafs are trimmed and filled in glasses for curing. I open twice per day for 20 minutes. Boveda packs 58% inside. I will fill out the rest of the diarie when my buds are dried, cured and vaped. So far this was a very exciting journey for me. Growing cannabis and even legal on our balcony.
