The veg garden is green and thriving with perky growth! --- Okay! Need to transplant two of these girls! --- After bit of self-debating (and quite a few bowls), I’ve finally decided on the ones! --- Going to transplant Gorilla Goat #1 along with the original Garlic Budder #1 --- Decided to the transplant the Gorilla Goat #1 for the loudness and overall lemon chem gas terp profile. --- As for the Garlic Budder phenos, going with the purple pheno. For a while, was planning on transplanting the #2 pheno, but after a 5-month cure, the unique and smooth smoke of the #1 pheno was the ultimate reason for switch. --- Ca-Caw! Always pheno hunting! This is why we grow! --- Okay, anyways! - [18:22]: Time to transplant! --- Both 7-gallon pots have been pre-amended and ready for more roots! --- Alright let's go cutty! --- Placed both of the spare Heady OG clones in the propagation tray. - [18:25]: Gently removed the solo cups from both fabric pots (on the right side of the tent) leaving perfect holes. ------ Sprinkled 1/16tsp of Great White, --- Dusted the sides of both holes. --- Also sprinkled a bit around the top soil. --- Great! Time to transplant! --- It’s been two days since both have been watered. --- To loosen and unstick the rootball from the cup, I gently squeezed the sides before pressing the bottom upwards. --- Once fully loosened, I simply Vulcan-gripped the base of the plant and flipped her upside down. - [18:33]: Gorilla Goat #1 dropped straight out of her cup! --- Hmm. Not as rooted as I would hope, but roots look white and healthy! --- The original Garlic Budder #1 pheno easily slipped out of her cup! --- Similar the Gorilla Goat, she could have more roots, but that’s okay. Roots look healthy and that is all that matters! --- Did not break up the rootballs. --- Gently flipped and placed each clone carefully into the pre-inoculated holes. --- Pressed and evened out the top soil for both phenos. - [18:39]: Transplant done! --- Gorilla Goat #1 was transplanted into the back right quadrant. --- Garlic Budder OG#1 was transplanted into the front right quadrant. --- To prevent transplant shock and to help even out the soil moisture, going to give 2 cups of wetting solution each. --- Also adding in a few extra microbes. - [18:55]: Filled a pitcher with 6 cups of RO water. ------ Added 1/64tsp of Quillaja Saponaria Extract [60] ------ Added 1/32tsp of Recharge ------ Added 1/32tsp of Stash Blend ------ Added 1/8tsp of Horticultural Aloe ------ Added 1/8tsp of Horticultural Coconut ------ Added 1/8tsp of Mycrobe Complete ------ Added 1/2tsp of WDG3000 Extra Strength BTI --- Mixed the solution and poured 2 cups straight into a pump sprayer. --- Misted Gorilla Goat #1's straw mulch with the wetting solution (back right quadrant). --- Took my time and tried to go evenly. - [19:15]: Repeated this process for the original Garlic Budder #1 pheno (front right quadrant). --- Using the remaining 2 cups of the wetting solution, misted the straw mulch for both Heady OG (front left quadrant) and TKO (back left quadrant) mothers. --- Ca-Caw!! Done with the transplant! Grow strong my veg queens! - [19:22]: As for the remaining veg clones, --- Decided to try to preserve the genetics in solo cups and basic clonal cycling techniques. --- Plan to take new cuttings in a few weeks or so and will begin the rooting process once more. --- Curing has really changed the way I currently hunt phenos and I really don’t want to lose another keeper pheno (recently regret not keeping a cutting of Garlic Budder #4). --- Oh! Also finally decided to fully give tissue culture a go! --- Another huge shout out to Laur and her independently ran business, Plants-In-Jars! --- If successful, learning tissue culture will be a huge ganja journey milestone by providing a sustainable way to preserve and maintain a diverse genetic library. --- Through continuous subculturing and micro propagation, I should be able to maintain unrooted explant cuttings forever. --- Then when needed, theses cuttings can be rooted and conditioned back into a clonal state and back into solo-cups for transplanting. --- Of course, I have absolutely no idea what I am doing, so developing a successful cannabis tissue culture protocol is going to be fun and full of failure, err, I mean, learning experiences! --- What can possibility go wrong right!? --- While learning (which will most likely take a bit), will continue to maintain the vegging mothers and solo cup clones. --- The ganja journey continues! Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. The "Beautiful Lady" is thriving as One of the Outdoor Natural Wonders of the Growth World. The colour, the scent, the visual appeal...isn't She Gorgeous??? Still having doubts about the strain but clearly a Indica pheno and a world classe genetics. I registered some white flies and a snail wondering around but some neem oil treatment started very quickly ( 2ml/L solution for leaf spraying) and the week after (3.5ml/L solution for direct watering on Roots) and nome of the plagues were seen after that. As you can see, the bending clips allow the sunlight to enter directly on the internodes space and the interior leafs structure is massivly and densly developing. The seedling occured at 7th February, so counting 2/3 weeks for seedling/plantula stage, plus 6 weeks so far on vegetative stage, my opinion is that with the next week hot weather forecast and the maintenance of the fertilizing schedule ( adding once a week a "cocktail" mixing mineral fert - Bionova Autoflowering Supermix + organic Biobizz Fish Mix and Rooting Agent ( Aminoacids; Humic Acids; Nitrogen supply; Selenium/Iron compound and micronutrients) and plus every 18 days Blackstrap Molasses "tea" dilution on 2 litres of water of two tea spoons of Blackstrap Molasses (around 8 ml/L). Each 3/4 days a plain OR watering scheme - no fertilizing compounds included, just plain water- and not much than 0.5L by grow. As you can see on photos, the growth goes solidly amazing with a full healthy plant. Some bending clips were apllied and it is clearly noticed that the interior leafs structure and internodes growth is developing massivly day by day. The weather was fantastic the last 10 days, changing from a very steady temperature amplitude from Max. 20 to 23ºC and during nights a min. never below 13ºC. Relative humidity around 75 to 85 % and changing each couple of days from showering rains to clear hot and bright sunny Mediterranean days. So Jah Jah God as always on command, greatly wise, protecting the growth and spreading Peace and Love for the world. Pause and be safe...

Les buds gonfle doucement, j'alterne 1 engraissage sur 3 arrosage délibérément, je ne cherche pas le rendement sur cette variete jessaye vraiment de concentré la puissance au maximum dans les têtes, l'odeur est de tropicale est dominante 75% environ et les note de haze 25% c'est très leger et puissant en même temps je ne m'attendait pas a ca venant d'une "15% de thc"

The tricombe production on this strain is ridiculous! It looks amazing under my microscope. The heads are mostly milky coloured so this may be finishing sooner than expected. The space in the tent is getting a bit tight so I'll be glad to have more room when this lady has done her thing.

They look good, they are drinking good aswell, every 2 days 1 L each plant

Наконец примудрил обдув для растихи. На днях придет изолонтейп для шумоизоляции. Немного переделаю выдув и поменяю уголь в фильтре 6й день от перевода на 12/12. Растет активно, но я ее загибаю в ковёр, так как неоднократно были проблемы с недостаточностью высоты бокса. Так что пусть лучше будет поменьше)) По опыту могу сказать, что до зацветания ещё больше 10ти дней. За это время успеет несколько раз ещё порвать бокс. Лью сейчас удобрения Simplex Coco в минимальной дозе на вегу. Растению хорошо, и в дренаже ппм не растёт. Так что едем дальше))) Из проблем, только отсутствие нормального обдува для расты. Со дня на день придется что-то решать с этим.

I´m really looking forward to this run, the SpectrumX from Medicgrow with build in PPFD, 4 spectrums V1, F1, VS, FS and 880 Watt is definitely serious business 👊 Trying out a new soil in this grow. The plant mulch is an exclusive mixture of harped mulch, nutrient-rich natural fertiliser, hill sand and long-term matured compost. The mixture provides a porous and airy structure, which ensures that both water and nutrients are easily accessible to the plant's roots. Stay tuned and Keep it green 😎

Day 29. Girl is going , a bit slower than Ice, i was hoping Chocolopez will be same big runner, still very nice plant is forming. Mars TS1000 - Light is solid and does job. For last week output is on max . Still rotate a lot, but am happy with development. I miss more good wind inside, but i live in shared house ;)))))))))))) even really silent air system is still loud on desired speeds ... Hope next week ill send her to flower. Will top up with Worm Castings and Mycorrhizae during training in few days, when girls will be watered next time. Rhythm is good, every 3 days pots are light. 1.5 liters to each went straight in after photo shoot. Day 31. Applied BioBizz Leaf Coat when lights went off. Loads of training was made today too. Day 32. Now girls are trained daily. Top shoot twisting, leaf tucking, rotation around axis , changing positions inside of tent and so on. Always wash hands before any training, it is a must. Still havent made mind, scrog or lst ... Think tomorrow will be watering day and i have to decide which way to go , i am fliping them at next watering 100%, otherwise again rush to harvest before late spring holidays ... Happy Growing !!!
