She is finally fattening!

It’s the 9th week of flower and this run is slowly coming to an end. Mimosa is by far the fastest finisher here. In 8 weeks there is around 30 % amber trichomes in the top buds. A little too much for my taste. I ve reduced the ec in the medium of mimosas to around 1.0 and took the drippers out. Now they will dry out fully in around 1 or 2 days and I will chop. The rest is more or less similar and will go for about a week more.

There is so much to discuss ! I have been extremely busy as of late trying to get this Harvest together, but i am happy to have it here for you now ! I Seriously under estimated the amount of time, help from others, and my own necessary skills to pull this off.. and i still kind of screwed it up lol ! But its worth noting i have never actually done this before and trying to document it during....was extremely hard. It is next to impossible to work an iPhone with rubber gloves on ! First I want to discuss everything step by step so before you jump straight into the comments on how the end product is so small in "quantity" Rest assured i am happy with its"quality"...and thats all that matters to me because Life is a journey not a destination! and i have learned so much from this grow that I couldn't be any happy even if i messed some things up :) But at the very least I hope you read through this entry in its entirety with an open mind and focus more on the process, rather than just the outcome! I ran out of Ice & i was only able to wash three times..(normally I've heard you should go sometimes 5-6 washes) Preparation is Key & things will be much better next round :) Photos 1-22 These are pretty self explanatory but for those of you just tuning in now.. this is what happens to a very happy plant when you don't have the necessary tools to monitor key components of growing cannabis.. Ph, as well as EC levels play a very key role in the outcome of your grow lol that being said I was just able to save this plant by purchasing both tools but that doesn't mean the plant didn't suffer because of the prior events.. This was a Huge reason behind me choosing to turn this harvest into what i would consider "Solventless Hash Rosin" from "Ice water extracted Bubble hash". Pictures 23 The idea here is the process of using "fresh Frozen Cannabis" this has been discussed many a time online on such sites as instagram and here on grow diaries as well.. I personally have Never tried the process so i decided to try it out and make a judgement for myself.. Video 24 The Cannabis has now been in the freezer for 72 hours making it very well frozen.. as you can tell i struggled getting it all into the 25u Screen Wash Bag. One thing of note i would do differently is i will de-stem my next batch as i also believe this played a part in the amount of plant matter that escaped through the sieves. Photo/Video's 25-28 The idea here is "ice water Seiving" & especially with the bags that I am using here that are only have screen material on the bottom portion of the bag it is very important to have spaces in-between the screens to allow the water to pass directly through the screens into the bottom bucket with the least amount of resistance.. because the hash is so extremely temperature dependant if it gets warm on the side of the bag.. it will stick there and not make it to the bottom to become use able product.. 29 You do not need to use as much Ice as i used here lol... the idea is to keep everything very cold..i certainly achieved that but at the sacrifice of using so much that i ended up grinding product and producing "contaminants" but in the end they are just plant matter that i would be smoking when i rolled up my joint either way so.. I'm not super disappointed.. But it should be noted that what you want to achieve here is a Layering effect where you have the wash bag between two small layers of ice while the "water current" washes the Trichomes away allowing them to be separated by the screens setup below :) Before Starting the machine you should allow some time (i.e.;10-12minutes pre soak to allow the product to become saturated) before the first cycle. By video 32 I have just ran out of ice lol.. Video 33-34 Here I have a tip for you.. to separate the screens that you sieve through.. cut 5 gallon buckets to stretch them across nice and tight.. it'll make scooping your Bubble that much easier ! i learned this from the many "Frenchy" videos I have watched :) Picture 35 Here in lays the problem for most people.. drying your hash without loosing vast amounts of "Terpenes" whilst also stay ever vigilant against mold ! Thanks to all those videos I've watched on youtube.. id like to think this was one of my most successful parts of this process.. Things to Note; Terpenes start to seriously evaporate at temperatures 68F or 20C you need to stay as cold as possible whilst bringing the Relative Humidity in the space down into the 40-30% to stay away from that nasty mold ! I used my cold storage room in the basement.. with a dehumidifier running to keep the space at 45% RH & staying at a constant 15c. All while spreading the hash as thin as possible across parchment paper, on top of the white screens with a fan moving air across both sides of the paper. Pictures 36-38 These are some macros i took in the middle of my drying session I fell in love with the colour. Yes i know the black spots are plant material but they will get caught when i bag the hash & squish the oil out. Thing to Note; at this stage it is important to ensure you 'micro plane" the hash down as fine as you can whilst staying weary of the temperature... any "chunks" will hold pockets of moisture.. that lead to potential problems..ie; mold ... Picture/Video 39-41 Successfully planed bubble hash ready to be bagged and Squished ! Picture 42 Ive decided to follow Pedro.. from Pedros Grow Room and double bag to be on the safe side so i don't have any blow outs. So thats One 25u bag inside one 160u bag ! :) Pictures 43 This is almost 3 grams of the bubble hash from above, already melting in the bag.. this is where i ran into trouble again lol things started getting to warm in the house and i was only able to get one of the three squish's i did on video :( things started getting sticky. Picture 44 This is basically just a photo of the equipment I'm using; 3x5 LowTemp Cage in the frame I built myself, with a 20Ton bottle jack. Something to note here is this is an older Lowtemp model with only a single heating zone which is which i have it closed here heating Both sides of the press :) As well as the importance of having adequate pressure on your plates.. my rig is very overkill for the size of hash bags..lol Video 45 Here is the lovely press video.. its didn't quite work the way i wanted either lol my directional folding wasn't quite tight enough for a big "drip" :) &the Press was set to 65°c Photo's 46-50 are pretty self explanatory :) I had a blow out.. but still managed to pull an 80% return from the hash once squished...& yes it tasted amazing :) Was it worth it in the end... that could be debated.. for some..i understand..its not your thing, but for those of us that are interested in making our own concentrates.. free from Solvents... I wouldn't make it any other way :) If even ONE of you reading this diary finds it helpful to reference for ANYTHING.....even if its "what not to do" ill consider it a success ! Took some photos for the Christmast contest! I changed my nickname, I've started on GrowDiaries just to post one question, but it hooked me. Now I need a better brand: Big Beautiful Weed. Just perfect. It's Bud Porn time! New phone, as you can notice, with better camera and allows to use the microscope. So much better! I took a million pictures. Startedtoday, flush at day 60. Probably I should have start to flush the Gelato a bit earlier, is already showing some amber. [UPDATE: No! And is been a mistake realized in week 10, I started flushing too early, still two weeks to go at best from this week 9] Maybe less then a week before I chop her. It will be couchlock, if I have to guess, and is what I was looking for. Overall, and besides the photoperiodic Gelato I had to kill, I'm veeery happy of how is turning out. The colour from Outer Space, that's it. OG Kush Auto in my germination space denands more light, and her diary!

Doing well end of first week of flower !!

Getting ready to transplant in a couple of days. Today on one of the short plants I half snapped one of the fan leaves near the top of the plant! I've also gone and knocked over another one when feeding earlier today 😔 tent should be up by now but can't put up yet ATM

Uploaded pics from yesterday (day 25/21 - week 4). Tent layout from top left: Sugar Mama Candy Kush #2 Bubble Kush Candy Kush #1 Fastberry All the girls showing good progress. The sugar mama has lots of catching up to, at least she is growing fine now. No idea about that fastberry and what it is doing. I've pegged the Candy Kush #1 down some more and removed the leaves that are covering new grow or touching soil. Lots of branches coming up, albeit slow :) Candy Kush #2 and the Bubble Kush are just a sight to behold, lots of branches and quite big for their age. The Bubble Kust is only 21 days from seed in that picture! Amazing! I've only been tucking the fan leaves to give more exposure to the new grow, seems to have been working well so far. I think I will need to train them this week, just a little LST bending the top cola down. All 3 Kush's are big enough now to handle some nutrients so I've them for the first time today. The little ones will need to wait. I've found some White Powder Mildew on my outdoor plants, so just in case I've sprayed these girls with Neem Oil, never liked the smell of it :( but I am going to be using it every week or so as a preventative measure. I'll update again in a couple of days for the end of week 4 (this is mid week update, kind of) ------------- End of week 4 update. Candy Kushs and Sugar Mama at day 28, Bubble Kush and Fastberry are 24 days. All the girls are looks really well, showing slight signs of magnesium deficiency, I'll be giving them biobizz calmag with next watering. The fastberry is finally starting to look like a normal plant. Still perplexed by the top bud growing sideways/downward.

Para el lavado de raíz le agregue en total 60L de agua y utilicé Flawless Finish para barrer cualquier residuo que le quede. En total en humedo tengo 127g de una sola planta. Su olor es muy fuerte y se siente lo citrico. En estos momentos se encuentran en curado, la corte hace 7 dias aproximadamente. Se ven muy bien, estan super pegajosos y muy lindos. Nunca había cultivado una AK-47, muy linda planta y muy conforme con resultados obtenidos. Gracias al banco de semillas Seeds Mafia.

Ive got two Skunk Apple Runz plants(tossed 1 when I repotted the plants) with exotic-looking leaves and some great genetics. These are seeds I made and both the parents were top notch. They're both about five inches tall and growing strong they both seem to have the growth strength from the ricky bobby Unfortunately, one of them might not make it because of some damage or mutation im not sure, it just seems to have stop growing upward correctly but the other one's looking really healthy. Happy late turkey day grow diaries world!!!! It's now day 24 from seed for all the seedlings I have going. The past few days the plants have really started to take off. There roots have really started to dig in. Every other water I am still giving 2ml per gal of fox farm grow big. I keep having to tell myself not to add any more nutes other than that. I don't want to fry my plants but I also want they to start jumping. I'm quite excited for the coming week, I think the next 7 days or so is when the plant really starts to transform and look more like a pot plant than just some random little green thing. A few days ago I decided to move the plants from under my 55w cheep amazon light to under my spider farmer 100w newer version light with the good leds in it. The plants will hopefully be ready to up pot them here soon and get them in the large tent. Sometimes when growing multiple different strains it can be really hard to balance giving to much or to little light. You don't want the faster growing plants to get to stretched out waiting on the slower plants to catch up I spend Thanksgiving day morning transplanting the plants into 2gal pots. I am useing spme promix potting soil it's my 1st time tring this soil. It is actually doing really well the roots were all white and nice looking. I think next time I'm going to add some worm casting, kelp, granular mycos, and a little bit extra perlite. I just didn't have the money with christmas coming to splurge for all the extra stuff. I got rid of 2 plants 1 of the bubble og and 1 skunk apple runtz. There is only room for 10 pots in the 2x4 tent. I will peob only bring 8 of them to flower, always good to have back ups. Yesterday I also stuck the plants back under the 500w medicgrow mini sun 2 in my 2x4 tent. They did great under it the 2nd half the day I was happy they didn't get stressed. I had put them under that light a little early about 10 days ago or so. I am expecting in a week these plants will ge going crazy with growth

She looks great. So strong and bushy and healthy. I love it. And she smells awesome. Lovely strain that is 😻

Hello everyone! This week the wedding cake has finally started to flower and it is in the pre-flowering period. After the gorilla skittles started flowering as early at the 6 week, the wedding cake continued to grow insanely for 2 weeks and grew about 35cm in two weeks!!. She finished all the space in the closet and currently the top of the plant is 30 cm from the lamp, I have no more room in the closet to lift the lamp. I tried using Scrooge and Deployment but it was not enough. The fiming method did not stop the growth enough. This week I did another cleaning of the leaves and flower areas that I am not interested in. Hope everything will go smoothly!

I've had to make a few changes this week in order to maximize my environment. At this point in flower the goal is to raise pH of my water and lower temperatures inside my tent.... high temps can help burn off terpene profiles. Overall she has been looking pretty light and I've decided to feed her with Advanced Nutrients pH perfect bloom. Planting in a 3 gal bucket just doesn't cut it if your planning on growing in super soil/ organic soil. Since I've fed with AN, I've also increased the CaMg dose.. she really enjoyed the nutes. I will probably feed once or twice more depending on how long she wants to grow. I'm anticipating 90+ days to harvest at this point. Compared to the runtz, Blackberry and cheese auto, the trichome production started pretty slow with the mimosa cake. It's starting to stack on now and the smell has intensified 10 fold in the last week. Process/ Environment changes: - Turned back down my exhaust fan.. it was turned up way too high and my carbon filter couldn't keep up with amount of air bieng pushed thru it... the smell in/outside my house was unbearable... - I Harvested my cheese auto (see videos), so I turned down one of my TS1000 lights, which decreased the temperatures inside my tent. - Like I mentioned earlier, I fed with AN bloom nutes to help keep her healthy. - I've been taking off more fan leaves and bottom larf, bit by bit every day I'm on auto pilot at this point. I included photos of my outdoor grow space.. I plan know replicating this grow outdoors this summer. I also bought a rosin press, and I plan on smashing nugs for days when all these plants are ready ☮️

She’s still a little burned. But growing very slow. Not much sun... cold, wet and windy Weather 👎🏻 Close to - 1 this morning... Think i gonna chop her Down before the rainy weather or the cold one kills her... But the buds are still so tiny Need a least 1 month😕 Any inputs guys?

This week I’ve seen lots of nice growth overall, but especially with the Cream & Cheese CBD. Great node development, nice color and even has a but of a nice odor starting to emanate. New tents coming soon too. Another 2x4 and a 4x8. I'll be cutting clones and spreading the plants around to give them more space once the new tents are up.👍

At a total of 79 days this Sangria is a beautiful one! A cross between The GOGO and Ogreberry she is super delightful, Dense resiny heavy covers trichome buds , with the smell of Gassy rotten fruit funk on the nose! She a stanky one ! Other then that she was a pretty easy grow , y’all don’t sleep on it an better get your hands on it , at @Twenty20Mendocino they got you covered
