Week 10! Only a few more to go then glory!! Watering regular 2L every 3 days. Use of GHE nutrients I have been using half dose so I don't get a nutrient lockout. Saw a few GNATS flying around my tent!! Put out a few Sticky Stiks to catch them and gave a light spay of insecticide with the light off for half hour. I also put up a fly strip, not to hopeful? This could be a problem if not caught right away!! First thing I gotta do is stop watering them,dry out to kill the larvae in the top inch of the soil. The best way to kill fungus gnats and other crawlers is Diatomaceous Earth Powder. Sprinkle on top of soil, works great. Gnats are gone now took 3 days.

So Runtz auto is still hanging in there. I was feeding strong as it is my first time using Plagron. I cut back on feed amounts and have increased irrigation. She should snap out of it soon. The plants have reached a stage where they have enough foliage and growth on them to begin training and defoliation. I cut most of the side growth and major fan leaves off. Using safety pins and twine, I started their LST.

Day 31 F and I’m cutting the extra P supplement, from now on they will take it only from my NPK all in one liquid base, im increasing K to help them in this final fattening etc . First week of the flowering phase and things are already looking promising. Pistils appearing already as you can see in the photos, and all 5 plants stretching out nicely. I’ve now defoliated all of the fan leaves that were on the main stem, they were huge and had done their job of providing energy to the side branches and were now probably just taking up too much water and nutrients and were too low to absorb much light. So now all growth is concentrated on the side branches, all of which are nice and uniform and giving several tops on each plant. I’ve moved the light to 18inches/45cm away from the tops for the flowering phase. Temperatures have been a lot more ideal this week. Applied the BioBloom powder as a top dressing, using the lower dose of 3g per litre of substrate, so 36g top dressed onto each pot. Love how easy these nutrients are to use. Very simple to weigh and top dress rather than mixing up liquid nutes into water every time. Much less effort and much less time consuming. And the plants look the some of healthiest I’ve ever grown. No sign of any deficiencies so far!

Week 10 Last week of Vegging, switching the lights on 12/12 cycle. Xmas is in 8 weeks now 😄 Stretch should start in approximately 7 days. I might have 2 plants (Lemon Cream Kush) finishing on the side, will see how they stretch, I didn’t expect such a Vegetative growth. Adding some pictures of what an excess of Nitrogen looks like and when the EC level of the soil is too high for a plant. Keeping an eye on the new growth of the week, the leaves aren’t clawed, meaning I can add some Nitrogen again by the end of next week to give them what they need for the beginning of the stretch. Took off some few leaves, the big fans leaves, recovering the lower shoots to give them some light. The shoots will become buds sites during flowering. Remember last week, when I spoke about the case of working in a Grow Op and the need of another week of Veg ? Olá companheiros, mais uma semana que passou, tudo está bem, a rainha continua a crescer bem, desta vez só cresceu 10cm numa semana mas as ramas laterais cresceram muito e estão muito ramificadas, uma rama de baixo partiu-se com o peso.. e ainda não tinha flores.. a planta continua com um desenvolvimento espectacular, esta semana borrifei óleo de neem para combater algumas pragas, e tudo vai bem, estou muito contente 🌲🌲✌️

Often, marijuana growers who have their plants in indoor grow tents or rooms with artificial lighting, take into account parameters such as temperature and relative humidity to maximize plants growth and bloom, thus obtaining abundant harvest with top quality flowers. As we will see later, these factors affect different processes of the plant, such as transpiration or nutrient uptake. However, we usually forget about another important factor that is related to the aforementioned ones: vapor pressure deficit or VPD. Broadly speaking, VPD is the difference between the amount of water vapor that the atmosphere is able to retain (which depends on temperature) and the amount of water vapor contained in it (relative humidity). It is usually measured in kilopascals (kPa). Providing our plants with a correct relationship between temperature and relative moisture will keep us on the right VPD parameters, increasing the plant’s activity and thus improving its growth and showing its full potential during the flowering phase. The ideal would be to adjust both parameters (temperature and humidity) to get the best possible VPD value, so that the development of plants will be amazing.In the chart above you can see the right temperature and moisture values to maximize the development of cannabis plants. The green zone shows you optimal values of VPD, in which it would be ideal to maintain the environment. The orange zone shows correct values, in which plants should not have problems to develop normally. However, red areas show values in which your plants will be very far from hit their full potential, since the relation between temperature and moisture is not optimal. With relatively high values of VPD (between 5 and 12) plants tend to open their stomata and release a considerable amount of water vapor into the environment (increasing their transpiration). This increase in transpiration results in an increase in the plant’s photosynthetic activity, which will need more nutrients and will improve its overall growth, both during growth and bloom. The best range is between 7.5 and 10.5, which we have marked in green. However, we must be careful that VPD is not too high (dark red zone) since the plant would close its stomata to avoid releasing too much water vapor to the environment, which would result in fast dehydration due to excessive transpiration. On the other hand, if VPD is too low (light red zone), the plant will also close its stomata for not releasing more water into the atmosphere, which in this case would be already saturated (it would have reached the maximum water retention capacity in a specific temperature). In this way, reducing transpiration will also reduce photosynthesis, which has a direct impact on the plant’s development and yield. That way, VPD is essential when it comes to offer the best conditions for the development of plants, also to understand its water requirements according to the nutrients used and thus adjust them correctly to meet the grower’s expectations. It's getting serious now 😄 If it can helps you to realize, each plants gots 4 side and a middle, each sides gots 4-6 buds and there's 5-6 buds in the middle, there's 11 plants of 1,60m/5.25ft, how many buds does it makes ?? I mean, just look how them colors are jumping all over the place, dude she is brown, she is blue, she is yellow. And she is green in i dont know how manny different colors patterns this one is getting , but i know is a lot and that she is gorgeous to my eyes.
