Dear diary, Week 7 has brought us closer to flower. Despite some variations in their development, they continue to progress steadily. 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 ⏰ Day 46: Provided a feeding session with a nutrient strength of 1.64ms and a pH level of 5.7. After tying down the tops yesterday, the plants exhibited upward growth again. ⏰ Day 47: During the evening feeding session, I administered a feeding with a nutrient strength of 1.67ms and adjusted the pH to 5.6. This also is the day that marks the final topping session, bringing the total number of tops to 16 for each plant. The plants have responded well to the previous training, and I'm eager to observe their continued growth with the mainlining technique. ⏰ Day 48: I provided the plants with a feeding containing a nutrient strength of 1.67ms and a pH level of 5.7. ⏰ Day 49: During the evening feeding session, I maintained a nutrient strength of 1.67ms and adjusted the pH to 5.6. Additionally, I removed another set of fan leaves to optimize light distribution among the tops. ⏰ Day 50: The plants received a feeding with a nutrient solution at a strength of 1.64ms and a pH level of 5.8 ⏰ Day 51: During the evening feeding session I provided the plants with a nutrient solution at a strength of 1.64ms and adjusted the pH to 5.8. ⏰ Day 52: Administered a feeding with a nutrient solution at a strength of 1.64ms and adjusted the pH to 5.8. To ensure optimal light exposure for all the tops, I removed the last set of old fan leaves and did some more low-stress training on the other 2 plants in the tent to align their heights more closely with the WCs.

So I'm hoping that were all done stretching because I'm all out of room to raise my light! Lol These ladies are huge! I'm so friggin stoked for these two, I cannot wait to see more flower production. I increased the nutrients for transition and everything is looking lovely except for some minor calcium deficiency showing on some of the bottom leaves. Next feed I'll add 5ml of cal mag to the mix and see if that helps. It has started to go away little by little since the last feed because the nutrient solution dies gave some cal mag in it but I guess just not enough for this big bitch lol. Until next week.

This strain Sunset-Sherbet was apart from my first ever indoor cupboard grow. Growing this strain was really fun and also quite easy. This strain has bright green leaves and grows nice developed thick stem throughout as well. The problem I faced with growing these two beautiful ladies is that they both have snapped, here are the notes on that day. 1 October 2020 (Week 6) She snapped… 🤦‍♀️🏼 The morning I was trying to tie down the main cola to the pot and what happened is, the previous time I stress trained the main stem was a while ago and the grew tight against the rope and that caused it to become a weak pot of the stem. So as I was busy tying the top cola there where the previous stress was, it broke. It was a pretty clean snap but some of the branch is still hold on, with this I simply taped it together and used rope to knot it tight, I also used a stick to use and tie the branch and stick together for support. What I noticed what was quite interesting when I taped branch back, the side of the branch that didn’t break off completely was still providing growth to the leaves while the other side started getting weak and flimsy. I never would’ve guessed it would still be able to provide growth and still heal the snapped off part.

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2201 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Mars Hydro Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/1- I soaked both seeds for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged roughly 24 hours later. 12/3- Today the tap root on one of the seeds was about 1/4 to 3/8" so at 11 am I transferred it into a Jiffy Peat Pellet that was hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph using a tine off of a plastic fork as a 'mini trowel' to make a hole in the pellet and to gently cover the tap root, leaving only the seed head slightly exposed. This method accomplishes most of the initial work the seed has to do by eliminating having to orientate itself, push it's root down and head up. By 10pm the #1 seed had her cotyledon leaves opened ...calling the #2 a 'fail to germinate' and I'm not going to soak another... We'll let it ride with just one of this tester. 😉👍 12/5- Well this is Day ONE for the #1 FBT #2201! I'll keep her in the covered/heated Jiffy tray until I see her roots beginning to emerge from the peat pellet, then I'll transfer her gently into her 4g Gronest fabric pot from FastBuds. 12/7- Yesterday I checked her, she had roots starting to emerge from her pellet so tomorrow I'll transfer her into her 4g Gronest pot. 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Hi Guys here we go again with the fifth week of vegetation and one thing is for sure, there are still some... 👉 Lighting The Lumatek is now running at 160 watts at a distance of 30 cm. This corresponds approximately to a PPFD of 450. 👉 Pot size New in 19 liter pots. Soil has been enriched with green manure and mycorrhiza. 👉 Climate Has remained the same. Grow report vegitation phase day 29-35: -------------------------------------------- - Repotting at vegitation day from 3.5 liters to 19 liters - Adding Mykroriza fungi for a good microbiological life - Insertion of greenery through spinach in the top layer of soil - Roots looked very good, white and healthy - Drainage with expanded clay balls. approx. 5 cm - Plants have handled repotting well - Vegitation day 34: Multitopping - Mainlining - Vegitation day 35: LST with plant wire Have fun growing, HiSpycy 💜 Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

All cherry lime creams remain strong with just 1 trap keeper left. Very good looking plants and all have been topped. Still waiting on sex but we should know soon.

Week 2 Flower 09/04 Bllimburn Apple Fritter - Seedsman Critical +2.0 39 - 40inches - Increased Raw NPK feed ( Phosphorus - Potassium ) 2 teaspoons per gallon on each with Cal Mag, Flower Fuel and Floranova Bloom. Flowering processing accordingly. *End of week update 09/09* Both Apple Fritter and Critical are flowering accordingly. 3-4 Inch height increase Budsites looking healthy - No signs of deficiencies from nute feeds Main Colas were aggressively LST's to avoid light burn.

BIG BIG apologies to Heather from fast buds & to Growdiaries & anyone who follows. The past few months have been a massive struggle, not just with temperatures & growing weed but on a personal level. My wife has been very poorly & with covid and everything going on, it's put a massive strain on us all!! I've tries to maintain an active presence on Instagram but that's about all I've physically had time for. I've put this update together today, so far into the grow now it almost seems pointless. I lost my original Mimosa due to high temps & high RH. Moving into the attic at that time of year was a mistake. It has cost me a small fortune to keep things alive. I've had to purchase an air con unit, more fans & just more of everything to be honest. My purple punch is almost ready to harvest, any time within the next couple of days, followed shortly by Bruce Banner & Kosher cake. I wont be winning any awards for this Diary & I feel bad as I was supposed to be show casing what 420 Fast buds has to offer & I've failed...miserably. Another week donnnnnnne 💪🏽! Soo yeah the stretch has finished and the buds are stacking I fucked up a little at the start of the week, i set the lights to full power. She’s at 300watts. I turn the timer down to 11hours. But I didn’t realise it turned the timer off by mistake 😬 she ran 24 hours a day for two days 😫. I hope she don’t get pissy with me but so far so good. A part from that there noting to report on. No nutes this week just water. Until next week let’s get it 💪🏽!

Set up the tent cam to take a picture every 5 minutes during lights on so I can try and make a cool timelapse. I fed them kinda lightly and I think my EC might be a little low and thats why they're so light colored; they're hungry. I also had the light on 3 but now its on 2. Its sitting pretty high above them so I don't think it should be burning them. They show no signs of stretching however so they're definitely not getting too-little light at least.

Time for some light defoliation to allow more light penetration. Might gave gone a little overboard with the defoliation, I tend to do that.

Cooler weather outside means my garage and grow tent are cooler, which is a good thing. Sex Panther @STRNG seeds grew 1/2 inches this week and her buds continue to mature. We have a hurricane is the near future so I hope I don't lose electricity. This is week 3 out of a possible 10 weeks of flowering. It should be ready around October. I look forward to its sweet, fruity, pine, earthy and woody flavor which in turn will produce an uplifting, calming, focus and creative effect.
