The beginning of week 5! I think we are going into flower this week, signs are there. 7/22 (Day 35) - Started off week 5 with the most LST and Defoliation I have done and I was nervous. They needed it though, I was getting worried about mold and airflow through these bushy ladies, so I did my best and kinda followed my instinct. I did watch and read a ton of videos and articles and tried to put what I learned to use. I think these ladies are about to go into flower as well, started noticing the white pistols and where potential bud sites are going to be so I did my best to make those available to light and as even as possible. Will be letting them rest for a few days and reassess then. Everything continues to stay in check and the new dehumidifier worked awesome last night keeping the humidity in check. 7/23 (Day 36)- Didnt get any pictures this day. Pretty normal day, they drank 2 gallons and just continue to grow. I feel like they are just growing like crazy still and I think im starting to see them start stretching a bit more. 7/24 (Day 37)- Did the res change this morning, they are definitely starting to stretch and the bud sites seem to becoming more obvious. I went with more Veg neats after doing some reading, I may switch to bloom next week depending on how they are stretching. They fully recovered from the LST and defoliation two days ago. I decided to do a bit more today and focus on opening up light to sites that need them. Everything gets covered up so fast and I am having to defoliate a bit almost every other day it seems. 7/25 (Day 38)- Everytime I defoliate and do some LST they seem to bounce back so fast like next day. I did a bit more with the front left plant, she is lagging behind the others a bit, but that one has always seemed to be the runt. They are starting to form buds, especially back left plant which seems to have taken off a bit faster than the others. They are drinking almost 3 gallons a day! Everything continues to stay in check. I am debating if I should try scrogging or not, or just continue to LST and defoliate. Any input is welcome! 7/26 (Day 39) - Just kind of checked in on them and topped up the res today, Everything looks nice and healthy, all conditions are staying consistent and everyone is looking healthy. 7/27 (Day 40)- Did quite a bit of defoliation this morning. They needed it badly, a lot of the light was not getting through to under the canopy. Going to just keep an eye on them and see how they recover the next few days. Doing well, flipped to flower, looking forward to watching her fill up the 3x3. She's a heavy feeder so I'll need to stay ahead of that.

Getting beautiful and stinky down here! Buds are thickening up nicely and getting frosty! The aroma is like a dank basement and brushing a stem smells like bubblegum. UV-B still running for 30min just before the SE7000 turns on, providing 950 ppfd to the top bud sites. Feeding “week 8 Ripen” at light strength according to General Hydroponics 10 part table and with the addition of General Hydroponics Dry Kool Bloom at 2tsp/gal (x2 the strength of last week). I think that dry koolbloom dose may have been a little too aggressive though - I’ve had an explosion of new growth on the buds as well as some canoeing. I wish I had a meter to monitor co2, but that will be the next upgrade.

Two totally different bud structures on these girls both Gorilla Glue from 420 fastbuds one is also frostier then the other as well both fed exactly the same, same growth medium, same size pot, same nutes...everything. Very cool to see how different 👌

Into week 7 and all is good. All are in flower and swelling out very nicely. Ethos OG Kush is frosty and smells like a citrus grove. Barney's Purple is an absolute beast. Her stretch was impressive for an autoflower and she is almost 48in high. Her flowers are swelling nice and she has become much more fragrant in the last week. Fastbuds Zkittlez is frosty and swelling nice. She is also very fragrant, smelling like sweet candy. Seedsman Pink Kush CBD is doing well, beautiful dark purple flowers and leaves. Lights are still 18/6. No nutes. Monitoring trichomes daily looking for changes in color and clarity in preparation for harvest.

12/28 - growing nicely, plenty moisture so feeding will be a while. 12/30 - updated my feeding chart after some conversation with NPK rep. I will be removing the shoots from the "node 2" branches, then topping "node 2" and "node 3" branches later this week. Update: removed 2 shoots from node 2 branches, 2 left as they are smallish. 12/31 - she is doing really well! I may start training the branches sideways tonight! Happy New Years from BlumenBot!!! Shared a time-lapse video too! Update: trained her a bit 1/1/21 - made it to 2021! I removed the restraints for not to let her grow a bit more without additional stress. Hoping to feed Sunday 1/2 - restraints are back in place, mixed some feeding for tomorrow 1/3 - fed her then tried to train her and broke one of the 2 main branches right at the main stem....trying to graft it back together with some tape...not the first time I've broken a branch but the first time its completely broken off....we shall see how this goes....fuck! RAW feeding: 2L Distilled Water 2G Grow 0.18G Phosphorus 2G Microbes Grow 0.13G Enzymes 0.63G Amino Acids 6.0pH 676ppm 71.8*F Update: abandoning the graft attempt and just putting the broken branch in rockwool and right in the soil more or less in its original spot...experimentation at this point... 20 mins later the cut branch is already perking up!

Week 5 I believe and they’re doing great..topped them lil over a week ago. Thinking another week or two then flip to flower! 😎
