~ FastBuds PAPAYA SHERBET Photoperiod~ Well here we go on another journey together through 'Canna-land' and this one's kinda special... forget that, it's VERY special because this is FastBuds newest surprise for the community, a FEMINIZED PHOTOPERIOD STRAIN!🤯 I was fortunate enough to score these seeds, of which only 1000 were available and can't wait to see what this strain can do! This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 6/24- The FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod is now going into Week Seven from seed and is going strong! She has definitely increased her height and continues to sprout new growth! Her color and vigor also remain excellent having gotten past her early episode of getting her leaves chewed on. Today I top dressed the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod with 2 cups of Gaia Green 4-4-4 along with 1 cup of Down To Earth Bio-Fish 7-7-2 and 1/2g of Wiggle Worm castings. After top dressing and working the amendments in by hand I replaced the straw coating over the soil and watered them in with 3g of straight well water via garden hose as usual. 6/26- Our summer is here and we're under an early heat wave this week with daytime temp's hitting the mid to upper 90's ℉ with heat indexes in the low 100's ℉... in short, IT'S FNG HOT!🔥🔥🔥 I'm watering the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photo daily now with 5g of straight well water from the garden hose. I'm watering at sundown so that the water will have some time to soak down into the soil before the heat evaporates it. The coating of straw that I previously spread over the soil around her base has helped a lot as well. 6/28- Our weather is HOT now with heat indexes over 100℉ so I'm watering the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod every day with 5g of straight well water from the garden hose in the late afternoon once the plant is in the shade. Other than the ever present leaf hoppers, which love the leaves but leave the flowers alone, and an occasional Japanese Beetle, there aren't any serious pest issues currently. The FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod continues to have excellent color and vigor, continuing to add new growth and increase her height, it seems daily! 6/30- The weather continues to relentlessly bake everything outside... And so, the daily watering continues!🌱🚿 Another healthy week for the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod and I hope to see many more ahead! So, guys.. This is her first month blooming. 4 complete weeks has passed. Here we are for 2 more. Gave Her a super powerful egg shell fert (all powdered - Phosforium Whelthy.) 07/10/20 - We are in the middle of week 5. Thats the way they look like. For me a good number of buds and they are as dense as I thought they would be by this time. I think everything is under control despite some foxtails cuz the heat. Loving the experience.

This week was a busy one in the gardens! After a 7 day dry my harvest from last week was ready to come down! It did dry out a little quicker than I'd like, but still went in the jar around 57% and still smells really terpy and not like hay. I kept the humidity around 50-60% in the dry room however I didn't supplement humidity with a humidifier, i do have an ACI humidifier, but I didn't wanna run it in the summer and accidentally mold the crop! I just ran my dehumidifier at that setting so maybe it got a little dry in there! I trimmed all 5 plants in one day to prevent over drying in about 13 hours. I used a trim bin, trim brush by canna brush and a normal pair of springed shears. I'm curing in Mason jars now. I was able to move the plants in the tiny Mars Hydro Clone tent to my flowering tent. My Vivosun 4x8x6, under my HLG Blackbird at setting 1 to get adjusted. This week I'll get my par meter back from my grow bro and get a good reading. Im going to be transplanting these plants to their final containers as soon as I hit the local grow shop and grab a little more soil! After that I'll adjust the par for full veg and let them really rage! It feels good to finally get some space for them. My larger tent is way better equipped ventilation wise as well, I have 4 clip fans and my 8 inch exhaust fan in there. I currently have the tent sitting at 74-71°F and 56% Humidity. Ethos: Lilac Diesel #22 (x) Grandpa's Cookies #7- This Seedling has a decent internode spacing between it's branches and is keeping them mostly even with very little low stress training. I have been bending the top most branches to help the plant get a little bushier! It's leaves are very dark and doing a little clawing so I'm holding off on the Trinity by Roots Organic! It doesn't appear to bad! It's main stalk is very thick and reminds me of Raspberry Ripple #1! When it's in veg! I'm excited to see if this plant is one I'll keep around or not! I'm definitely hoping it's stretch in flower is containable in my shorter space! Raspberry Ripple Clones (#1 and #2)- The Number One Phenos are looking beefy already, one plant is starting to yellow just a little bit and looks like it could use a transplant here soon! Other than that these ladies are raging as usual. The higher ppfd has kept them really bushy and symmetrical. The Number 2s are still looking really healthy but are the smallest plants in the garden as usual! Finished Flowers (Raspberry Ripple #1 and #2)- This harvest definitely hits a lot harder than my last one! Having the microscope to really get a good look at my trichomes and pushing the plants and extra two weeks really made a big difference! Ripple #1- These buds are big and purple! Decently frosted! The leathery, black licorice smell Ripple #1 gives off, is really strong this round! The harvest weighed 7oz 25 grams, 6 oz and 16 grams of "A" Nugs, and 1 oz 9 grams of popcorn buds! Ripple #2- The Ripple #2 is a little less dense than the #1 but it is pretty frosty and smells like a mixture of yogurt and hazy weed. This harvest weighed 5 oz 20 g, 4 oz and 6 grams of decent sized nugs and 1 oz 13 grams of popcorn nugs. Giving me a total harvest of 13 oz and 17 grams, 10 oz and 20 grams of "A" nugs and 2 oz and 23 grams of popcorn nugs. In a 4 x 4. That pretty much sums up the harvest and this week! 08/25 dry weight came in at 157 grams. Very happy with the second round grow of GG4, she produced a lot more bud with the extra veg time. While I enjoyed this strain, I am moving on from her, to other strains. Thanks for checking out my grow! 👽🌳🔥💚

Slowly lowering day temperature to get smallest diferencies between day/night temps for smoother better terpies And humidity lowering under 50% helps buds get densier . Still ONLY water .

Had some dramas this week with root rot , I managed to save the sugar daddy but this one really suffered .. 😢

Une des 2 en retard a redémarrer, la 2eme toujours bloqué et petite , elle grandit pas , les autres par contre sa pousse a vu d'œil je vous laisse voir la différence entre la semaine dernière et cette semaine ou pile 7 jours se sont écoulés, ph 5,78 ec 1,57 , tripart et plagron , amélioration de l'humidificateur d'air ! Et amélioration du vent avec un gros ventilateur oscillant, 30 min on 30 min off pour bien agiter les plante pour simuler le vent et renforcé les branches , amélioration de l'extraction et intracteur d'air avec filtre , passage de diamètre 120 a 200 pour l'extraction et a 150 pour lintracteur, fini les odeurs !

Moin alle zusammen diese Woche war wieder nicht viel los. 23.03.23 Giessen 3L Wasser und 0,5L Compost Tee danach eine leichte entlaubung um den Luftstrom zu erhöhen und etwas mehr Licht in das Blätterdach zu bekommen. 24-26.03.23 chillen und genießen 😋 27.03.23 Giessen nur Wasser (ab gestanden ohne Ph Anpassung) 3,5L 28-29.03.23 chillen und genießen😇 Edid: zum Geruch der Moschus Ton ist weg daraus ist in dieser Woche eine zarte Karamell Note geworden die die Haupt note ananas küsst wirklich eine sehr leckere Geruchs combination zudem wird der Geruch von Tag zu Tag intensiver und es mischt sich der typische Gras Geruch drunter aber nicht zu aufdringlich! Das wars für diese Woche ihr growmies!

Die volle Blüte Die Blüte ist in vollem Gange! Die Pflanze streckt sich kräftig und entwickelt schöne Blütenstände. Der DLI wurde sukzessive auf 40-45 angehoben. Der Düngeplan bleibt unverändert. * Zustand der Pflanze: Kräftiger Blütestretch, erste Blütenstände sichtbar. * Wichtige Ereignisse: Anhebung des DLI. * Düngung & Messwerte: * Gießwasser: pH ca. 6,3. Leitwert 1,4 bis 2 S. * Drain: Wir stellen sicher, dass der pH-Wert nicht unter 5,5 und nicht über 6,8 liegt und der Leitwert die +/- 500 S Abweichung einhält. * Anpassungen: Wir haben die Blume diesmal einfach nur ohne jedes Training wachsen lassen. Ein Arm ist jedoch beim trainieren diese Woche geknickt und wurde mit einem Strohhalm geschieht. (ungewolltes HST).

Just picked this little lady up from Dr. Greenthumbs in DTLA. It's a Magic Melon Auto started by Dark Heart Nursery on 2-28-20. Current set up: - Vivosun grow tent (36x20x62) - Mars Hydro TS 1000W LED - Vivosun 4in Inline Fan & 4in Carbon Filter - Oscilating Fan 4in This week's training: LST Tie Down - Tied down the top to be at the level of the next node to channel the auxins to the lower nodes and start widening the canopy

Last week was very challenging, two girls got really tall below the white light, while the other two below the blurple spectrum ended up being smaller and bushier, both looking fantastic. Last week I also probably went too far defoliating the shaded smaller girl which stunned it a bit for a day or two but its flowering vigorously again. Although the unexpected stretch which led to uneven light coverage overally the platns are looking solid, smelly and sugary :)

1/9: packing on weight. I let em get a little to hungry before top dressing them, think it was about 3 weeks since last top dressing of 1/4 cup of craft blend BAS in their 3 gallon pots. So gave em a nice tea to catch them up. Added some kashi on top to help speed up the break down process. Smells are really starting to kick in. Not my favorite. Definitely spicy, limy, piney. But very loud. A lot of variation in The phenotype. Got 2 short bushy and two long and spread out, and one bushy and green and one bushy and purple. One plant I knocked over during transplant so that could have effected its pheno with stress. But the other is naturally short.

I put the seed into glass of water for 18hrs, right after directly into the potting soil. usually after 3-4 days they schow their heads. Lets see how it goes. :D

I didn't do a lot on this one, but he goes on his own like a big boy!!
