Es ist soweit! Am Freitag habe ich die fünf Easy Buds nach knapp 11 1/2 Wochen abgeschnitten und geerntet. Leider musste ich feststellen, dass eine Pflanze ziemlich stark befallen war. Ich vermute eine Milbenart oder möglicherweise Fliegeneier. Unterhalb der Blätter waren etliche dunkelgelbe und dunkelbraune Eier, die man auf den ersten Blick kaum erkennen konnte. Bei genauerem Hinsehen sieht man jedoch, dass sich der Befall auf die ganze Pflanze ausgeweitet hatte. Glücklicherweise blieben die vier anderen Pflanzen verschont. Aus diesem Grund trockne ich die Pflanzen auch getrennt voneinander. Die befallene Pflanze wollte ich nicht direkt wegwerfen, sondern erstmal trocknen lassen. Im Nachhinein werde ich schauen, wie ich mögliche Schadensbegrenzung betreiben kann. Die vier gesunden Pflanzen werden in einem geschlossenen Zelt in einem Trocknungsbeutel getrocknet. Die befallene Pflanze habe ich in dem Folienzelt aufgehängt und mit einer Plane abgedeckt. Nach wenigen Tagen der Trocknung sieht soweit eigentlich alles gut aus. Die Eier scheinen nicht mehr zu schlüpfen, sondern fallen von der Blüte ab oder verschrumpeln zu Kompost. Ich hoffe, dass es dabei bleibt. Der Geruch hat sich nach dem Abschneiden deutlich verändert. Schon nach der kurzen Trocknungszeit kann ich einen intensiveren Geruch feststellen, der sich noch nicht so richtig beschreiben lässt. Die Blüten waren stark mit den sogenannten "Sugar Leaves" verwachsen, weshalb ich sie grob getrimmt habe, um sie zum Trocknen aufzuhängen. Nachdem die Blüten vollständig getrocknet sind, werde ich die Buds noch einmal einzeln trimmen und durch meine Trimm-Maschine von Vevor jagen. Der Ernteprozess hat zu zweit circa eine Stunde gedauert. Die Pflanzen waren zum Zeitpunkt der Ernte noch sehr gesund und kräftig. Die Verwurzelung war trotz des geschlossenen Topfes sehr gut. Die schönste Bud hat definitiv die zentrale Pflanze, Greta, ergeben. Nass hätte ich den Bud auf mindestens 12 g geschätzt. Ein Gesamtgewicht des nassen Pflanzenmaterials habe ich nicht ermittelt. Sobald alles trocken und fertig beschnitten ist, werde ich das Tagebuch um den trockenen Betrag ergänzen. Stand jetzt würde ich schätzen, dass der Ertrag aller Pflanzen bei circa 40-50 g liegt, was mich für meinen ersten Grow ziemlich zufrieden stellt, besonders in Anbetracht dieser wirklich sehr simplen Strain. This plant streched a lot the last week, she's showing quite some 'white hairs' already and she's nice and green, the weather has been good these days, hopefully it stays like this 😁

📆 Semana 5 El estiramiento queda completamente atrás y los erizos ya están bien formados en cada punta, compactos y uniformes. Los cálices continúan apilándose con orden y empieza a notarse un aumento real de densidad, aún sin llegar al engorde máximo. La resina comienza a cargarse con más presencia, cubriendo brácteas y hojas cercanas, anticipando la fase de volumen que está por venir. Los pistilos siguen activos y blancos, manteniendo el ritmo de construcción floral. La estructura permanece equilibrada, bien expuesta y sin estrés, con la energía centrada en consolidar flores y potenciar la producción de tricomas. Seguimos creciendo fuerte 💪!

Week 6 of flower - At the end of this week I defoliated down to mostly bud and sugar leaves for the final stretch. I fed them normal with no HP2. Feed this week was 1.25 gallons two times with about 4 days between. 750ppm total before add-ins. I used 750ppm Bloom concentrate mix (recipe week 5). However, I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) to all feeds. PH balance this week was 6.3. Next week I will add the HP2 back again while reducing the nutes for flush.

First off, I hope all who visit this journal watch the timelapse. I'm very happy with how it turned out. The GSC is in the foreground. Comparing the beginning to the end shows just how dramatically my plant has grown in the past week. This plant now has a photo-period neighbor! I have changed the light schedule back to 18-6 to accommodate. Her chronicles will be in a separate journal. Towards the end of week two, I noticed the leaves were forming brown spots that I took as a sign of calcium deficiency. To treat this, I used a gallon of (hard) tap water, adding calcium to the reservoir. Luckily this seems to have done the trick! The spots have been absent on all subsequent leaf growth. Sometime in the middle of this week, I had to re balance the pH from ~7 to ~6. Perhaps this pH fluctuation came from the tap water transfusion. In an effort to raise the RH in the tent, I've repetitively spilled a small amount of water on the floor of the tent. Doing this keeps the RH around 45-50%. I've made some other small changes to my grow setup as shown in the pictures. Prior to this week, I'd thought my plant was hopelessly behind developmentally compared to other user's because I'd compare their week two plants to mine. Luckily, this week has seen some growth! It's crazy how fast they shoot off after their first three-fingered leaves form. The first "real" set of leaves to grow in (not three-fingered yet), seemed to take forever to grow into their full size while not much else (besides the roots) seemed to grow. This week's three-pointed leaves have practically fully formed already. Alongside them, are the beginnings of yet more leaves! I'm not certain what I will do this next week. I may start LSTing this plant, though I'm not sure when exactly I should do this. My original plan for my plants was to implement a screen of green using a trellis. I have sense realized this may not be the best approach while using a DWC, because water changed would be made much more difficult. Have any of you DWC growers experiment with this? Is it worthwhile? I will likely not replace the water for another week, though that's not set in stone. I appreciate any advise regarding the training techniques I mentioned, water switch outs and anything else that may be relevant to this grow. I will more than likely ask a few designated questions. The plants bounced back after the defoliation and a watering with Squid concentrate and some water that had banana peels soaked in it for a few days. I just got the Fox Farms trio of nutes and will introduce those on the next watering.....probably tomorrow. Now, to search for what the light patches on the leaves are. Hmmmm?

12/28 - 1/3: Another busy week with life... Last fed on Sunday 1/3 The plants are all budding up well and frosting over quite early! I am hoping to remove the smallest three plants from this closet and move them into the tiny tent in the next couple of days..flushing the autos in there today (1/3). That will hopefully give the bigger girls a little room to spread their wings.

Week 7 we can see the beauty behind exotic genetics creation. Strawberry candy terps present heavily at this point.

Day 100 Day 57 Flower 06/07/24 Saturday Flushed with de-chlorinated tap water today pH 6.0. Flushing using 10L of water with Flawless finish- I'll be using this every other flush. , getting 50% run off, I can't measure ppm, I have ordered the tool to start learning this way also. I haven't measured run off ppms before so will be interesting to see. Smelling pungent, deep greens of colour coming through, hoping over the next 2 weeks she swells as she is not as dense as I was hoping 😅 Day 10day 58 Flower 07/07/24 Sunday No feed /water today letting her dry off a little more. Updated with a short 🤩💚 Day 102 Day 59 Flower 08/07/24 Monday De-chlorinated tap Water 5L pH 6.0 + 3L Water +calmag 5ml to keep her from deficiency during 1st week of flush. Updated a short video 😁 She's getting there. Day 103 Day 60 Flower 09/07/24 Tuesday No water, letting her dry off again ABIT, noticing a huge amount of trichome production, updated a short to see 😍. Day 104 Day 61 Flower 10/07/24 Wednesday Another 10L flush today , de-chlorinated tap water pH 6.0 with flawless finish. 10ml flawless finish to 10L water. Updated pictures and video. Day 105 Day 62 Flower 11/07/24 Thursday Last day of the week, another big flush today! 10L de-chlorinated tap water pH 6.0 with 10ml Flawless finish 👌 Trichomes...😍 She maybe a 21 day flush we'll see how she goes next week with ripening. This plant grew small and compact about 2 feet tall. The plant with the most trichomes was heavily cropped before flowering began. She’s very earthy with a hint of lemon, and probably the fastest maturing strain of grown yet.

Only 3/4 sprouted so I’m going with that. I don’t have any extra seeds. I am very happy tho because my last grow 4 was a lot in my setup. I want to see how much I can train 3 plants and how much bigger I can get them. I also have to order seeds this run and get more soil. Very excited

Wow going into the 3. Week of Flower. The plants have exploded since switching to 12/12 . #7 have close to doubled in size and are easily filling the second Trellis layer. #6 has also gotten bigger but it seems to have filled in more then shot up in height.. Will do a big defoiliate next Saturday. Will take everything below the first trellis including branches on #7  that do not reach the second trellis Turned IR to 75% 9-25-22 Feed the plants , they are looking great, but are ready for some trimming. Evening update: really don't know why but checked my soil this evening before lights turned off for the day and discovered it was bone dry. Watered the plants . Sure hope it starts cooling down soon. Temp in tent was upper 80's today, a tad warmer then wanted. 9-26-22 Plants seemed to have plenty of water left this morning, but might need checked on tonight. I am surprised that the plants are still stretching. Cheezy Puff & Cookies &Stash are much taller then the POG. The POG is more of a compact flower compared to the other two. The Flowers on all 3 are developing beautifully. 9-27-22 Day 17 It is amazing how much taller the Cheezy Puff as well as the Grandpa's Stash are compared to the POG All 3 look extremely happy and healthy and are developing plenty of bud sites. Feed plants this morning 9-28-22 Day 18 Is it only me that gets excited everyday when it's time to open the tent and feed the girls? Flowers are looking great but are ready for a trim! The incoming weather has me a little concerned, woke up to tent having RH of 70% closed the window and hope that helps 9-30-2022 day 20 The last two days have been tough on me and the geow. We got smashed by hurricane Ian and have been without electricity for the last 48 h with no end in sight. Opened the tent the last 2 days hoping the plants will get at least some daylight. With all the humidity in the air, the tent was at rh 98% when I opened it first this morning. Even after hours being opened the RH is still hovering around 75% Hope we get electricity back in the next 24h

Candyman is now Day 22 of flower! The smells are beautiful 2 smell more gassy and one smells more lemon now. They are drinking a lot every 2 days now, I've took a lot of leaves off and lower bud spots to give the tops more energy the finish line is fast approaching now and I can't wait 😍 Day 26 of flower and they are stinking they smell like gassy shit 🤣 but my last run of skywalker did that and was unreal smoke, so 🤞🏻 Update: Day 78, Day 28 of flower! It's the start of week 4 today and the colours are starting to change 😍 smelling and getting frosty by the day now. Really can't wait to try these girls out ✌️🏻

🌱 Day 43 - Beginning of the Third Flowering Week 🌱 Hello grow friends! 🌿 Today marks the start of the third week of the flowering phase. This week, I’m trying to adjust my nutrients a bit. I plan to slightly increase BioBizz Grow, as well as BioBizz Bloom, according to the feeding schedule. 🌱💧 I’m continuing to prune and thin out the plants a little each day, aiming to keep them stress-free. ✂️😊 The terpenes and buds are developing wonderfully so far, but I’m still struggling with very high humidity levels. 🌡️💦 Since my grow setup is on the second floor and we’re currently experiencing humid temperatures here in Germany, it’s been a challenge. I’m trying to reduce the humidity from 62% down to 50% during the day, but it’s proving difficult. 🌬️📉 I’ll keep you updated on how things progress! 🌿✨ 🌱 Day 47 - Everything is Going Well 🌱 Watering and Nutrients Today, I watered and fed the plant again. 🌿💧 Each plant received 1 liter, which is about 10% of the pot's volume. The plant is responding well to the nutrients, and growth is steady. Defoliation and Light Exposure I’ve done some light defoliation to ensure that every part of the plant gets proper light exposure. ✂️💡 My goal is to avoid any shadowed areas, allowing the buds to develop fully. Temperature Management The temperature is still quite high, reaching 27-28°C during the day. 🌡️🔥 I’m finding it difficult to bring it down, but the plant seems to be handling it well. To maintain a healthy environment, I keep both the fan and the exhaust system running on the highest setting, ensuring good air circulation. 🌬️🔄 Humidity Control Currently, the humidity is sitting at around 45-50%. 💧 It’s not perfect, but I’m monitoring the plant closely and making adjustments as needed. Careful Defoliation I continue to remove one or two leaves each day to minimize stress on the plant. 🍃🌿 This slow, careful defoliation ensures that the plant stays healthy while making sure all buds have access to light. After some research I decided to go for Advanced Nutrients for all amendments. Starting slow and building towards flower, then adding some Bud Candy. These plants really took off lol, shit got out of hand and I let them run a little, I'm definitely a habitual defoliator, I cant stop clipping when I really should just let them be, anyway I moved the tent out of the Closet space as its a friendlier time of year so they don't need the extra protection, kinda why I let them go, Season 1 needed to be smaller in height as they would have suffered outside the tent. Still topped and administered some LST, tried some clips out, but they were far too small and ended up snapping a stem. Would like to give them a go again but will research a bit more next time and not just go for Amazon crap. So far in terms of holding things down I really like the early pegs in the soil approach. I also tried some trellis netting this time, definitely like it and will be more prepared next time. Had to bail for an Easter break so a buddy came through and watered in nuets for me. SKOG was noticeably more Sativa-esque, thinner, stretchier. Runtz with the fatter leaves.
