Thursday 16th march day 59 Harvested a couple days earlier then planned as my humidity was getting a bit high and worried about risking mold I decided to chop, have to get a good dehumidifier soon, everything looking lovely, nice and dense with very strong fruity potent smell definitely the best looking plants I have grown to date not the biggest buds but they look quality, chopped plants whole gonna do my best to keep the temp and rh% in the dry room as close 60/60 as I can to get a nice slow dry, 🍁😎 I only took the wet weight from 1 plant back left plant was 270g with large fan leaves removed

I can never talk bad on auto flowers. I did not pay much attention to these girls and it shows but the genetics from FASTBUDS were so good that the quality of the buds was still A1. I bought more FASTBUDS seeds and will grow them in my new setup and hopefully I can maximize the yields this time around.

Now that the final curtain has been drawn.. or tent flap, it is with a sad heart that we at the "In the Closet with Two Strains" Studio will be saying goodbye. She was never the most impressive plant, kept feeling like she would bloom more but the conditions were never truly right for her. Both plants had their branches sliced at the stem and large leaves removed, this purposely slowed drying down to maximise end flavour. They were both washed in cleaning pools to prepare them for their final journey in the tent. With a sad heart we wish you farewell Buddy, we will see you and Powell soon... IN OUR SMOKE REPORT! Week 9: Day 57-60: So... I'm in love with these White Cracks! #1's Main cola coupled with that PHAT ass double bud has got my wouth watering! I was worried it would be a bit too early on day 73 for #2 and #3 but they seem to be catching up qickly and are really only a few days behind #1. I can throw everything at #2 in terms of nutes and she just eats it up, what a surprise pheno after the VERY bushy and compact structure of her first 3.5 weeks. Buds are very dense on all 3 plants and SUPER frosty! They enjoy an upped dose of Calmg on day 60! Day 61-63: They are starting to show their fall colors ever so slightly, and the temperatures are going to be 2C cooler from here on out, so hoping for a little extra color 😉 Gave em all a nice final feed of bloom nutes on Day 63. #1 has about 85-95% white pistils and #2 and #3 have about 45-55% orange pistils. #1 is about 70% milky with a 5% amber and #2 and #3 are about 50-60% milky and a few amber here and there. Looking forward to these last 10 day! will be giving them PH'd water with regulator until harvest in 10 days. I only have time on Day 73-74 to harvest which I don't mind. I'm hoping this will create a varience in the type of effect every plant has to offer! Oh and these White Crack overpower the 4AM in terms of smell by quite a large amount. I can't smell the 4AM in the tent with these 😂 EDIT: Oh and just wanted to say thank you for all the help you all have given me so far! I went ahead and germinated 4 seeds originally by first soaking in a glass of tap water for 12 hours then placing in pre-moistened Peat Pellets, of which all four were successful. Two however looked like they they might not make it, so I germinated 3 more by first soaking for 12 hours, then placed on moist paper towels for 48 hours. I checked them on the third day and all had sprouted. I then planted the additional 3 seedlings next to the ones already in pots and will wait 5-7 days to see which look the best, then cull the 3 'losers'. 10/12- Yesterday, I went ahead and ran the AirCube system manually today to give them their first feed. I have the reservoir filled with 60L of well water which was adjusted to 6.2ph @ 75℉. I then added 60ml each of Plagron Cocos 'A' and Cocos 'B' and 30ml of Plagron Power Roots to the reservoir and, after mixing thoroughly, readjusted the ph to 6.3 @ 75℉. I then ran the AirCube system on the 'Fill' setting for 10 minutes. While the system was filling the pots, I used a soil hydrometer to monitor the moisture level in the medium to make sure that I had the floats in the 'Brain Bucket' that control how much solution flows through the system adjusted correctly. Everything worked flawlessly with all of the pots getting saturated, then fully drained... excellent! 10/14- I ran the AirCube system again today after checking the ph of the reservoir which had risen to 8.0 due to off gassing of CO2 which occurs because of the large air stone I have in the reservoir to oxygenate the water in it. I adjusted the ph to 6.2 using SaferGrow's PH Down which BTW I love! After adjusting the ph, I ran the system manually for 10min, then drained it. I have the HLG 650R hung @ 28" above canopy and have it set to 45% power on a 19/5 cycle via a TrolMaster HydroX Controller. Tent temp's are running 80-82℉ with the lights on, 74-75℉ during the dark cycle. RH is being maintained by a 1.5g humidifier at 63% currently resulting in a 1.41kPa VPD. 10/17- Well there goes the first week for these three girls and so far, so good! They all have good color and leaf structure and I'm just waiting for them to take off now. I ran one manual feed cycle today for 15min upping the ppm's to 700, then drained the pots. I'll start gradually increasing the feed schedule along with the ppm of the nutrients starting next week... See you there!💚

As my previous experience, I decided to use 10L pots, which is the best ratio I had last year regarding quantity/soil. First week only with plain water, no Ph regulation

Early week 6 update (i'll add more pictures and comments as needed): Unfortunately I hit some challenges! Light got way too close and stunted growth for a day. I noticed it on tips closest to the light only. Raised lamp to 22 inches. Indica bagseed (plant in the center front) got too stacked: stuff like leaves on top of each other with lots of moisture, no light/airflow penetration, etc. I did some basic LST, leaf tucking, net tucking, to open her up and go sideways more a bit at first. It helped a bit. Unfortunately aug 27, had to get more aggressive on this beast and remove 3 shade leaves on the right side. not happy about defoliating, but had to do it. Will see how she takes it and then look at left side on a later day. Growing the first time is educational and actually therapeutic in today's world for me. I've already learned so many lessons for the net time: don't need such a yuge pot, lamp brightness/distance, air circulation!!! Thank you to everyone that responds with positive encouragement/messaging, it really helps. Adding two more fans to help air circulation aug 28. hopefully it reduces the need to desecrate the plants! Meanwhile the plants in back (purple canyon) want to stretch their faces off, esp. the one in back left, so it is a balance. I only have so much vertical height :) aug 29, flipped to 12/12. plants are happy and i want to control the space for first grow. let's see how it goes. updated the humidity for the week to ~ 60. Ida etc has made it miserable, it should get better soon.

This week was great, I flipped her to flower and pistils began sprouting. Ready to see her nug up.

------GENERAL COMMENT------ This week was very flat and steady, girls are growing very well and leafs got sharper. They have got a new defoliation session, and a bit of supper cropping to make steams stronger. Nothing fancy, just training to an even or more even canopy. ------GG.AK47 COMMENT------ Girl is growing with intensity, shooting various bud spots, i'm having a very good feeling about the outcome from her! Tips are a bit lighter, nothing to get overwhelm.

Hey fellow growers .. today is day 55 of flower or 130 total .. she's a Jamaican landrace so I'm guessing 3 more weeks ... Today was her first flush so no more nutes.... her trichomes are getting swollen and they are everywhere on the nugs themselves... especially for a full sativa .. she is going to be worth the wait...
