She’s growing nicely

Wow well she's finally finished! Crispy dry so it's time to weigh up. Over 200g!!!!!!!!! That's not bad FastBuds!! Well done guys. Very strong genetics. She grew well throughout. Also I'm currently making QWISO from all the leftover trim. Lets see how much it makes when it's all evaporated off. Update: I have a solid 6g of extract from all the otherwise wasted trim from this 1 plant! Will last ages 😁

Plants are ready for its 48 hours of darkness . Than will harvest . Harvesting with mostly cloudy trichomes with a little amber. plants took aboit 15 weeks from seed to finish.

this little shogun that could has stretched to the max! She is actually a little big bush now. Too bad this season was not as ideal as it could have been. She has started to flower 7 to 8 weeks to go.

Reduced the humidity further, set it to ~40% right now, but since we're in a severe heat-wave in germany right now (we are peaking at 30°C indoors and ~33°C in our "growroom") our dehumidifier is working overtime. Defoliating every few days, leaving us with sticky fingers and scissors. Buds are developing fine and growing very quickly in size. Leaves are getting more and more frosty, even removed some when defoliating and took a look at the trichomes under our mikroskopic lense. Very beautiful and dense trichome-structure; especially on the buds. The red-purple coloured parts of the buds, mentioned last week, are developing nicely and much quicker than expected. Even spotted some milky trichomes on the headbud here and there.

02 Feb 2022 Update: I noticed a strange chromatic coloring on some leaves of the "older" plants, a couple of the smaller plants have small brown spots on the leaves ... i also noticed that the grow tent is quite hot and the ground is quite dry, could be that the watering maybe is not enough, so from today i'll give a bit more water. I didn't expect that kind of temp from a led, adjusting the watering should goes better. In the last couple of days I have been noticing an increase in the speed of growth. The little BlackBerry Banana is staying small but is making new leaves that look healthier than the plant was born, I wait another week before deciding what to do but most likely I will pull her out of the tent and she will grow as an outdoor plat looking out the window 😂 Light regime ☀️21/3🌑 temp ☀️22/26.9 🌑 19.5/22 humidity 59% 08 Feb 2022 Update: After a little thinking i decided and Ijust moved the small BlackBerry Banana plant out the tent for a "Free" grow ☃️🌈🌤️ 😅😅 More air/co2 space and lamp ☀️ for the other 8 plants. On week 7 she is still putting out a lot of new pistils. Colas are fattening up but still have a few more weeks to go. The smell is sweet and fruity so far but its still early as trichs are still developing. Her top colas got a little too close to the lights and may be fox tailing or shes just more sativa of a pheno either way shes making some long colas and Im happy about that :)

The hermaphroditic of the two S.A.D.s has stopped, in total it remained at 4x 🍌 Since 5 days no more were added and I could already observe via my timelapse recordings how the flowers continue to grow. The Bruce Banner also shows no further deterioration in terms of potassium deficiency, the flowers continue to grow steadily. Although the S.A.D.'s were fertilized identically, neither of them show any major deficiency. Also interesting how S.A.D. #4 has overtaken her sister and her smell is not "grassy" at all. Something between floral with a sweet citrus/orange note. What also surprised me was that the Bruce Banner is already very far along in the development of its trichomes, many are already milky!

The girls have survived another week ❤️ I did a light defoliation and have been monitoring the RH closely. We have had a very damp week here, and the RH kept climbing and had my fan working hard. They are starting to plump up and fill in 😋. They have also started to slow their drinking habits, instead of watering every three days, it has moved to every 4 now. Just a couple of weeks left, I think I will be harvesting these over Christmas 🎄, and will have some great bud ready for the new year! 🎉🎊🍾

It time for push and tuck. I did the feeding for transition ( 1:1:1 ratio). I watch them for about 3 hours, then turn the lights out for 24-36 hours. This depletes the hormone that says veg and switches to flowering. Espoma seed starter mix : 1 TBSP Jobe’s Citrus Fruits : 1 TBSP 3 TBSP earth worm castings 1/4 tsp recharge Aerated for 30 hours at 68 degrees ( nice and frothy 😂😂) 1 gallon of water 750-765 ppms at 1:1:1 ratio. This will last for the first 6-7 days, then we switch to 1:3:2 ratio. I will list what I use for 1:3:2 as it will change from week to week. 10-18 Lights are out for 30 hours and we will see how they look. Lights go back on at 6am EST. 10-19 The lights are kicking. Did some tucking. I did 30 hours of dark before introducing 12-12 light schedule. I can see some of the pre-flower hairs sticking out. 8-8-8 at 760 something ppm’s went well. This is the first run I will be hand feeding the plants throughout flower. I relied on dry amendments and had some success, but I think I can push the bar higher having more control over the feedings. I will be doing a total of 8 feedings. 10-22 The trellis is filling up!!! I added photosynthesis plus to the mix and some fulvic/humic acid. All the ladies are praying up.

Day 49 Everything stayed same. They really starting to sink.

So the hubby has been growing this strain (in soil) for approx 9 weeks. It took some wearing him down but eventually after many batches of freshly baked cookies I finally convinced him to cut me a clone, and an apex clone at that. #truelove It took about 3 weeks to root (unintentionally caused a lock out by attempting to grow roots in the same water/nutrient mix we were giving the 5 wk plant) #lessonlearned She’s since recovered and has grown a beautiful root system. Let’s see where we end up

All in all this was an amazing harvest I usually have around 8-10 plants and harvest anywhere from 24-36 ozs per harvest with the 8 plants I had this harvest including the biscotti mintz and cookies USA I ended up with 898g total dry weight with all top quality flower. I’ve learned some things with all my previous runs when it comes to dialing in my quality and yield and definitely watching for those herms because I like to push my plants to the max when it comes to training !
