Es war eine sehr gemischte Woche mit viel Regen, etwas Sonne und eine Menge Wind. Die Durban Poison lässt sich davon wenig beeindrucken, sie ist am Stock festgebunden, steht kerzengerade und lässt ihre Buds weiter anschwellen. Leider habe ich bei sehr genauem Hinsehen doch ein welkes verdrehtes Blatt in einer Blüte gefunden und dieses mit der Blüte sofort entfernt. Weiteres Untersuchen brachte aber keine weiteren beginnenden Schimmelstellen zum Vorschein. 100% schommelfrei ist sie also nicht... Das Wetter ist jedoch sehr schimmelförderlich zur Zeit. Ich freue mich schon auf die Ernte, in ca. zwei Wochen dürfte es soweit sein und und dann benötige ich viiiel Platz zum Trocknen. Die DP ist dieses Jahr etwas kleiner als im Jahr davor, was sicherlich an der Düngemenge im Topf in der Vegetationsphase liegt. Entscheidend wird sein, ob das Entlauben etwas am Erntergebnis verbessern wird. Letztes Jahr hatte ich mehr Blätter an der Pflanze gelassen. The Durban Poison is not particularly affected by this; it is tied to the stake, stands straight as a die and continues to swell its buds. Unfortunately, upon closer inspection, I did find a wilted, twisted leaf in one of the flowers and immediately removed it along with the flower. Further examination revealed no other signs of mould. So it's not 100% mould-free... However, the weather is very conducive to mould at the moment. I'm looking forward to the harvest, which should be ready in about two weeks, and then I'll need a lot of space for drying. The DP is a little smaller this year than last year, which is certainly due to the amount of fertiliser in the pot during the vegetation phase. The decisive factor will be whether defoliation will improve the harvest yield. Last year, I left more leaves on the plant. Thank you very much for visiting and best wishes for a mould-free week! 😀

First week of flower!

So after conferring with one of my dispensary-grower friends, he said that its likely because I had "dry patches", which essentially means, that certain areas of the pot were not getting wet and the roots down there were dying. After being more attentive about evenly watering, and a little defolitation, she's back to looking her old self. Even better actually. She's loving flowering, almost to the point of screaming to me "FINALLY!", and I couldn't agree more. Its been a chilhood dream to be abke to grow my own weed. So after all these years, I am beyond excited. Its so close I can almost *smell* it lol. SideNote: I also took two cuts for clones incase this bud turns out to be bomb.

Day late on the update, pics/vids were taken on time tho just been a crazy week of harvests and trimming and keeping up with these. Reason I went with Rain Science is because they offer identical air flow for rapid growth as the radicle bags, just using a different material and a tighter knit so water doesnt flood out the sides during feeds and when you pick these up when the coco is dry, it wont fly all over the tent like with the radicles. They're the optimal bag for autoflowers especially. I figured out why the one stayed so short compared to the others, the base of the stem did a 360 so it's like a loop then it grew vertical.

Another week and no signs of flower or pre flower, definitely not the quickest one. Plants keep looking really great, the topped one too but it is smaller than the others yet. Two of them have insane leaves, i think that i'm going to defoliate it later if it becomes neccesary i have moved the lamp to mantain it at 35cm, i don't have so many margin to move it upper. according to gb strains the hegight should be between 0,7 and 1.2, let's see

Girls got a little stressed out as you can see in the images, but they will flourish after a defoliation and a good feed...

day 15: flowers start to appear day 16-17: temps go 24 celcius, i throw ice bottles in the res day 25: insane stretch stops flowers fatten up, even crystals around the young budz.

Right so basically, a week ago today marked a month for these ladies and because I had a broken phone it was very hard to keep up to date with the journal but hopefully now I can keep on top of this grow for you guys. It's been 35 days since germination for the Rhino Ryder and Afghan Kush. I'm using soil from the back garden and now that there is a bit of foliage, with the watering etc. The humidity has risen to a level I'm not happy with to which I'm going to invest in a portable dehumidifier to bring down the moisture in the air. I had to defoliate as it was getting really bushy and the fan was struggling to get air through the fan leaves. I cannot believe the RR, started off as the most finicky plant from germination and now it's the tallest f***er of the 4. She has shot up! I looked at the yellow tips on the leaves and apparently it's a lack of Iron. I read that Iron deficiency can be left to work itself out typically if it's not severe. Usually after a few days after the leaves are left to expand the yellow disappears and they turn a nice fresh green colour. The smell in here is fantastic! Es läuft weiterhin gut die hintere Reihe verhält sich aber besser von dicke der Knospen etc. Die vorderen sind etwas kleiner als die anderen aber denke sie ziehen noch nach. Ab Mitte nächster Woche wird nur noch Ph-reguliertes H2O gegeben und auch eventuell einmal geflusht.

Apple fritter and wilson! Zero are 7 weeks from popping the seed's in ro water ph to 6.2 and mystery mix, Geist grow are 4 weeks from popping the seed's same process as above. Blumat watering system 3x3 area for growing 4 plants in 4 10gallon fabric pots in living soil top feed with compost tea and foliage spray (LABS) lactic acid bacteria. 2 x TS1000 and I use pod tech to feed my worms with down to earth amendments.
