Grow Journal Week 9: Harvest Time 🌿 Hello dear growers and growerettes, All the ladies are finally done! Although each plant turned out a bit differently, I’m thrilled that the trichomes are consistent this time. The plants took slightly longer than what the manufacturer suggested, but they’re now ready. I’ve trimmed individual branches, removed large “no sugar leaves,” and hung them upside down in the tent. They’ve been drying for seven days and should be ready for trimming by the end of this week. Equipment and Soil Review Irrigation: I plan to replace the Blumats with autopots for the next grow. While the Blumat drippers work, they did flood my tent once, which wasn’t ideal. Soil: I’ll continue using the living soil from Floranics, but this time I’ll use the ready-made soil and their new product. This run was with the old product and self-activated. I'm very pleased with the time savings and the results, which are more than satisfactory for the effort. ***Note that I started to count the days when I placed the seeds between paper towels. The seeds were planted 3 days later and sprouted from the ground 2 days after being planted. D80 (13/05/2021): I'm looking at the trichomes every other days. Glue Gelato is starting to show amber on top buds. No amber for Banana Kush and Gelato. This time I will chop them all at the same time so the one I will rely on is the Glue Gelato. As soon as she is ready, I will harvest them all. Banana Kush and Gelato would probably need more, but in term of logistic, I need to harvest all my plants at the same time. D83 (16/05/2021): Not ready yet. I'm checking trichomes closely! 😬 - Light: the lights are at 100% and at 12 inch form the plants. - Temperature: during the day: 24-25C ; during the night: 20C. - Humidity: the humidity is maintain around 46-48% all the time. - Air circulation: There is an oscillating fan on the ground, one fixed fan pointing on top of the canopy and one fixed fan to help cool the lights. - Water: I gave water every other day or when the ground feel dry or the pots feels light. - ***IPM: I never mention it but I'm using nematodes pouch as an integrated pest management. I had trouble with pest in my first grow and I learned from it. That's the only thing I do for pest and of course watching closely and regularly at my plants 😊

The Pure Ice Cream clone is growing well. Nothing special has been happening. She is waiting on another plant to finish so she can go to flowering. It will be about 3 or 4 weeks from now. Everything is going smooth. Day 36: Girls looking pretty happy. Still some discoloration going on. Doesn't look to be spreading though. Day 37: Ok, the girls obviously were not happy this morning. I watered with quite a good amount of runoff and measure the PPM at 3200!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm surprised they are still alive! Had to make a quick run to get some water for a flush as I only have 5 gallons worth. Ran 2 gallons through each of them at a ph of 6.4 around 9:30 this morning. It's now 5pm and they have pulled through great. These OG Kush are extremely resilient. Day 38: The girls look way better today after flushing yesterday. Two of the pots were almost completely dry already. Went ahead and fed at 500ppm with runoff. Day 39: I think it's dialed in now. They are looking amazing and still stretching pretty good. Went ahead and pulled off a handful of leaves between the 5 of em. Day 40: Did a little more defoliation and opened them up a bit. I am super worried about getting any type of mold or any issues in particular for this first round. One of the girls needs a touch more but ran out of time. Girls are looking super healthy! 💪 Day 41: They are looking super awesome. Got the runoff dialed in. 750 going in and roughly 800 coming out. May up it in a week or so. Day 42: Nothing new to update. Girls still looking amazing. I think the stretch may be slowing just a tad.

Day 12 of organic grow and all is well. Seemed to have dialed in the conditions and able to keep good air movement, CO2 levels, and consistent temperatures/humidity with the ThruWall Closet Fan (Model TW108 ), and the Holmes Twin Exhaust/Intake Fan (Model HAWF-2041). Humidity is maintained with a Lovoit 6L Ultrasonic Programmable Cool Mist Humidifier (Model# LV600HH). Added a SCROG screen (just a cargo net) and bought the Sample Pack of organic nutrients from Nectar for the Gods (just pay shipping and they will send you the sample nutrients - check out the website). People say their line of nutrients make the buds smell and taste like no other! I have always been an organic Earth Juice nutrient guy, so I am going to experiment with combining the two. Lights are on 24/0 and she has tight internodal spacing with good vertical growth. Room that closet is in is beginning to smell skunky at times, and like diesel at other times. Kann es schaden? - ich denke nicht.

shortest plant is 50cm tallest being 95cm. They are all doing wonderfully, most of autos are budding nicely and all of the photoperiods are ready to flower. looking very promising. i am changing my light schedule to 14-10 to kick these girls into flower.. this will give the plants an extra 17% (or so) a day under the lights.rather than 12-12. i cant be fussy as i only have one grow space but if my research is correct these should grow beautifully! the autos are well ahead so shouldnt affect my harvest weight too much. like i say i cant be fussy! thanks for looking

Not much has changed other than size. I have her locked down in a ring to direct even growth. She will stay in the pattern for another week or so before I'll release the branches and move her to the 4x4 flowering tent. I'd like to note that I have also removed the first 2 nodes on every branch on the entire plant. And cleaned up all growth for the first 5 nodes from the main stalk. As well as any branch that is facing down.

she grows healthy ... and her flowering begins ... she is small because I change her very late to a bigger pot ... I hope she delivers something

Uneventful week, hot, dry, defoliating a little inside, drip every 3 days, still doing foliar spray for pests. Flower sites are slowly developing, really just beginning. Should easily be finished be end of Sept.
