Since this diary started in the middle of Week 4 of flower, many of the details about how we got to that point have remained a mystery. In previous updates I mentioned how my last attempt at growing this cut resulted in a plant that outgrew my space. I had a long veg time and used a 5 gallon pot. That information allowed me to exercise caution on this grow because I knew how big this plant can get when given an opportunity. With that in mind, I only gave her 9 days after transplant from the aerocloner before moving her to the flower tent. My pervious experience dictated that this plant exhibits significant lateral branching. I top most of my plants to encourage this kind of growth, but due to the short veg time and for the sake of experimentation, I decided to not top her this time. You can see that this has resulted in a large main stem cola, but also (thanks to knowing her growth pattern) several rather large secondary colas as well. As an aside, some may look at this and wonder "yeah, but what about the yield?" I have never weighed a harvest. I grow for myself only, therefore yield is not something I concern myself with. I just don't care. I fill one quart mason jar and the rest is given away or turned into hash. My scheduling is such that I harvest approximately one plant a month; therefore I have enough smoke to last a VERY long time. While this plant will probably go 12+ weeks, with only 9 days of veg, it’s still comparable to a 10 week variety that would require a longer veg time to produce a similar yield. And, frankly, I have close to a dozen cultivars in my ‘consumable’ collection and this is the only one I reach for prior to 9 pm. She has a very clear and motivational high. Not overpowering, but I never test her ceiling, so she could get one blasted if necessary. This would also be a great plant for someone having trouble eating, because my appetite is essentially limitless when I’m smoking this. Perhaps it’s no coincidence that I have put on a few lbs since I’ve had her in my collection?

Wo die Nährlösung länger einwirken konnte oder teilweise eingetrocknet ist, ist alles rostbraun vom chelatierten Eisen. Aus dem Abfluss mussten Wurzeln entfernt werden, damit er nicht zuwächst 🔧 Der VPD ist mir eigentlich zu niedrig, aber gegen das kalt-feuchte Regenwetter ist kein Kraut gewachsen. 🌧️ Ein geschlossener Raum samt Luftentfeuchter kommt nicht in Frage.

Hi Potheads, During the course of the week there was a small addition of 3 More CFL LIGHTS through the use of Splitters and sockets thus freeing more outlets, the remaining were programmed to have different schedule that had increasing / peak /decreasing intensities of light sources according time before total blackout, harshly emulating outdoors but with the benefit of keeping thermals , consumption and electronics lifespam at range. VEGGING WEEK TWO: 10 days of 21 vegging remaining if everything goes according to the plan but there is an impending menace that has to go out before putting plants to flower . Plants had a good growth response to the budget light, used soil and non-canon nutrient combos , but in the aspect plague control has been a bit more tedious, and even through im using an agressive product (Aceite de Springhill - Anasac) it does keep them at bay but it doesn't totally eradicate them, seeing a few small flying white dots and some moths when plants are shaken in search of bugs , having really low stretch horizontal plants does make harder to inspect the reverse of the leafs, some of them with clear signs of being chewed , and the bit size is like a hole made with a mechanical pencil and that can react to pesticide toxicity if overdose. This is totally my fault because the reused soil with a lot of organic content is a perfect host for plagues and doing aggresive LST is easing the way to climb or jump towards the plants for any bug. For plant placement inside the tent , u can use week 1, pic 1 for reference. G13 Hashplant : The four specimens are the most affected by plagues persistence, because they have the most vegetal mass and trained branches that vermin can hide. In consequence, it also has received more spray doses of Aceite de Springhill (paraffin oil) and this losing battle contrasts absolutely with their spectacular growth , ramification and thick stems. Santa Bilbo: The four specimens received topping with lst through last week, if there is a net above their cup, its because i already know that when it's stretches, it shows ALL her sativa ascendancy, don't believe in her morphology, preflowering is very messy indeed!. Also, The nutrient deficency didn't had heavy impact on the plants after they were transplanted and received both nutrient & plague control formulas. Eleven Roses: All the plants were healthy but with different vigor, making the desition of the ones that will stay inside according to their reaction to topping. Eleven roses, althrough is declared 100% indica by her crushing effect, it can present phenos with longer internodal distance and flowering stretch , so i reccomend a bit of height control in it's grow stage as well.

Bud wet weight : 168,1g of trimmed medium to big sized buds 25,4g of tiny tiny buds/larfs = 193.5 grams of trimmed wet buds. Details on genetics and smoke report above. This, as my first grow, is way more than I ever expected it to be. I haven´t had that much fun and enthusiasm in a very very long time. I can´t even explain the feeling it is to harvest your own cannabis, but I know most of you know what I´m talking about haha. It was really nice to practice LST, even tho it was SO HARD, ´cause I didn´t had barely any space to work since I used a hard pot and did not fill nearly half the size of it and the walls of the pot were really high. It was even difficult to water without dropping water on the lower buds. I haven´t learnt much about defoliation tho, I feel I need to study a little more about the phases you should or should not do it. Also, I discovered thrips are a pain in the ass. I had 2 tough weeks dealing with thrips, but in the end it was alright. I don´t have any humidity control device, which I intend to buy for the next grows. Growdiaries was really helpful for me, it kept me motivated everyday (not that I wouldn´t have had it anyways), the Grow Questions are REALLY useful and all the community is awesome. Thanks to all people that helped me here on GD during this first grow! To conclude it: I am really happy and satisfied with how the grow turned out. They look incredible, it almost feels like I can´t believe it still. Peace. UPDATES: 07/10 : The buds are now dry and already in curing jars, one of them with a Boveda 58% humidity pack. The total grams of the dry buds are: 41.4g (medium to big sized buds) 4.1g (tiny buds) = 45.5 grams! I´m really happy with the results, I thought it would be around 30g so yeah, that´s a really good surprise! In 2 weeks I´ll be back to update the smoke report. Thanks so much for reading! Peace. 09/10 : I managed to fit everything in the same container with some space between them, so now every bud is with the Boveda pack. 14/10: It´s been a week and the smell improved, it still smells a little like hay/plant ( even tho it´s not too dry neither too wet ). 21/10: Now it´s been two weeks and even tho the smell isn´t anymore hay, it´s a lot herbal. I really think the aroma can get better, but the taste is already good enough for me. The smoke report has been done and in case I have something to add, I´ll report here. I had my photos stored on my cell phone because I had a lot of work. Here where I live is winter. therefore the growth has been very slow in flowering. and almost every day they are cloudy. but we will see her results.

Week 10...The plants are looking good! Took out the microscope to look at the trichomes...Starting to get milky but still another week or two before the harvest! Started flushing the plant this week!
