What is good fellow gardeners, So our jungle tour has come to an end and what can I say, it was a joyful ride in all ways. It had it’s ups and downs like many of my other grows but I still think growing is the best hobby. This last week we let the last two girls ripen completely and at the end of the week we harvested them. This time the drying took place in several stages, which turned out to be a good idea. First we hung them up for 3 days with leaves then trimmed and let them dry again for another 8 days. The scents and aromas were preserved in their perfect state which was the basis for the later smooth smoke experience. After an overall problem-free vegetative stage, there were some minor hiccups during the flowering period. We lost quite a few large flowers due to bud rot. The oscillation function of the fan broke precisely during the last critical period of flowering, which could obviously have contributed to this. There was a slight light leak at the zipper which may have caused stress to the first two plants. That’s why they had to be taken down 2 weeks earlier than the other two. Trichomes were fully milky with a few clear so wasn’t a big issue tho. This two showed similar characteristics in terms of taste and bud structure. A sweet and spicy taste with a hint of chocolate. Buds are dense and rock hard. One pheno turned out deep purple and had a bit slightly burnt sweet fruit cake taste. Buds are solid and rock hard. The last pheno is more spongy yet hard but not really compact. This one has the most sweet and fruity taste with a well balanced high. I would recommend this strain for those who loves fruity varieties. However sometimes can be hard to manage during flowering. Thanks to everyone who joined us for this jungle trip. 02/15 (M) - Prepping her to flip into flower within the next week or two - Weaved her under net for better light coverage - Running 8 drip emitters with a 5 gallon res - 45 sec feed every 8hrs. 02/15 (C) - Thus far all 15 are still kicking but they did take a hit - starter roots for all 15 have begun - I will update with pics within the next 2 weeks - Running high temps and high humidity during lights on. 02/18 (M) - Mom is doing great - No deficiencies - Flipped her into flower today - running 8 line feed with 5 gallon res - clean water feeds for the first 2 weeks. 02/18 (C) - The babies to a bit of a hit they are looking a bit funky but they are rooting - some of the clones are growing their own babies - I will let them rock as to seeing they are rooting and showing new growth. 02/19 (C) - 4 out of the 15 have developed very strong roots - the rest have smaller roots coming in - will continue to run high humidity and monitor accordingly.

Making a nice few tops. Been such a heavy sativa im not use to growing one. Kinda in new Territory. So many Shoots so close together. I'm gonna have to top them again at some stage. There's just too many and they're too short. They're the tops of what would of been great colas. But, I've a different agenda here. And I need more colas to fill my net. 6 sets from each plant won't cut it. Growth is good and steady this week. (Sadly, same can't be said for her in RT, they're pushing through) updates will come soon. Strong like Sativa Structure. Missing a bit of a stretch at the moment. Think I might throw her into a few days of 12-12 and then flip her back into veg to stretch her nodes to 50cm2 net. The legs of the frame go into the pot. So its moveable. Let's hope I do a decent job. The one that was started in the root riot cube, with the Broken stem. She is the biggest, by a ways I wonder if that's from an early break (HST) in her stem. Will for sure be testing this with clones. Happy with how these past weeks went. This is where the good times end. (For now) mag issues are looming. Week 3 males developing right on time! Pollen will be dispersing soon. So now trying to nail down who daddy was? Week 3 day 1 males looking very nice, no sign of either one showing female flowers( no hermaphrodite/ true male) but I will stress them more after reveg for severe stress test. For final results. Looks like I forgot to feed mom! Shit! But I did not.I used bio tone starter 5-1-1 by Espoma gonna feed in am. With tomato tone with myco 3-4-6 it's all I got and organic to boot 👍 Last grow with Captains cake went to 11 weeks 2 - 3 applications should get me to finish line. No flush should be needed, it's feeding the seeds growth. Looking at 07/01/2018 harvest. Fingers crossed! 05/05/2018 First burst of male pollen is flying in the air, gonna try to get video of it as I shake the males. I am brewing tea with worm castings unsulphured molasses,topped off with protilizer immediately after brewing it. Give them a little love (Tea) while they are making seeds👊

Easy grow cycle, 5 weeks of vegetation and 7 to 8 weeks of flowering and they are good to harvest. For drying I only removed the bigger fan leaves. Now they are hanging upside down in the tent to dry for about 8 to 10 days before trimming and getting a proper dry weight.

Looks great and tastes great, poor yield due to the algae issue I had which stunted their growth. All my fault, you live and you learn

First week I’ve added any nutrients. I was shooting for adding in some locally sourced bat guano and bone meal in mid way in flower so that my soil wouldn’t run out on me. I noticed a spotted leaf so I added everything earlier than expected lol. Oh well!!! Lol 😂 I’m hoping this local fertilizer works well. We’ll see Lords willing 💯👊🏻

Week 19 of veg!😂😂 would never of thought I’d of took it this long. The big switch to flower starts Monday! The plants been topped around 40 times over the 18 weeks, 18 cuttings that were taken 3 weeks ago. My first attempt at the lollipop technique , nice little defoliation and a good top dress of Dr organics living soil amendments. I have absolutely no idea what’s around the corner when this is flipped😅 but the scrog nets deffo making an appearance😂 keep an eye out for the diary of her little sisters, there already looking 💥… untill next time 👊🏻
