Well, today was the last day veging. I defoliated the lower 20%, switched on the red LEDs and set the timer to 12h. I activated the 2nd fan inside the box and also switched on the mini fan connected to the cooled hood. I'll leave it open until the stretch or the smell begins. As soon as there's any smell, I'll close the system by adding the glass shield. Also, I'll save the resulting temperature drop for the later weeks so... let's see... Nutrients added: about nothing. I read somewhere you should flush the plants before the switch so I just feed a normal quantity of water with only a bit of nutrients. It's around a 1/20th of the recommended dose maybe. Let the adventure begin!

A couple of weeks to finish line. Lovely trichomes all around the buds. The smell reminds me this strain's parent, Super Lemon Haze. It's awesome! Really happy with this grow 😊

Day 126. Girls are thursty !!!! But it's a trend of all of all summer, I don't want to invest any time except documentation of process. They miss feed a bit too, but soil is dry and I will postpone last feed till I am back from holidays.... No updates next week, let's see colas then !!!! Happy Growing !!!

Moved these 2 girls into flowering tent, on 11/1/24. Changed them from 15ltr pots to 20ltr insulated buckets. Gave them a defoliation & lollipoping today .

Partly cloudy with temps in the low to mid 80s just like in their tent. So that’s good. Night temperatures were in the 50-60s. This is much cooler than what they are used to as our house is at 73. They need to get used to what mother nature will provide. Our summers are hot and humid. I had planned to bring the plants back in the sunroom but since conditions were similar, I let them stay outside every night. And every night but 2 it rained. I did not water or feed nutrients this week. I am attempting the scrog technique on all plants. I am using a peony cage as the support structure. The cages are about 2 feet high. This may not be enough side or top support as she grows and may have to resort to tomato cages. Took pics May 6, 9, & 11 Fractal is a vigorous gal and gets very bushy after defoliation & training. GLF - 2g - 24” mainline OLP 2 - 2g - 20” topped OLP 3 - 2g - 18” topped (and broke 2 branches!) OLP 4 - 2g - 15” topped, LST & super cropped OLP 1 - 500ml x4 - 10” super cropped Little bit of defoliation on bottom and centre. All doing well. Increased water needs. Flowers starting to develop. The OLPs are a week behind because the timer in their tent was flipping back and forth between 12-12 and 18-6 for about 10 days.. ooosie! Moms are being maintained as little bonsai plants in solo cups in my back bedroom near the window with a single 100w panel set to 18-6. Being mostly neglected, infrequent watering, lean fertilizer, heavy defoliation.

The end of week 8 is here! Harvest just around the corner! Sad to say I found sign of hermy on one of London mint cake #1 on day 54 due to heat stress again. Had another very warm 93⁰f day. (my fault). Should be fine. I hoped to have chopped both London Mint Cakes on day 56, but due to not flushing enough water through first time at flushing its about a week behind. When I do it again I'll remember to flush at the end of week 5 and do it properly. Hopefully will have RO water set up for then. I'm going to have some very nice smoked on hand can't wait!

One girl has stretched, the other very much a squatting bush. Both appear healthy, with good stems and leaf growth. Just going to let them do their thing and admire them on occasion!

Last days for most of them - only Strawberry Cough will stay longer - she is super hungry and I can not keep up with feeding her - most of leaves are yellow now. 😱 The rest - four plants will be harvested on the weekend - 2-3 days from now and frozen - I'll be making bubble hash and fresh frozen live resin from them in the following weeks 😈 Trichomes are mostly milky with some amber starting - ideal ripeness and time to freeze those glands

Gave these ladies a feed at 2.4 ec 400 ppm of Massive Bloom Formulation, 600 ppm of Floranova Bloom, and 200 ppm of Floranova Grow. Girls have all begun flowering now. Gelato is finally strated, Silver Widow is full on flower and the Breakup Cake is rockin. Weather has been a little better this last week. Were hoping for a good dry fall. Thnx growmies. Started low stress training on June 29th in the first video. Second video is July 1st she grew quite a bit since adjusting the stakes. Really looking forward to her training seeing how big she can get.
