26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. We are talking about and showing the second Northern Lights on harvest day, DAY 63, Week 09. Remember we have another plant that is going and we divide them by the other two weeks to distinguish them. This is a beautiful plant, it has resined in an excellent way, it did not seem super productive to me and it has typical Northern Lights leaves. The central flower is nice and plump and really full of resin. The lateral and secondary ones have a slightly airy consistency but that can happen, the other plant has bricks instead of flowers. I arrived a little late with the fertilizers and perhaps I can not make the plant discolor completely but the maturity is there. Week 5! End of Veg? Preflower? Flower? Very eventful week.

The girls survived. Always the biggest stress in the beginning. Getting sprayed with water twice a day. Gonna do the first watering soon. Hoping for growth!

So where I live we had a really bad storm it had knocked out my power for a full 24 hrs so I had to give them some extra attention to insure there was no mold or any pest with no fan rotation. Then I also had to put them back on there proper timer to get things back on a roll so far so good they still look and smell amazing wish me luck

Absolutely love the CMH light. :) I can recommend it to everyone. Flowering with 13/11 on/off The scrog was a bit late. Next grow I can use it better. Plants are getting their hairs. No spider mites so far. Haha. I've added 50 watts of DIY led (see previous week). I think I'll add 50w more. My next step for this coming week will be to get some better air movement because my tent is more crowded now. I've sacrificed a plant spot for my good fan in this grow. The scrog net was installed to widen the canopy as much as possible Critical XXL is just a day or 2 ahead of Pineapple chunk in terms of hair development. Size-wise Pineapple chunk started huge but the Critical XXL plants caught up and grew larger. Now, PC is making a comeback racing through the scrog net. The Pineapple Chunk makes really large leaves that cover the canopy. Needless to say I am excited to see these strong stems develop their buds.

So the grow cycle was pretty easy. I work away from home and I sometimes have to leave for 4 days in a row. Before I'd leave for the four days I'd just add 4-6 cups of RO water with some Cal-Mag. When I can back she was always bigger and didn't have any problems. I was lazy this time and never checked the PH of the water. This strain is pretty resilient so props to sweet seeds. I decided not to LST this plant, it was a little taller than I wanted but grew in a nice shape. I still cant believe how purple this strain is. I started to get foxtailing on the top bud not sure what would cause that. Once again sorry for the lack of pictures. I'll let you know the smoke report later.

I have cut down in jar everything the wait was 91 grams please consider that when they comes to my scale weight i wait until the main stem breaks with a loud crunch and the buds are really dry to the touch reason for it I have a very busy life and at the end of the day this is just a hobby so I cannot be opening those jars many times a day at most one in the morning and one in night so I want to avoid mold on them.so I push in a Boveda pack to keep them nice. After three weeks in jar that smell has incremented a lot be aware if where you are it's not allowed to smoke because once you open that bag or container everybody knows you open one of those buds it is incredibly powerful smoke and it is very very smooth great strain to have. Smoke is still present here in colorado! Blocking some sun later in the day definitely in the atmosphere you can smell it. Not sure how bad its affevting the babies! They look and smell great really starting to get a candied chem smell 🙏 going to pluck next week for light penetration Also biogrow was expired swapped for fishmix! Seemed to handle okay so far

Day 55 of flower. I think she will need another 2 weeks.. dont know if I should harvest already...I´m scared ... 😱😬 I removed all the leaves with crispy ends the smell is still amazingly sweet and there willl be a little bit of a yield I just hope she will survive. see ya next week my friends 👌

This week was a lot of fun, I never had a plant fade black on me, I knew lemon pie could have purple traits, but this plant is stunning now that it’s finishing. Far from what I expected in a really good way. Going to give her a few more days, because each day the fade just gets better and better. I can’t wait to try this out, should be ready to share harvest with you soon. One of those plants that’s hard to chop down in the end.

Updated the official lab result for this specific plant... thank you spliffseeds, its great to know what youre smoking... Its amazing how a 55 cm plant can yield 120+ grams of dank dry buds, important here was the training and filling the cannopy, scrog net would help me in terms of supporting her coz as you see on pics i harvested her after 3 days of no liquid and she just fell down coz buds were to heavy... and throughout the process i had problems with holding branches in one piece lol so i had to do all the funny bondages with green wire, sadly i dont have pics coz i couldn make a clear photo of how and what did i connect together.
