~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2204 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/1- I soaked both seeds for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged roughly 24 hours later. 12/3- Today their tap roots were about 1/2 to 3/4" so at 11 am I transferred them into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph using a tine off of a plastic fork as a 'mini trowel' to make a hole in the pellet and to gently cover the tap root, leaving only the seed head slightly exposed. This method accomplishes most of the initial work the seed has to do by eliminating having to orientate itself, push it's root down and head up. By 10pm the #1 seed had her cotyledon leaves opened and the #2 isn't far behind! 12/5- Well this is the full Day One for the #2 FBT #2204 and the second day for her sister! I'll keep them in the covered/heated Jiffy tray until I see their roots beginning to emerge from the peat pellet, then I'll transfer them gently into their respective fabric pots. The #1 will be going into the 4g Gronest pot from FastBuds and the #2 will reside in a 3g pot by Wraxly, which I'm trying out for the first time. 12/7- Yesterday I checked the #1 tester and she had roots starting to emerge from her pellet so I transferred her into her 4g Gronest pot. After making a hole in the medium for the peat pellet, I coated the entire surface with Xtreme Gardening Mycos then placed the pellet in the hole and planted her in. Lastly, I watered her in with about 4oz of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of FishShit added which was then ph'd to 6.4 @ 75℉ after which I placed a humidome over her for 24hrs to ensure that the humidity stays constant. The #2 tester is doing great and I'm confident that she should be ready to transfer into her fabric pot in the next couple of days! 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Bud production has been great! Amazing orange candy aroma bellowing off her flowers. Shes starting to rev up the trichome production. Everything is moving steady. Apologize for poor media this week. Shes tucked in the back and is harder to access for pics. I will try n get her out next week. I reduced the nitrogen dose again. I also stopped giving her vigorous. Its a pure bloom mix now as this lady is booming with flowers. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

I was afraid of finding a lot of budrot, luckily it was only the one cola. The buds are very frosty, the bottom at the base of the branch looks a bit brownish on some buds, i inspected it with a microscope and didnt find any mold or weird things. There are a lot of amber trichomes tho. I think that's why it looks brown like that. It smells and smokes good, so i think its fine. If someone thinks otherwise, let me know! End results: Buds: 92 Grams Small Buds: 18 Grams Trim: 16.7 Grams Total weight of the buds: 110 Grams. I calculated that i used a total of 72.3 watts this grow, that makes it 1.52 grams per watt! Very happy with the end results, and its by far my personal record hahaha.

Had major struggles with humidity due to cold front, but got it in somewhat better ranges. My planet of the grapes started wilted/ drooping mid week [other strains were fine]. Did some research and it turned out they needed more water.[ I normally water every other day, feed every second feed and I top dressed before flipping].I fed them, got the humidity back in acceptable ranges. I also gave them some tea [molasses, banana peels, Gaia green bloom,all purpose and worm castings] They seem to be happier. Very eager to defoliate at end of this week been taking few leaves here and there but nothing crazy. Decided to build a suspended 2ply scrog net seems to be working great. Defoliated heavily, and I'm giving only water for the last weeks

11/24/2020 Seeing pre-flowers nice healthy new growth maybe add some h2o2 to clean up roots some, some brown algae? Maybe. Going to lower water level to 8 liters let roots stretch more an fill out bottom of bucket, also a serious defoliating is needed, But it can wait till next week. Her clone mom was harvested at day #50 in flower, not fully ripe and it's still pretty potent stuff, I think I can go to 63 days and still get an energetic high, mom still had, 30% clear trichomes with no amber at 50 days. So I will harvest 1-2 cuttings to keep them going as everyone that tried it liked the results, but this one should finish faster with Hydro, so we will see how it goes.

Super skunk clone taken 3/11 added to my last soil mix was to hot had to flush a few time after transplant

Hello potheads, the reason to do this Journal is to register the grow results using a dirty cheap assembly, with low investment on equipment and hopefully without compromising results (LOL). The main reason to do this is bc I have tested previously the Bulbs when my last COB Panel failed right after two years and became void of guarantee, also, pandemics in my country made every attempts to delivery it to a technician almost impossible, so we had to improvise . Most of the used materials are accesible by home & groceries store (also online), the nutrients and seeds that are legacy from the previous project. The substrate is recycled and applied on 11 & 15lt Textpots. This is the reason also why there is a lite of lice or white fly plague on some plants that im trying to control with Aceite de Springhill by Anasac (locally branded paraffin oil). About nutrients: The reason to add Carbo & Sugar Is to stimulate beneficial bacterial life on the used soil.This also helps photosynthesis and root development in earlier stages. (ref: https://bigbudsmag.com/marijuana-carbohydrates-boost-roots-buds-thc ) Related to the strains: The G13 by GrowBarato Seeds: 2 Month Old AVG but they were germinated on 12/12 photoperiod (while waiting to cut other plants) , so they acted like revegged with the increase of hours. They're being trained with paper clips to become bushy & chonky units. (4/6 survived) Santa Bilbo by Genethik: 1 Month Old AVG , but they were germinated on 12/12 photoperiod, the nutrient deficiencies that show are bc they stayed on a 500cc cup for too much time and required transplant urgently, and now are recovering and generating vegetal mass AGAIN . The Reason that there are 2 plants in one pot its bc one was less vigorous, cursed, and against all odds, are recovering from stress shock & different carencies . ( 4/5 survived) Eleven Roses by Delicious Seeeds: 10 days Old (Germinated on 4/20/21 on 20/4 photoperiod). They r' fine, healthy Babies and growing on a steady rhytm . There are 8 because there are 2 spaces to fill , but also, they were backup in case all Santa Bilbo transplants failed miserably. For the last ones i need to select whose be transplanted to soil but that's a problem for future me, not me rn. I will VEG for the entire month of MAY in order to fill the spaces of the grow tent and try to update this diary at least once a week. Probably weekends. Alrighty, guys and gals it's another res change and another opportunity to make mistakes haha. All in all, I actually got a lot of helpful advice through the questions forum so a big shout out to anyone that helped with those issues. Unfortunately with the rest of the canopy being somewhat the same height, I decided to leave the lights on 100%. I can't raise them any higher and I just have to better in veg when it comes to keeping the canopy even and encouraging bud sites. I'm super tempted to trim up the top big fan leaves but I honestly am not sure if it would help any at this point in time. I'm looking forward to giving the buds more time to grow though and I'm hoping a surprise myself with a great turnout. I'm still at a loss for when to harvest as far as what to look for with the buds aesthetically. I've heard the trichomes cloudy bit so many times but I guess I just cant tell if I should harvest what's larger done and cloudy then harvest the rest later etc.

These girls got lollipopped and a defoliation this week. I think having some more air flow at the pots level they'll get the dryback I'm shooting for. Now they'll also be able to focus all there energy on the top colas. All in all Happy Growing.

Chopped them down for a 24 hour hang dry before storing them in a temperature and humidity controlled environment. So freaking glad it's over! Time to chill out and enjoy the crop.

Here we are in what it will be the final week... I am now at day 61 and I'm considering to cut at the end of this current week... in 2 days basically... I recently bought a scope that allows me to check the trichomes and I can see all milky ones, I also posted some videos of it, please guys let me know your thoughts... Beside this buds are hard like rocks and smell still pretty intense and I cannot wait to taste this short but bulky phenotype.
