Greetings my dear Jungletamers, So a major surprise came when @MarsHydroLED contacted us and asked if would like to try out their new SP 3000 light. Being a fan of Mars Hydro for years, we of course accepted their offer. We are totally in love with this light. I was when I saw it in another grower's setup and was in awe of its output and results. So with much pride and thankfulness for the presents the Universe bestowed on us, in the form of MarsHydroLEDS offer and the bountiful harvest of the last grow, (which I am thoroughly enjoying btw, such a great weed to have grown ourselves) we start out on a new adventure that we can't wait to share with you. With many lessons learned from the previous grow, a mighty producing strain in the form of Expert Seeds Gorilla Glue #4, a.k.a Expert Gorilla's and a tweaked super soil mixture, we are setting out to hopefully get over a gram per watt, preferably 1.5. The Setup A 4.5 (140 cm) x 2(70) x 6.2 (200) grow tent, giving me a .98 m2 workspace. This space is customized to my needs. A standing fan will provide airflow through the whole grow, a top fan will help guide cooler air past my lights onto the grow. 3 56 ltr pots will be the home for the plants when they are 2 weeks old, up to then in smaller jars. The Light The leading role and star of the show will be played by the Mars Hydro SP-3000, so kindly provided by MarsHydroLED, which we will test and review here and I might say, endorse. I'm very careful with who I endorse and support these days, but a company with that many wins in design, I'm talking ever since their first range came out in 2009 these guys have been raising the bar for the whole industry, I did not hesitate to support this leading brand. If you want to compete with these guys, you better bring some quality AND affordable pricing. Why do I endorse the SP-3000 without ANY hesitation? It is seriously THE BEST light on the market in this price range and size group. It has an enormously effective output in U/Mol and with 30% less energy waste comparing to older LED lights. Prove me wrong! And with a company holding a considerable market share selling thousands of units every month, competing on price and quality, one would think that customer service would suffer. Of course, also Mars Hydro is not perfect, but check the sheer amount of people that not only praise the light but also the service received, should the light somehow not perform up to par. It is this dedication to their customer base that made this company have a fanbase... Yes, a fanbase with a website and a wiki. Lineage: Chem Sis x Chocolate Diesel x Sour Dubb Popularity: Extremely Popular Flavor/Aroma Profile: Chocolate, Earthy, Fuel Yield: 400 g/m2 Stress Tolerance: High resistance to disease Potency: 24% THC Flowering time: 58 - 63 days The Soil: Those who saw my Monstercropped Gelato #33 grow (you should see it if you didn't, I'm so proud of that grow), know about my super soil and organic nutrients/ permaculture tea combo that starred in my previous diary. Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. On this I started layering the coco coir, Bi-grow, peat, castings, and amendments in a way that the more mature the plants get, the more phosphorous and less nitrogen they will find. Every time I made three layers, I would mix them by hand. This way we simulate natural soil, which consists of humic layers, composting plant waste, fungal and microbial life, and nutrients from fossilized sources. The Nutrients I will start with just adding 6.4 PH water, although this soil should buffer ph itself and regulate, after 4 weeks, I'll slowly be adding: - Biobizz Grow - Plagron Alga Grow - Biobizz CalMag - Biobizz Flower - Plagron Alga Flower - Biobizz Topmax - Melasses The Tea Some of you might remember the permaculture tea from my previous grow, I have a short video in my harvest page showing how we make it), it will star again in this grow. - (Rain)water - Comfrey (whole plants) - Dandelion leaves - Roots and leaves from the earlier grow - Minor periwinkle (Finca minor) is a plant we have in our garden, it contains an alkaloid that is associated with increased brain function but also is a light toxin for wee beasties and other unwanted guests like gnats (who hate it). - When flowering I add some wood ash to this mix Thank you for checking in on one of my grows again! picked homegrown nice red buds c-banana stretched to the lights had to take action several times. future #1 and one of its clones, fat bastard and gelato all doing good. seeding clones of all with homegrown for some outdoor fun this year. i am going to skip a few weeks posting over the holidays.

fifth week flower, the ladies are getting really tasty and developing well!!

So I have decided too pot up the 3 toronjaz girls into bigger pots, 1 because the older girl needed it but 2 also because I feel they needed space and a new home too stretch their roots out 🌱 The above blend will hopefully help these girls soldier through these first crucial weeks, let's keep our fingers crossed 🤞 I'll be doing light lst over the next week for the older girl, maybe top her end of week 3 maybe 4 depending on how she grows 🌱 Light feeds slow and steady will do as new too aptus buy I hope I can do well with them as they seem really simple too use and also their website has lots of usefull info incase I'm in need 🙏👏👊 These will be tidied up and given this space too their selves once my fastbuds testers in the back there are ready for new pots and their new space I have waiting 🌱

The stretch is real, they are being fed every other day, 1gal/plant basically. Nice uniform stretch along both rows.

Well this week was plain Jane. A little nute burn started, you can see it on the tips, but I was purposely giving them high nutrients in order to see what they could handle. The sativa in the middle is stretching hardcore. I'm currently having issues trying to keep my humidity below 55. I can't seem to get it lower than 58. Hey! Welcome to week 9 for Karen! Week 8 is now complete so please go and check it out 🙏. Big week last week... massive. Day 57: Fertigated 6l. Height 40cm. Day 58: Scent has stepped up again and I'm noticing some of bud sites starting to develop frost. Day 58.5 Flushed with 20l of PH & CalMag. Day 59: reorganised tent Day 60: Fertigated 3l. Karen has put on a load of frost in the last 24h. I mean seriously. Smell stepped up again. Height 44cm. Day 60.5: I have had a really good look at other KKA grows. I think Karen is going to need a few extra weeks. I think she will be ready for harvest in about week 14. So I think we have about another 4-5 weeks to go. Day 61: Adjusted the LST a bit. She's frosting rapidly now. 😍😍🤩 Height 45cm. Width: 60cm x 70cm Day 61.5: It is only 8 days since I *heavily* defoliated and I think I probably should do it again already. Things are progressing well at the moment though so I am trying to resist doing it too soon. She is still stretching. Day 61.75: Right, I have done some research and I have made a decision,. I'm going to give Karen 2 full weeks from the last defoliation on day 53, so on day 67 (i.e half way through next week) I will defoliate and perform final LST just to space out the colas a bite more at the "top" of the plant. Incidentally, Nesia is now easily the same spread as Karen.. Nesia is going to be much bigger than Karen. As well as the ongoing stretch she has started to frost over this week and I am hoping this continues because more and more is appearing all over the place.

Day 35: This week I was busy again with work (60hours this week) + Christmass days with family + friends(4days every evening). So you can gues, i asked my friend again to take care of them. Well he did kind off, but he forgot to adjust the lights and dance the plants arround(shuffle them, sorting by height). What happend? They stretched out because of the heat and he gave them to much water everyday, he tried to do his best this time but he did the imposible, he overwaterd cocos soil. As you can see the leafs dropped downward indicating overwatering or pests. In my case, luckly, the first one. Luckly easy to fix. Also spotted some stress in stems due stretching, something i cannot fix. Look at week 4, pictures of day 28, thats my work after I fixed it for days and now look at this week.... For f**k sake lol. Because of this stretching it looks really crowded now instead of a beautifull equal cantopy. if you look at picture one to the plants in the right corner, those are the heights I want them to be. There are still some plants that fell behind and barely recoverd since last time. For the new week I will have to make a choice to eighter keep them and hope they still grow some while flowering or I will need to get rid of them in exchange the others will have more space. I might thoose the last option. Thats it for this week, see y'all in the next.

LST an einer Critical Crush angewendet. Ein paar Blätter Geld/leichte Nekrose zwecks Nährstoffmangel. Zum ersten mal Gedüngt (Hesi) Bloom. Beim nächsten mal eher düngen :D Drähte für LST entfernt da lt. Breeder/Community zu spät. Pflanzen stehen nun auf dem "Balkon"

What can I say....So far she is a beauty. Beautiful indica structure and easy to please. I gave her a 10 gallon flush and fresh nutrients. Started them on some liquid Koolbloom. I feel like I need to cut a clone off her and cross breed it with something but not sure what. Maybe the bubble bomb.... Nutrients per gallon .75 tsp maxibloom .2 tsp liquid koolbloom .5 tsp calimagic .25 tsp armor si .1 tsp 90/10 humic/fulvic acid

Última semana y los cogollos siguen creciendo y pasaron a tener unos tonos morados que es muestra su maduración, el olor también se puso mucho más intenso. Al parece le queda 1 semana y cumplen sus 10 semanas, son rapidísimas, la gorila x cokes fue la que más me gustó. Últimos días, solamente con agüita.
