Can't Lst this thing enough. Seems like every other day it needs readjusting. Autos are crazy when they start going.

Had to take a hiatus for about a week or two. But now I'm back in full swing! The girls are all swimming along great! I believe in my last update I discussed wanting to main line this plant. But instead I'll do some lollipopping and topping. I figure that would be less traumatic than performing a main-line this late in it's growth. The one sweet zombie clone I got to root is coming along awesomely. I've been feeding compost tea to establish benis and now their growth has really picked up. I'm really worried about how crowded it will get in this tent, so I may end up putting my clones outside once we have vegetative conditions outdoors. Either way, I'll just run with it lol. WELL! What an experience. I made some mistakes, learned a lot and still got some excellent weed out of it. Super frosty, LOUD and SO dense it's ridiculous 😂 Sadly i got some (a lot for me) mold, i encountered for the very first time. With it being almost winter in Germany, the temps dropped really hard for some days and then even 60% humidity was too much for the strain. I also would say it isn't that resistant against mold, so just keep that in mind, the buds are so dense, it's really easy for them to trap water. I had to throw away like 1/4 of the yield, mostly the top buds 💀 That kinda sucked, but it could be worse, it's fire weed tho, i'll add pictures of the buds later.

🌱 Animal Mints — Week 6 From Seed (≈ Week 2 Flower / Pre-Flower Phase) Quick Recap for New Readers This run includes multiple Animal Mints plants, all treated similarly, but we’re mainly cataloging two reference plants to clearly show how timing affects structure and development: • Plant A → 12/12 from seed • Plant B → ~15 days under 16/8 veg, then flipped to flower Same genetics, same room, same feeding — different timelines. That’s the whole experiment. ⸻ Plant A vs Plant B — Why Two Plants? • Plant A (12/12 from seed) • More compact • Slower early structure • Responds very well to gentle leaf bending and light training • Still stretching and stacking nicely • Plant B (short veg period) • Bigger frame • More developed branching • Further along in flower at the same “seed age” • Took light cleanup / lollipopping better This small veg window made a huge difference in structure and flower progression, and that’s exactly why we’re documenting both. ⸻ ✂️ Canopy Work (No Heavy Defoliation) This week we did selective leaf removal, not a true defoliation: • Opened airflow and light paths • Removed shaded or blocking leaves • Light lollipopping on Plant B only • Plant A kept mostly intact, just leaf bending and spacing Goal wasn’t stress — it was space, airflow, and efficiency. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment Update • Day Temp: ~28°C (successfully raised) • Humidity: ~65% • PPFD: ~600–850 (depending on height & position) • CO₂: ~900 ppm (now stabilizing around 909 ppm) As outside temps stayed cooler, the room naturally became its own heat source: • Increased plant mass • Higher light intensity • Under-canopy lighting added No forced heaters. No extremes. Just letting the system balance itself. 🌬️ Airflow • Vortex extraction • Multiple cross-flow fans • Constant gentle movement No leaf chaos — just steady motion. ⸻ 💧 Feeding & Nutrition Strategy This week marks a clear transition phase. • EC: ~2.4 • pH: 6.5 (transitioning down — all feeds now 6.0+) Why Higher pH Right Now? As plants move into flower, nutrient demand shifts: • Better Ca / Mg uptake • Stronger phosphorus & potassium availability • Root activity increases Slightly higher pH at this stage supports structural growth and flower formation, especially under higher light and CO₂. Sooooo this has been an amazing and exciting week! Ive been patient with this last plant and really checking the trichomes i inly wanted a few amber caps on the nugs, was looking for milky on this one! Shes smelling amazing and the color change was such a sight to see! She did so well with the nutrients and loved the 2 week flush i did! I cut her down did a wet trim and have em in the drying rack! Im excited to see how she cures and drys ready for the smoke reveal! Woche 6 Tag 36 Die Topffläche ist weitestgehend ausgefüllt. Es wird umgestellt, nicht nur die Zeit sondern auch physisch. Das Blümchen wandert aus dem Keimzelt, was diesmal auch Veggizelt war, in ihr Blütezelt. Da beide Zelte zeitversetzt laufen, wird die erste Nacht auf etwa 21h verlängert indem sie in ein unbeleuchtetes Zelt zwischen geparkt wird. Anschließend wird im üblichen 12h Takt beleuchtet.

Week 4 on the veg and growth has been slower than expected. Still incredibly healthy but I probably topped em all a little too early and it’s taken them some time to come back around in recovery. The strain itself is still a slow mover it seems but the uniformity in all the plants is a really good sign of consistency and stability. Well do some tie backs on em this week to spread out the shoots and see where we’re at for week 6. I’ll flip em as soon as I start to see pronounced vegetative maturity. Alls good here for now.

Welcome to week 6 of flower! Things are starting to shape up quite nicely and some of the plants are starting to get colourful! Its hard to capture on the current camera I'm using but my new one that's on its way should be much much better! Overall really excited to see what this week will bring! I will be checking some of the ladies trichomes to see how far along we are either this week or next week to give me an approximate harvest window! Ladies are starting to fade but they're still putting on mass daily! Day#37F Pictures N/A. The terpenes an nose coming off the plants its INSANE we got lots of nice and unique smells going hard here! Day#38F Removed some of the leaves blocking nodes, cleaned up the bottoms abit more. Day#39F The ladies continue to put on mass and some of the leaves are really starting to turn purple! Day#40F The ladies continue to cruise along. Fuel D.og#2 is starting to come back to a nice green Day#41F Kings Juice#1 is really starting to show her fade now! Ladies continue to put mass on. With some of the plants starting to show signs of an open window for harvest Im going to break out the microscope next week to see exactly how far along we are! Over all really really pump about the plants , looking like its going to be a great harvest!

Well I think I got a little burn don’t know what exactly but I think I had my 1000w light to close I get the heat emitting had something to do with it . I adjusted it 40cm from grow

29.08. Update – Day 31 • The flip is complete: all plants have now officially transitioned into flowering. • Differences in genetics are clearly visible – some plants are taller and more stretched, while others remain more compact. • Despite these variations, all ladies are in excellent health, showing strong growth and vibrant green leaves. ⸻ Pest Situation • The thrips problem continues to improve since the nematodes were applied. • While there are still a few thrips present, the overall pressure is noticeably reduced. • If necessary, a second round of nematodes will be considered to fully bring the situation under control. ⸻ Notes & Outlook • The start of the flowering phase looks very promising, with all plants well-prepared for the next stretch. • Structural differences between the phenotypes may result in an interesting variety in bud formation later on. • Everything is running smoothly overall – healthy growth, steady development, and pests slowly being pushed back. • Once again, a big thank you to Biotabs for keeping this grow simple and effective with their Only-Water nutrient system. ⸻ 🌱 Day 31 – the flowering stage has begun: healthy plants, genetics showing their traits, and thrips slowly but surely coming under control.
