We’re deep in bloom now, and the buds are fattening up nicely on all three ladies! The scent is getting stronger by the day and interestingly, while they all share a base note of red pepper, each plant has developed its own unique aroma twist. Really curious to see how that translates after the cure. Overall, everything’s going smoothly, no issues to report. They’re happy, healthy, and stacking up beautifully. Let’s keep it rolling! 💪🌿

Day 22 and there have been significant changes in the size of the fan leaves. The stems are looking much fatter and more sturdy as well. Cheech has her 5 nodes, perfect and ready for topping. I am going to put off topping her though until Venezia is ready and that should be in the coming couple of days. Other than that, changed water and adjusted the lights about 3cm higher to keep them at 60cm from the plant. Again I left the Milwaukee PH controller to run for about an hour to get the PH down to 6.0 Day 25 and ladies have been topped at node 4, keeping node 3 and cleaning node 1 & 2. Light LST on Cheech’s axillary buds which are already well developed Day 27 - following up with gentle LST twice daily, tightening up the formation of the mainline. I’ve noticed what seems to be a bit of stress on the leaves of Cheech (see photos) which is affecting both plants under the same light. So I’ve moved the light up a few centimetres and rechecked and adjusted the PH which was at around 6.4.

👉The plant really faded fast during this week. I harvested the plant from the top down and staggered the process out over the week, fininshing today, 7 days later. The Queen Cola branch was giant. The calyxes had purple tinge too them. The queen took 7 days to loose 75% of its moisture and is now in its jar and stable at 62%Rh. I pruned and weighed each branch after trimming. I then hung each branch on a rack. After two days I put into a paper bag. The aroma at harvest was diesely. Very strong and you can smell it outside. The buds are dense and frosty. The trim wasn't to punishing because the plant didn't have many sugar leaves and those that were were covered in frost. I hung all the main branches in individually, and the secondary branches i put on a hanging net. There was minimal popcorn or larf and was not included in any of the weight. The plant was well beyond average size. For the pictures I used my cell phone. THe backdrop is a darker green. But like most cell hones the colors can be slightly skewed in the process. I did some adjustments on my computer to adjust for the color drift.

Last phase of flowering now reducing ppms to 1050, RH to 55% and next week will be lowering wattage from 380 to approximately 300 which will help lower day time temps which will bring out any colours if she fades that way. Smells of cheetah piss with a sweet following.

Week 4: We are officially one month into our grow! things have been going pretty smooth so far and that’s exciting!! Yesterday we picked up our Gaia Green 4-4-4. With that and the topping done, we plan to give them the week to recover and then start LST and feeding. You’ll notice a large number of plants were moved outside… those were all auto seeds that we got for free from Seedsman and Perry’s Magic Beans (Northern Lights, Critical + 2.0, M+M, and High C) shout out to them!!

Week 1 of flower for Space panda by Atlasseed, Pheno 1 was fed her 2.7g of BioBloom per L of soil, watered that in and flipped it to flower 24hours ago. As more room opens up in the tent ill spread her out a little more. Also wont be defoliating unless necessary as I'm trying to bring up the humidity a little. While Pheno 2 im going to keep in veg for a week or 2 longer as shes a little behind on size.

Fragrances are really starting to develop this week. Both phenotypes smell differently. Leia has more of an earthy vibe going on so far while Maz smells straight up like candy! 🍬 Leia's yellow pistils are still stretching like crazy and her buds are nice and stacked. The bud structure on the Maz phenotype are very reminiscent of the Skywalker OG that was the mama for this cross. It's really cool to see and appreciate the differences. I changed my watering practices from 1 gallon every 6 days to 1/2 gallon every 3-4 days. The plants have seemed much happier with the change. 😉

Still not flowering but she’s gaining height , by the end of next week if no signs of flowering I will accept that she is a photo plant . I am more confident she is a female 🤞🏽. Finding this seed has got me well into it now. Thanks to all you guys , you have given me plenty of info ,have got another two plants started which I will start a journal for soon . It became clear to me when I opened the tent two days ago. There they were, sticking out one of the main cola’s, it was almost impossible to miss them: 2 bright lime green banana’s. It was like the little dicks were smiling to me. I immediately removed them and search all the plants thoroughly multiple times for more, but didn’t found one. So, I guess I’m now a member of the ‘hermies club’. As for the cause: I suspect light stress. The light was close on the canopy, a little closer than (for example) dr. Cocoforcannabis recommends for this light. I found the two banana’s on Jannine and the bud that had them, is the one that’s almost in the middle of the tent, where the light is the brightest. The plant on the left, Kim, was also showing some foxtailing on her highest buds. Hence, I raised the lights 6-7 centimeters. Hopefully, I took away the cause of the hermies; off course, I’m keeping a sharp eye on the buds, but I haven’t found any more than those two. Also, EC of the drain tends to go up, hence every few days, I now just give them plain pH’ed water, to prevent high EC spikes. The trichomes are developing nicely. I bought a jeweler's loupe to study them, because with my USB microscope it’s almost impossible to get a clear picture (I don’t have a steady hand). The girls are 7 weeks into flower: there are no amber trichomes, but most trichomes are partly cloudy (30~50%) and a minority is still fully clear. I guess two more weeks before harvest, maybe 1,5 week. I switch to GHE Ripen later this week. I didn’t use such a product during my first grow, so I’m curious to see if it does something good. Quest'anno si comincia col botto! Come buon proposito dell'anno nuovo mi sono deciso a metter mano ad un vecchio cassone che c'è in casa mia (prima era una base per un acquario). Ora sarà tut'altro >:D Dopo aver fatto una bella ricerca e raccolta di semi, averli testati e messi alla prova, mi sono finalmente convinto a fare questa benedetta veg box. L'altro box era un 80x80x160, perfetto per la fioritura. Questo invece è un 60x100x80, un box più slim del mio e sdraiato, riesco a dividere lo spazio per tenere madre e cloni contemporaneamente :) Per il momento sto ospitando alcune piante di un amico, piante che dovevano avere dimora in un comodo 120x120 ma che ora sono tutte stipate come sardine a casa mia per le prossime settimane. Mi sto prendendo cura di loro: mi assicuro che germoglino per bene (vedi la girl scout cookies e la runtz in serra), trapianto quando necessario, e mi occupo delle mie bambine personali, la banana sherbet e la critical 707. Piccola curiosità: quando mi ha portato le piantine, stavano tutte a 1 settimana di vita, alcune appena germinate, e ho notato che la bruce banner 3 ha prodotto un gemello! Due germogli da un seme! Sono riuscito a dividerli con successo e mi terrò il gemellino sfortunato per cercare di riportarlo in forze. Al momento ci sono 10 piante in totale: 5 automatiche (tutte del mio amico) e 5(+1) femminizzate (3 mie ,2 del mio amico e 1 in fase di germinazione). Vorrei provare a fare un clone di Monster Skittlez, visto che ha delle foglie particolarmente strane e arricciate (in inglese si dice "webbed" se non sbaglio)... indagherò!
