Well I thought she was close to harvest but she decided to have another growth spurt. I’m glad I didn’t chop her! There was lots more bud growth this week but that’s stopped now and I haven’t seen white pistils for a couple of days so I think she’s close. The pistils are turning amber slowly, there’s still only a few here and there so we’ll wait and see. Happy growing.

Growing some seeds I won from Diary of the Month here on Grow Diaries!!! I'm so grateful and excited for another learning experience doing what I love! Thank you, FastBuds! 🙏 Seed was germinated directly in Rapid Rooter placed in a seedling tray. I put her in darkness for 48 hours and then in a sunny window. Three days later, the seedling's little head poked up and the next day she showed me her first true leaves - calling this day 1. I kept the seedling tray in a sunny window and brought her outside for lunch on my sunny deck with me for the rest of the week. Given the heatwave we were having here, I got her settled into her net basket sooner rather than later so that she could have a more stable environment. This plant will is being grown indoors in an 2x4x8 Gorilla Grow Tent using an 8 gallon Current Culture Solo Bucket under California Lightworks 550 Solar System LED. For grow media I am using clay pellets and I use the entire Cultured Solutions line of nutrients. I will be showcasing this plant in a grow tutorial over on my YouTube channel and IGTV where I am going to show a detailed walk through of how I grew my original "Budzilla" plant. Unfortunately, I don't have a grow diary for her, but she is featured on my IG account. The technique I use I created after harvesting my first grow. I had used low stress training on an autoflower and achieved beautiful results. I took notes the entire grow and conducted a postmortem. I sincerely advise doing this for EVERY grow - especially when you are learning. It provides you opportunity to figure out what went right, what went wrong, what could have gone better, and what ideas you think you can toss into the mix to try to improve on the places that need revamping. I did this and I came up with the hypothesis of starting my plant off-center in the net basket, and then growing it low and in a spiral around the outside. In my head, I thought something like this could really push the limits of low stress training, especially when used on an autoflower where we have a limited time of vegetative growth. I didn't realize, at the time, JUST how effective the technique would be, but when the grower community on IG exploded over the sight of my plant, I started to get a feeling a did something right. As I was still only growing my second plant in my entire grow career, I was completely oblivious to the fact that I had pushed the normal boundaries of an autoflower.... I had nothing else to really compare it to. Nearly a year later, photos of my Budzilla are still being shared around social media in the grow community and I still get asked regularly about how I grew her. And with that, we start here on the journey to attempt the recreation of my former masterpiece. But I'm taking it one step further and giving you a detailed, step-by-step guide so that even the newest of growers can follow along and learn how to push an autoflower to its beautiful edge. Here we are for the Week 8 Update for my biggest grow to date. The ladies are really starting to show trichomes like crazy along with their buds sites swelling seems like every day. Several of the ladies I had to defoliate again because they just became so bushy and I'm trying to make sure even the lower half of the plant is getting enough light. I've also noticed that all the ladies seem to be on the same track except for AK-49 #4 which just didn't grow much due to lack of light at the beginning of its life cycle and Girl Scout Cookies #2, which is almost done! Since I'm in the home stretch I check them every day to see if they need water because they've been super thirsty since they have been in flower. One plant "lost" to budrot, luckily the only one which was 5 days older than all other 3. Budrot on 3 main buds, very early stages, noticed rather quickly as I'm a very alert person with stuff like this. Lost around 10% of infected and healthy material, and harvested early on around day 73. I lost around 2 weeks of weight gain & ripening with the early harvest, but I had to do it for the good of the other 3 plants. Infected plant was a Granite Haze F5, quick dry with wet trim to avoid more mold / rot. 5 days of drying at 20°C and 65% humidity, and light breeze of air. Final dry yield was 205g dry out of the second smallest autoflower here. Currently still in its curing stages, still a hay-ish smell to it because of the emergency dry, but I slowly get peppery notes, mixed with liqourice & ass. Yes it stinks. All other 3 plants are good so far, but this week doesn't have lots of images.

Day 15 18/07/24 Thursday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with calmag 5ml -5L. I have scratched back surface soil, and topped up with canna terra pro and DyNoMyCo ✌️💚 Day 16 19/07/24 Friday Lite Feed today, 250ml each pot small run off. Seeing excellent start to these babies. Let's get it 👌💚 Day 18 21/07/24 Sunday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with calmag 5ml to 5L. Watering in 1L each day from now. Updated video Day 19 22/07/24 Monday Nothing new to report. Starting to see them beautiful fans appear that's all 😁✌️ Day 20 23/07/24 Tuesday Feed today, giving them straight all nutes Inc flowering nutes. I will update the dose as they grow and develop a bigger hunger. Video updates 👌💚 Day 21 25/07/24 Wednesday END OF WEEK Still no water or feed since Tuesday, it has been overcast last two days though so not a lot of energy been used. Still happy and healthy 💪💚

Quebec Blast is growing good. I am doing a solution change about every 4 days. Which is not bad since it is only a gallon switch, and I do all 4 plants in this grow at once. Soon as my ph bottoms out I know it is time. That means plant is feeding water vs water is feeding plant. Another token of experience I have learned. She grows with ease she doesn't need extra attention all she needs is feed and light

TUESDAY 9/3: I almost want to delete this diary..not even worth my time I'm afraid. She seems to be stuck. Hasn't really recovered from her root problems despite being transplanted into a looser mix with a couple extra gallons of soil. She doesn't look any worse, but she also doesn't look any better, and the calendar tells me that there isn't much time left for things to change....😟 WEDNESDAY: I was out at the property for awhile today, hosed off the horsies and cleaned their hooves really well. I was there long enough that I was able to move the plants into direct sunshine for an extra couple hours. I fed her with a half-gallon of water including bembe, terpinator, tiger bloom, beastie bloomz, armor si, and big bloom. THURSDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY: I was sick as a dog . 2-day stomach virus, followed by an acute pancreatitis attack... 😷 MONDAY: I gave her about a half-gallon of aquarium water with some bembe, beastie bloomz, and tiger bloom.

my 2 Allienz seem to be hermaphrodites :/ I had to stress them in different ways. The first weeks I sprayed the leaves leaving drops under a 400w light maybe this caused the hermaphroditism? 2/10: I watered today with about 3/4 gallon each, plus cal-mag, signal, bembe, armor si, a little open sesame, and their final dose of endoboost. The short one is budding up nicely, but the taller one is still stretching. The short one looks to be considerably more indica than the other. 2/11: Wife home sick today....postponing construction project to raise the lights. 2/12: Today, I tackled the project to raise my ceiling another foot. In addition to that project, I installed and hooked up my new AC Infinity 6" intake fan. It's pulling in fresh air from the soffit vent on the eave of the attic, and currently feeding the garden with 46f fresh air. I'm able to easily maintain daytime temps in the lower 70f's now. I am able to drive the nighttime temps as low as I want. The only issue is that the outdoor RH varies quite a bit, so I ordered a 30-pint dehumidifier to put in the top of the closet. I sprayed everybody with boomboom spray to try and mitigate the light burn damage that is likely to ensue. 2/13: The taller one is still stretching a little bit, but the 2-footer is just budding up. 2/14: I fed them today with about 3/4 gallon each including grow big, big bloom, tiger bloom, cal-mag, signal, bembe, humic acid, and I switched over from Open Sesame to Beastie Bloomz. Raised the lights another couple of inches. I did some training on them and defo'd a little bit. 2/15: Installed the new dehumidifier and rigged the continuous drain on it...works great. 2/16: I rotated the edge plants and removed some old leaves. I added another 22w 3000k 4' bar light under the canopy. 2/17: I rearranged the garden and defoliated a little bit. That's it for week 8-
