Day 88
Hey growmies,
It's been four days since the last short. Today, the Pink Gelato finally started drinking water again. Looks like the cinnamon and light watering actually helped. The other plants are doing okay, but the heat’s getting to them too. I think harvest time is coming up soon – just gotta find the right moment to start drying. All three plants got two liters with Cal-Mag today. Fingers crossed they all pull through!
Day 91
I’ve stopped watering the plants since I’ll be cutting them soon. It’s just way too hot right now, and I’m not liking how the leaves are changing color — it looks weird and I’ve got no idea why. I’m also a bit worried about mold.

Harvest day today!
Had to cut my cannabis plants a bit early because of the heat – it’s been brutal lately. Still, the Tropical Marker and Purple Kush turned out great!
Unfortunately, the Pink Gelato got pretty scorched... too much sun.

She fully recovered from the heavy defoliation now i hope she puts on the weight now
August 13th: plant got flushed and right after fed ripen untill 300ppm runoff, the hairs start turn brown so in 10 days she will be ready. It has sativa shaped buds so i dont have to wait for swelling anymore

Blue Shark is still doing great, it's not the tallest, but definitely has the best deep green color and the largest leaves. Got a handful of the Coast of Maine fertilizer around the base watered in with some lime water. Bugs are looking for snacks so I used a bit of neem oil spray and put up a sticky trap. I've had so many bugs this year it's crazy. The cucumber beetles are out in full force and fornicating whenever I catch sight of them, and I've never had them as a pest before! Also, please forgive my slurring speech in the video, it's been a long week and my brain is completely addled😜

Starting to learn a lot more about ppm. An starting to drop it down for flush I’m also starting to cut out the micro and MagNifiCal out of the feedings as I’m really looking for that autumn fade. Temps already drop about 8-10 degrees form lights on to off so i believe that’s set. Gave her two waterings just plain water cause her ppms were probably as high as I am LOL I slacked on ph which probably wasn’t good but we will see also forgot to water her so she went 4 days without, let’s just say she wasn’t very happy with me ahah

Day 65. Heavy training in progress ...
All done, hopefully not many natural protectors lost, took about 30 liters bag full off leaves and shoots, could do like 100 clones easy ;)))
All girls lolitoped, cleared, defoliated, rewired, some had supercroping.
Skunks were happy when last Cheese was done, so i think/hope - all will go smooth.
This time i really cleared them a lot, maybe the most in my career ...
Cheeses performed thicker and more stacked branches .
Fun is starting !!!
Day 66. Got my last puzzle of protection against thrips. I think i beat them already, yesterday haven't noticed any thrips on leaves, but i am old and blind ;)))
They where ordered a week ago, so just in case ...
Girls look just fabulous !!! I think it will be very nice harvest by bag appeal, hopefully weight will make me smile too ;))))
I still think to strip them hard at the end of week 5 or week 6 if they will delay in progress .... At the moment they are just perfect !
Day 69. Here comes my moan ;)) Stretch was not so big as i expected, looks like 80 is more real target than 100.
They look very nice and healthy and i beaten thrips , but this time i cleared too much i feel ;))))) Future will show ...

We had very warm weather and by the end of the week rain pouring.
Did spray the girls with Safers insecticide after sunset for good measure after discovering spider mites nests on june 3rd.

i used a low dose because for my plants even half strength is often too much, this saves nutrients tho.
Around 825ppm, 18 DLI, Ph 6-6,25

Start of week 7 and they looking great I think 🙃 had a problem with spiders but it's controlled now. That product "Anti-Sniper X" did worked very well.

Started flushing last week. Next week Is the last. I'm really proud about these plants. I'll grow more times Tropicana bc Is a really good plants that grow likes a Monster. I'll do the harvest week in 10 or 14 days.

Day 21 Of flower I did a lollipop / heavy trim (feel like I could have done a lil more) and I have to say I'm running out of room with my lights it's pretty much at 9 inch away from the tallest part of the plant the ppfd high but using a phone app But not seeing no burn on the leafs The intake of water has been up to a gallon an a half (always do some kinda of runoff) pH has been around 6.1
Day 23 Of flower and I added the AC infinity fan (day 1 of fan(actually couple hrs and I think I been missing out on a oscillating fan so get one) still been slowly uping the dimmer it's been getting warmer in the tent so I turned my AC on
NOTES: ( btw it's April and I live in a new apartment and pretty much start growing after a month or so of moving in(moved in November started in the middle of January) and seems like this place holds heat so it's going to be a hot summer) but I can see myself down the road getting a (portable AC for the drying if I want to reach that 60°/60% ) plus that dehumidifier kicks off a some heat and my dumbass is growing in the room I sleep in so since all this I've slept on my couch a few times and plenty more to come

4 more weeks to go and we are harvesting, and it will assure me that I have properly flushed her, want her to be a smooth operator, her smell as cheesy as always, I am just worried I over did it with the nutrients now with water, but she will guide me.

Week 6,
2 weeks outside, first week was a blast, fantastic wheater good night temps.
Second week was much colder. Daytime temps just tipping 20 degrees celcius in the sun. Nighttime was between 6 and 7 degrees.
Pictures are plant 1 in the shed with transparent roof. Not a real serre, its more just a roof and some protection against most of the elements of nature.
Video is plant 2, she's hardening because of the harsh nights. She didnt grow as much as plant 1, but looks healthy, goal number 1 at this moment. Better times are coming so all will settle.

So far so good, starting to get a nice smell comin from the tent. Pheno 3 is still the frostiest n chunkiest but very leafy. Number one has the least frost but the colas are stacking nice. I think number 4 is starting to look the best buds are catching up to number 3 but not as leafy/ gonna b easier to trim

Dritte Blütewoche läuft ganz in Ordnung, hatte aber in den letzten drei Tagen nur über die Cam in das Zelt geschaut. Musste den Lampenabstand erhöhen.. manche Bereiche wirkten so, als hätten sie zu viel Licht.. hab aber auch zu lange mit dem gießen gewartet. Die pflanze wirkt ausgehungert
Ich habe zwischendurch immer minimal entlaubt, hab das lollipopping noch nicht geschafft.. ist aber angesetzt.
Heute erstmal ordentlich gewässert. Dünger alles beim alten, etwas weniger Stickstoff. Ph bei 6,5 und ec 1300.

People of the ganja world, here we are, he second plant has gone down, we apologise to anyone affected by PTSD from the two towers, it was not our intention to harm you with the similarity.
Our Buddy Buddha from the start to the end lived its life next to Powell, they were close! Now that the final curtain has been drawn.. or tent flap, it is with a sad heart that we at the "In the Closet with Two Strains" Studio will be saying goodbye. She was never the most impressive plant, kept feeling like she would bloom more but the conditions were never truly right for her.
Both plants had their branches sliced at the stem and large leaves removed, this purposely slowed drying down to maximise end flavour. They were both washed in cleaning pools to prepare them for their final journey in the tent.
With a sad heart we wish you farewell Buddy, we will see you and Powell soon... IN OUR SMOKE REPORT!
Yes it is time to get these ladies dried and ready to serve their purpose, life is a party, so let us have one!
