~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2205 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Mars Hydro Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 1/19- Here we go into Week Four of flower and these testers are ON FIRE!🔥🔥🔥 Both testers are in a flower frenzy and are ready to eat! Today I gave both girls their last top dressing with Down To Earth 4-8-4 Flower Mix at a ratio of 2tbsp/g and Coast of Maine's Stonington Blend 5-2-4 Organic Plant Food at a ratio of 1tbsp/g which I simplified by using 1/3 cup of the 4-8-4 and 1/4 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 4g pot and 3/8 cup of 4-8-4 and 1/8 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 3g pot. After working the amendments into the medium, I watered it in with 1g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉. It will take a week for the microbes to begin breaking it down and will last for 3-4 weeks after that which should coincide with them finishing up, or close to it, enabling them to naturally 'flush' themselves out. I've also increased the power to the HLG 650R's the the Trolmaster Hydro X Controller to 75% which has them pulling 990w at the wall and have them hung 32" above canopy. I also starting adding in 4 hours of UVA during the middle of the light cycle for the remainder of flower. I've been monitoring their leaf temperatures and they're running 71-73℉ which is perfect! I have the AutoPilot APC8200 co2 Controller set to 1100ppm with a 100ppm window and the AC Infinity Cloudline T6 controller set to maintain a 74℉ temperature in the tent while the lights are on. 1/21- I'm watering these thirsty girls daily with straight de-chlorinated water ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉ and they're both thriving! The #1 pheno stays in a perpetual state of 'praying'.... a VERY happy girl she is and the #2 is just enormous with tons of bud sites and flowers that are starting to get a coating of white trichomes giving her that frosty appearance! 1/23- I watered/fed both testers today with 0.75g of de-chlorinated water each with GreenGro's Natures Brix, Granular Myco and Flower Finisher mixed in, after which I added 1 tsp/g of unsulfured molasses and then ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉. They'll be getting straight water from here moving forward as the medium has enough food in it to support them until they finish. 1/25- Daily watering continued today with both girls receiving 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉. Both testers are extremely healthy and in max flower mode. Both testers are looking amazing and always in a constant state of 'praying'! Day 49. Those buds are now really starting to swell up. They also produce a very lovely smell🤩 A few days ago I also changed the light colour from blue and red to only red. We'll see how the buds will react to that.

Finally moved these two up into 7 gallon fabric pots. I didn’t want to let them go any longer in those little pots! Especially with the kind of year I’ve been having. Anyways, on that note, here is a video of those 3 photoperiods; one of each, an A-Train, an Alien Rock Candy, and Ackbar OG.

09.10 After the problem with the brown spots on the Gorilla Cookies on the left did get worse I decided to flush with 60l auf just ph‘ed water. Runoff ph tended towards 7 when I poured the first liters in and ended up at around 6.4. After the soil was dry again I fed her again but took a lighter dosage. The other Gorilla Cookies does also have some brown spots but not nearly as much as the other one. I went here also easy with nutrients and it didn’t get worse for some time now. I think she needs 2 more weeks until I can harvest her. The Mango Smile got the stretch I was hoping for and is now the biggest plan in my tent. Hopefully she is done soon though 😄.

Dutch Passions Shaman Meine Shamaninnnen blühen nun beide und es macht mir einen Riesen Spaß ihnen beim Wachsen zuzuschauen. Bei No. 2 habe ich Vergilbungen festgestellt, ich vermute es liegt an dem zweistündigen Tauchbad nach der Sieben-Tages-Dürre im Topf. Ich hatte sie etwas vergessen, der Schwarzkohlekompost war patschnass. Die regelmäßigeren Trockenphasen, regelmäßigere Wasserversorgung und die Brennessel- und Beinwelljauche, die ich den beiden Anfang letzter Woche gab, sollten aber schon bald Wirkung zeigen. Ebenso das Bittersalz als Magnesium- und Schwefelquelle. Der Topf ist mit 17 Litern einfach viel zu klein für die wüchsige Shamanin. No. 1, die in dem 30 Liter Topf lebt fühlt sich sehr wohl, keine Anzeichen von Stress oder Mangelerscheinungen. Die Bewässerung läuft nicht optimal aber ich versuche nun regelmäßiger nach den beiden zu schauen. Ende der Woche habe ich beiden Damen, vor allem Shamanin No. 1, einige untere Fächerblätter genommen und eine kräftige Entlaubung im Inneren der Pflanzen vorgenommen. Beide bekommen wieder ausreichend Licht, Luft und Liebe. 24 Stunden später sehen sie sichtlich erfrischt und glücklich aus. Der Mulch auf den Töpfen wird unter Hochdruck vom Bodenleben zersetzt, und die Shamaninnen haben schon längst mitbekommen, dass es da oben was leckeres zu naschen gibt. Sie Wurzeln bis in das Laub der Wildkräuter. Danke für‘s vorbeischauen. Bis nächste Woche.

Acapulco Gold has just reached the maximum height available! 😅 The flowers are coming in beautifully, despite the less than stellar growing conditions. I must say I am very pleased with the seeds from WeedSeedsExpress. First time using their genetics, and they have been impressive, to say the least! Acapulco Gold Auto has really started focusing on the buds, and they are really interesting looking flowers 🤞 9.9.25: I have done a large defoliation. Removing the fan leaves on the lower branches. As well as some on the inside of the plant. Also, I removed some of the leaves that weren't looking so good. The leaves are yellowing out on the older leaves, whilst the new leaves are becoming much darker. I decided to add in a bud building PK boosters this week. I used Bud Explosion and seaweed extract as well as Sea K. I'm really trying to make the most out of this plant and will try to get a personal record in the yeild. I lollipoped last week, and this defoliation will be the last thing that I will do to the plant. I will be top dress next week for the Ecothrive Bloom, Life Cycle, Diatomaceous Earth, and Cinnamon. This will be one of the last, depending on how quickly we progress here. I am having a problem judging the water requirements as the plant itself now weighs a LOT! This isn't good for me because I am not the best of judging without lifting the pots. Obviously, the pot is much heavier now because the plant has gotten so big. I'm trying 2 x 6.5L feedings this week, I should go up to 3 or more next week, probably. I am constantly moving the plant daily to evenly distribute the light to the plant. That's what happened this week. I'm very pleased with this plant in general, and this weeks progress has been very good. I'm more than happy! Here is what I did this week. 4.9.25: I watered with 6.5L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.1 with; 💜 3 TSP Cal-Mag 💜 1.5 TSP Bud Explosion PH: 6.1 PPM: 1120 9.9.25: I watered with 6.5L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.2 with; 💜 20ml Seaweed extract 💜 4.5 TSP Sea K(elp) PH: 6.2 PPM: 599 That's all this week, I'm very pleased with this weeks progress. This week I found a hermaphrodite amongst the ladies. I got rid of it but not before it dropped a little pollen 😭.. I,ve got my fingers crossed 🤞

easy to grow with great yield! when i touched the sticky buds my fingers smelled so awesome and i must say the results were more then great!

Harvested after 3 days flush and two days night after recommended 9 weeks. Got 2 phenos. One better and more representative of the strain description which i kept a clone of to S1 and stabilize. As usual uploading here is a pita it didnt upload my videos again really annoying, but pics show the better strain is stronger bramches, stretchier, and better buds. I cut them in the video so no one cries i didnt harvest lol. Smell is from sourish sweet to sweet and mossy like a green slurpy or something. 6 week testers were potent and frosty already so i cant imagine after proper harvest and cure.

Divine Seeds Website says this Auto Candy could be as tall as 100-120 cm. My Auto Candy is 41 inches which translates to 104cm. On POINT. What started out to be a little on the bushy side ended up sprouting up like a teenager. Divine Seeds Website says this Auto Candy should be flowering in 60 days. My Auto Candy is flowering in 42 days--WHY??--Why is it flowering 18 days sooner?? Please advise. Maybe it is this wonderful @advancenutrient jungle juice that I am using:) I do know that the past couple of weeks have been excruciatingly HOT. This week is incredible cool--Thank you Jesus for the break in weather. It will be very interesting to see what this cooler weather does during this flowering season. Coming back strong.. flipped the light schedule on 8/6 and changed the formula in the RES for transition. Plucked some big fans off that were blocking lowers. Will be stripping all fans in two days, and a full strip 19 days after. Going in tonight and cutting some lower BS off so it can focus it's energy elsewhere. I should have vegged longer so I can reach that 1/2lb goal. The tent is nowhere near full, so I doubt I'll hit it this time. Will be saving a cut from this pheno to run again in the future. -Flower day 2 she's looking real happy this morning. has been drinking quite a bit and eating as well. was on a 2-2-2 formula, now on a 2-2-3 as of this mornings top off. the main stem is nearly an inch in diameter and growing holy fuck. will be stripping the big fans off tomorrow, and trimming some lower shit off. will have before/after pics F Day6 just noticed my nutrients changed from GHE to something else?? TF? General hydroponics flora series not even listed anymore? Ah well.. RES clean/change today. Prob shoulda stripped more fans the other day, but shit happens and we learn from it right??

I believe its important to stay in touch with your roots and remember where you came from. What makes you who you are. I had a rough dome life growing up and like to stay in touch with that part of me and use it as motivation. L.N. "motivation for what? What would you like to change?" 1: "I don't want young clones growing up feeling the way I felt. Indica, Sativa, Hybrid....we're all the same genus. Indoor plants...outdoor plants....we all need to come together. 10/13/2024 Reduced light to 85%, which has dropped tent temperatures a few degrees. Daytime air temp high is around 82 again with leaf/bud temperatures around 78. Seasonal changes have dropped outdoor temperatures and therefore indoor temperatures as well. Night temperatures are getting down around 69F. Lung room humidity is bouncing between 45-50%. The plant is looking strong with some definite signs of fade setting in around the canopy. Trichome development is great, a lot of white showing up and starting to look frosty! For the last few days I have not pruned many leaves to allow the plant to pull nutrients if needed. Mainly because I still have not done a full water change in the system. I have continued to water with a reduced strength nutrient solution with the same ratio to maintain the 600 - 650 PPM window. 10/18/2024 It has been a pretty stress-free week. Humidity has dropped a bit lower than I would like so I have had to use the humidifier to keep VPD in check with daytime temperatures in the low 80s. I have spotted a few seeds developing around the plant (maybe a handful). From what I can tell it does not look pollinated and I cannot see any nanners. Either pollen from the second plant was mature enough and stuck around after culling, it pollinated itself, or parthenogenesis is at play here. Regardless, going to finish the plant as planned. Trichomes are about 95% white at this point, by inspection with 30x loupe. 10/19/2024 Started the water change to reduce reservoir PPM to about 450 by pumping some off and replacing the water with pH-adjusted water. About 5 gallons cycled. Reduced lights to 80%. The fade is really taking hold and looking quite nice. Plant is still very healthy and the smells are amazing! Trichomes are about 98% white by 30x loupe.

Hoping to see lots of bud densing this coming week. The smell of the terps this morning was crazy. A bit over 3 more weeks, I can't wait. Day 44 update: Leaf yellowing has definitely been slowed, and senescence of lower yellowed leaves has also seemed to stop. Some leaves that continue to be of concern are particularly those accumulating anthocyanins, likely due to my low night time temps. I think they are doing very well, with some very minor problems. This cycle is in the winter for me, so the humidity and temps has been low, but I am happy to not have had to deal with pests or mold like in previous cycles. Day 45 update: broke out the loop today to inspect the trichs, still looking very immature, as expected given there is still a few weeks left until the planned harvest date. Today I watered in a 1/4dose of Buildabloom, some quillaja, pineapple fpj, and some rootwise enzyme elixer.
