Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. 12/31: They are both coming along nicely.👍 Today was the first day in which I fed them some Big Bloom and Boomerang along with humic acid, pH'd to 6.1. 1/3: I've been letting them dry out a bit for the last two days. They've got roots coming out the bottoms now...I'll probably transplant them into 5 gallon fabric pots tomorrow or the next day. I ordered a 4' 180w tube light with 578 LEDs..it has a 360 degree beam with 3000k and a bunch of 660nm. It's waterproof, so no worries about keeping it beneath my canopy to illuminate the lower branches and hopefully increase the density of those buds that never get much top-lighting. Today, I mounted my two new 24w UVA LED lights (395-405nm) to my frame. I'll run them 6 hours a day from the time I put the plants into my closet, until harvest. It is my understanding that exposure to UVA, particularly during the vegetative stage, triggers many different plant defense hormones, which speed growth and can increase heartiness to withstand constant exposure to UVB without suffering as much cellular damage as usual. I'm also ordering a 2' Solacure FlowerPower UVB (285nm-310nm) next week to use during flowering to stress the plants and increase trichome production. 1/4: I did a few foliar feedings with big bloom and fulvic acid today. 1/5: Transplanting day. I dusted their roots with magic dust and transplanted them into 5 gallon pots today. I had some excellent compost with biochar and myco that I mixed into their soil, too. I watered them in with about 2 quarts of their first taste of full strength veg nutes, plus mycorrhizal fungi, trichoderma, beneficial bacteria, and humic acid, then I sprayed them with biotabs boomboom spray when finished. The were moved into the closet under the quantum boards, UVA's, and a pair of MiracleLED blue bulbs. I'll start adding far-red spectra to the equation in the next few days.

Blue dream is looking good trying to get a little color out of her but not seeing anything. Turned the nutrients down a little much. The clones that I pulled from her I will utilize an extra topping to bring out more colas.

Merry Christmas y’all! Week 4 is behind Topped both Mimosa and Cookies, they took it like champs! They exploded immediately with side grow. Such a pleasure to watch them strive. Increased EC from under 1 to 1.5 and they are super happy with it. Probably will climb to 2 to see how they like it. Getting closer to preflower would completely flush till runout is even with water poured in and would start adding flowering boosters. Starting to like coco for the full control and immediate reaction to my actions and the chance to fix my screwups. A bit of a hustle to water every day tho :) Best wishes to you and your close ones! Man did this plant get a lot of attention this week. Did a leaf strip to get a closer look at what ive got going on. Topped about 6 branches and did some LST. Also had a mishap with the main steam snapping so I ended up topping it down a bit and the plant has responded nicely to it and didn't get stressed out to much. Weather has been great so no more hot tent going on. Hoping to have maybe one last week of veg and then flip it to flower. That's all for now so happy growing everyone.

Good week in the tent, finally now seeing the flowers kicking in. Only took about 3 weeks under 12/12, lol. They've stretched quite a bit since the flip, and by the looks of things should yield more than I initially thought. -10/6- Gave the girls a drink and a defo today, in the interest of airflow mainly. Don't want a repeat of last time. No matter how miniscule the amount of mold, any is a serious issue by my (and anyone resonable's) standards.

En las fotos ya llevaban unos días con el horario de floración. He regalado un par de plantas y solo conservaré tres en el armario. Voy a probar para florecer un montaje LED cob con cinco diódos Luminus de 3500k y una fuente de alimentación Sosen de 200W, le pongo diodos de más para distribuir mejor la luz y gestionar mejor la temperatura. Aún así regulo la fuente de alimentación a 170 W a ver qué es capaz de producir... La alimentación de floración será tambien BioBizz, Bio Bloom y Top Max.

Soo! Eventful week in the tent as I think I I have discovered a lot of my problems with slow growth. So I purchased an EC meter at the beginning of the week and decided to test my run off (rookie mistake this was the first run off since the air pot transfer) and it's fair to say my EC was EXTREMELY fu**ing high... like 3.6 high so this week the first flush I did quarter strength feed I got the run off down to 2.8 then next flush it came down to 2.2 at half strength and the last flush was half strength with an introduction to terpinator and the run off came down to 1.6. It's fair to say I have notice a incredible difference in growth I really want to switch over this week but I'm going to let the plants recover and flick the next week. Little bit worried about space but I love a challenge. Also been a bit of an expensive week as my carbon filter final packed up so I treat myself to a new ram air (6inch) Happy growing!

Today is Day 50 !! We have started flower an they are just looking amazing! We have switched up the nutrients for flower, instead of 1 tsp bloom and 3 tsp of veg , we just swap 3 tsp of bloom and 1 tsp of veg !! Can’t wait to see what these laddies do this week!!
