[Day 50] 12/18/21 - filled 13 gallon reservoir with 7.5 ph well water adjusted to 6.4

Skipped a week in my journal due to travels. Had my neighbor water my plants. Having some minor early deficiencies with my photoperiod plants (particularly the chem brulee)... so I decided to go ahead and give everything a solid feeding of Foop Bloom 1, 2 and Sweetener. This is their first ever bottled feeding. Have been running on supersoil and a prayer. Also top dressed everything and mulched with rice straw to help with the soil drying out a bit too quickly. Leaves have been yellowing on all three. Mostly relegated to the interior of the plants. Chem Brulee is looking a bit too yellow overall, as well. French Macaron is a 66in. Chem Brulee is 56in. Pineapple Meatball is 45in. I have a sneaking suspicion that my neighbor didn't water them quite enough while I was gone. Will probably continue with the Foop feedings... probably at least once per week. Don't want to overdo it. Also top dressed with my flowering top dress mix and mulched all plants with a thin layer of rice straw. 8/4 Sprayed with Neem Oil and Castile Soap 8/5 Sprayed with Gravenstein Apple FFJ and OHN 8/6 Sprayed with Neem Oil and Castile Soap (this will likely be the last time I spray with Neem Oil, as I don't want residual oils as buds start swelling. Also fed 1/4 strength FOOP to ensure we head off any deficiencies.

I’ll update ya’ll on the smells and tastes after drying and curing! So far both are packed with ice and smell very potent, a little overpowering still, so I want to give it some time before they’re cures and can show their true terpene profile!

Noticed some more pink/purple stems on the plants and decided to increase the phosphorus content in the feed by mixing in half grow and half bloom from the nutrient lineup. I'd use the PK booster I have but its to high in K for my liking. The entire lineup is very high in K. mixing grow and bloom gives a NPK ratio of 7-7-14 then done 1:1 equal parts. Grow=8-4-15 Bloom=6-10-14 Boost=1-15-30 Run off was a bit high for my liking but only seeing minimal signs of nutrient burn. Still watering once with feed and runoff and then later in the week with water and no/little runoff for my watering cycle.The number in the nutrient section are wrong but the EC and ratio are correct. Also impressed the roots have started popping out the bottom of the container already after only being transplanted for a week. Good root growth on these ones. Lights doing well. The V1 spectrum is good on the medic grow mini sun-2's 240w. No issues so far, dimmed at 80% . Yeeehaw!! #s 3 and 4 to harvest and both also main-line/manifold and I am sold! THese buds were massive stinky ol things. I'm a classic outdoor grower and grew up wet trimming, so these were drying on a mesh rack in a 2x2 tent to control humidity.

Just germinated the 3 OG Kush seeds, only one had a tap root. Decided to soak my White Widow just in case only one OG plant makes it. 6 plants in total (if the other 2 OG makes it)

Week 2: Moving the Twins Outside After a slow start, I decided to move the twins outside and plant them together in a 5-gallon pot. Space is limited, and with how slowly they’ve been growing, they’re not getting their own pots this time. I’ve had slow starters before, and they don’t usually yield much, so I’m keeping my expectations low. Since these two have been particularly slow, they’re sharing a single outdoor pot. The medium I used is a mix of 50% coco, 30% soil, and 20% perlite—this should provide good drainage and aeration. I used Great White from Plant Revolution during the transplant. The taproots on both seedlings were barely visible, which made me nervous—especially with autos, since they can be sensitive to transplanting. But it had to be done. Now, they’re settling into their new outdoor setup, and I’ll be watching closely to see how they respond. Current Setup: Medium: 50% coco, 30% soil, 20% perlite (now in a 5-gallon outdoor pot) Transplant: Used Great White when transplanting Taproots: Barely visible on both seedlings Lights: Moved outdoors Nutrients: Biobizz Fish Mix for now; Big Plant Science later if needed

Flush is on! A gallon a day each of pH’ed tap water for the next week and a half to 2 weeks. Fall colors galore incoming! One is already going mad purple as I started it on the flush a bit earlier.

Stretched a bit. Ramping up their nutrients. She’s doing well! She had a prominent main cola. She’s not as big as the other testers. Bu tv seems to be the most frosty so far

Have about 10 flavors still trying to decide on what exactly I’m doing I chopped them in half, I’m excited to see these flowers from the outdoor grow I have

Week 13, Week 13 is the final week! Woohoo! I used some ClearEx at the start of the week to help the flushing process. I am beyond happy with the results. The buds are big and dense! Just got a new 600w mh/hps light for now it’s in my current setup with my 250 n it’s dimmed to 50%, only reason I mention is b/c the plants seem to be loving it!! They’re 12 days old from seed, still just ph’d water for them! So far so good :P
