So this is week the beginning of week 5 seems like it started to stretch a bit and hasn't gotten as bushy as I thought lowered the light a bit to se if it would help will see how the week goes..decided to do some LST on the plant let’s see how she likes it

It’s day 33’from seed. All of the plants are really healthy. The plants have a really great root system at this point… I am currently slowly moving the light intensity up to the veg area. Now that are in a groove they are about to explode… I’m hoping I can flip the plants to flower in 1 weeks but I’m thinking I will wait to weeks and let them get a little larger. The plants are just now starting to look visually different next weeks update I will be ababoe to go into the visual differences, they are just not that extreme yet to really talk to much about.

The temperatures, humidity, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil. Day 1 we had rain all morning and intermittently throughout the day. The high temperature was 71°. This is challenging weather for cannabis. Thankfully these are in veg, and are thriving in it. Day 2 we had lots of sunshine and high temperature around 84°. Day 3 we had partly cloudy skies and a high temp of 72°. I watered from the hose about 2 gallons per pot. Day 4 we had clear skies, lots of sunshine, and a high temperature of 89°. Day 5 Day 6 we had rain the previous night and today lots of sunshine. High temperature was 86°. The rain took care of the watering today. Day 7 we had a high temperature of 88°F. Skies were clear and sunny. I watered 2-2.5 gallons from the hose. This week was a success. The plants added almost a foot in height. They've gotten much bigger and appreciate the phosphorus that was built up in the recycled soil. I added more stakes to support the two main branches. This supports the branches and spreads them out to get the light in to lower branches. We are having warmer temperatures and these girls are loving it. I expect an explosion of growth next week.

Both phenos are healthy, lush, and stretching beautifully, clearly ready for the show ahead. ⸻ 📸 Photo Studio Glam We took them out for another studio shoot, bright lights, clean background, and every angle showing off their deep greens and perfect branching. Soon, their beauty will be dressed in flowers, but for now, the leaf structure alone is worthy of the spotlight. ⸻ 🌡️ Current Conditions • Room Temp: 31°C • Humidity: 50.3% • VPD: 2.23 kPa • PPFD: 766 µmol/m²/s • Soil EC: ~2.0 • Soil Temp: 25.6°C Yes, the temperature is running hot — AC unit is on the way to lock it back into our ideal zone. ⸻ 💬 Heat in the Grow Room – Risks & Benefits Potential Risks: • Faster substrate drying = more frequent irrigation needed • Higher transpiration rates can stress plants if roots can’t keep up • Slightly increased risk of light stress at high PPFD without proper cooling • Possible reduced terpene retention if sustained into late flower Possible Benefits (short term in veg/pre-flower): • Accelerated metabolism — plants grow and stretch faster • Increased water/nutrient uptake (if well-fed and watered on time) • Can improve CO₂ usage efficiency if levels are high enough Bottom line: As long as they’re hydrated, fed, and ventilated, short bursts of high temp are manageable. But for flowering, we want to keep daytime temps closer to 24–28°C for optimal quality. ⸻ 💧 Watering Strategy We water when the soil dries to about 25% moisture remaining, this encourages: • Stronger root growth searching for water • Better oxygenation of the root zone • Less risk of root rot in warm temps Right now: They’re drinking daily due to the heat, so we’re feeding daily as well. ⸻ Current Feeding (per L of water) • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml • Aptus All-in-One Liquid – 1 ml • Aptus Top Booster – 0.25 ml With the increased drinking rate, nutrient uptake has increased — meaning no signs of deficiency, just steady lush green. ⸻ 🚀 Looking Ahead • AC installation will stabilize temps, allowing tighter VPD control • First signs of pistils should appear within the next 7–10 days • We’ll begin adjusting feed ratios for early bloom once flowers set • Light intensity will climb further as stretch continues ⸻ 💚 Closing Note: This week is all about momentum, heat or no heat, the Lava Cakes are pushing upward, prepping themselves for a heavy flower load. 10/8 - going along steady. I'll take few more glam shots later. 2 MONTHS. It may not look like much but I'm proud of these 3. This is probably the healthiest tent I've had since I started growing inside. I just want them to fill out the net a little better before I flip. 10/10 - trellis training is underway. Between topping and this, I should have a nice, full canopy this time around. I've estimated about 72 squares in my net yet only about 35 or so colas forming. Wondering if I should really I push this one or quit while I'm ahead. One thing is for certain, Moby dick is responding much faster to being topped than GZ. Every stem of Moby I've topped has grown lower shoots aggressively and quickly. Gz has been far slower to respond. Noted. Can't wait to see these things bud. But patience is a virtue here. If the veg stage is any indicator, the buds going to be phenomenal.

Two third of the Cherrytinis needed to be tied to a help in form of a staff in combination with velcro band, because this particular cultivar tends to grow all branches extremely long and therefore relatively thin, even tho he got enough silicat. The ripper seeds strain is doing what this cultivar usually does: It is growing small branches with a few nodies. The buds are really growing thick, which is quite beautiful. This cultivar would perfectly fit a sog, but is sadly growing so tiny, that it would take too long until the mother could produce enough cutrings a time, to start a SOG.
