Hard to believe it's been another week. These beautiful girls are growing great. They're definitely swelling amazing especially at the top colas. Starting to see some faded leaves so I think I'll back down my nutes from 1050 to around 800. All in all Happy Growing.

Week 6 of veg in the books and I’m rather disappointed with this strain overall. Recovery time on the topping was terrible (if they recovered at all), internodal spacing is extremely stretchy which isn’t at all lending to more pronounced side branching. On top of that they just aren’t growing quickly at all. The fan leaves are massive and the bud sites are very limited. None of them have even begun to show vegetative maturity. Well still take the run to flower but I don’t expect to take this batch of F1 seed any further with these types of characteristics. If the bud is anything short of straight 🔥, I’ll pitch the whole lot of seeds as simply unworthy. Oh well. It was still worth a shot… no deficiencies or issues - just a shitty genetic at this point.

Alright I've updated this postmortem and cure just to give an idea of what I was up to during the dry and cure weeks. This grow was a ton of work and I'm very please with the results. I learned a ton about soil and environment control and really feel like I'm gaining confidence and coming into my own as a cultivator. I've been playing a lot with ice water hash and rosin and have set some neat goals for the future like hunting ice water hash cultivars, going perpetual and expanding the amount of canopy I can work with by building a network of remote-operated satellite flower tents in friends' and family's abodes . Hey guys . A wonderful week goes by with a super growth :-). After I topped it for the first time last week, it recovered very quickly and showed great growth. I don't think I will use topping again on the lady because I should slowly blossom with a few other women :-) think it will be ready in the next 7-14 days for Flowering 👍. This week it was poured 3 times with 1 l each time (for nutrients, see table above). The tent was cleaned and the health of all women was checked :-). After the photos she was sprayed again with neem oil so that the last little tripse disappeared. Even if you can't see any more trips I will spray it one last time next week to make sure :-). Heute habe ich etwas Besonderes für Euch - in dem Video zeige ich Euch, wie ich Wurmtee aus meiner eigenen Wurmbox vom Balkon ernte und ihn im Verhältnis 1:10 mit Wasser verdünne und meine Pflanze damit gieße. Ab dieser Woche gibt es bis zum Ende des Grows ein Mal Wurmtee in der Woche. Ansonsten entwickelt sich die Pflanze schön weiter. Mittlerweile ist sie durch den Stretch bei 35cm Höhe angelangt - noch habe ich etwas Höhenpuffer, daher binde ich sie nicht weiter runter. Die Blüte ist im vollen Gange und es beginnt langsam zu duften. Durstig ist die Dame mittlerweile auch und sie erhält nun alle 2 Tage 2 Liter Wasser. Nach wie vor ohne PH-Anpassung. Dabei achte ich darauf, dass die Wassertemperatur bei 20 Grad liegt. Ich bin schon sehr gespannt, wie sich die Buds entwickeln im Vergleich zu meinem vorherigen Run im 30-Liter-Stofftopf mit meiner Papaya Cookies Auto. From this week until the end of the grow, I’ll be giving her worm tea once a week. Other than that, the plant is developing beautifully. Thanks to the stretch, she has reached a height of 35 cm. I still have some vertical space left, so I’m not doing any more LST (low stress training) for now. Flowering is in full swing, and the smell is starting to kick in. The lady is getting quite thirsty, too—she’s now receiving 2 liters of water every two days. I’m still not adjusting the pH, but I make sure the water temperature is around 20°C. I’m really excited to see how the buds develop compared to my previous run in the 30-liter fabric pot with my Papaya Cookies Auto. For my next run, I’m planning another video where I’ll show you how I reuse and amend my living soil using things like my own worm castings.

I have been using eggshells and coffee grounds as fertilizer / it is indoors but i am growing out of a pot. I am trying to not use lamps (as I’m poor) or store bought fertilizer. Any suggestions or comments would be very helpful. The internode stems that are currently growing have odd shaped fingers / are not symmetrical. You can kind of see what I mean by the video. The leaves are wilting a little and are a little yellow ish. I have topped it and repotted in the last 11 days and it has looked healthy (no pests, no other abnormalities except for one leaf that came out a little screwed) since germination. Currently know it is a GG4 seedling/plant.

I was flushing all the plants since August 9. You can see in the videos with de microscope ( I really try my best, but it was pretty difficult) the trichomes looks cloudy and some of them looks amber. Maybe in the videos you can't see it because my hand was really shaky. August 17: all the plants were in dark. August 18: i cleaned all the plants, buds, leafs, everything..., spraying water to remove the rests of potasic soap. Today august 18, during the nigth, i'm going to harvest all the ladies. In the past 3 days i didn't watering the plants and the smell was stronger. August 19: Before dry -Critical Kush: 150g -Red dwarf: 60g -Syrup (2 plants): 270g -Lemon (4 plants): 570g

Plant Progress: 1. Tropicana Cookies: Growth: The plant showed significant progress, reaching a height of 37 cm by mid-week. Health: The plants remained healthy throughout the week. No signs of nutrient burn or deficiencies were noted. Interventions: Regular watering with 2 liters on alternating days and nutrient feeding with Alfa Boost at 1-1.5 ml/L. Light defoliation was performed on the 23rd to improve light penetration and airflow. Environmental Conditions: Maintained a stable temperature range (25-27°C during the day and 20-21°C at night) with relative humidity levels ranging from 62% to 75%. Increased PPFD to 500 towards the end of the week. Training: Introduced LST on the 27th to promote even canopy development and better light exposure to lower nodes. 2. Gorilla Zkittlez: Growth: Continued healthy growth, with notable vertical development reaching 21 cm by the end of the week. Health: Overall health was good, with no significant issues. A slight abrasion on a large fan leaf was monitored but did not worsen. Interventions: Followed the same watering and feeding schedule as Tropicana Cookies. Conducted light defoliation on the 23rd to enhance airflow. Environmental Conditions: Similar stable conditions as the other strains, with temperature and humidity maintained within optimal ranges. PPFD was increased to 500. Training: LST was implemented on the 27th to encourage bushier growth and ensure even light distribution. 3. Apple Strudel: Growth: Displayed steady growth, reaching a height of 21 cm by the end of the week. Health: Maintained good health throughout the week with no visible signs of stress or nutrient issues. Interventions: Consistent watering and feeding regimen with 2 liters of water on watering days and Alfa Boost nutrients. Light defoliation was done on the 23rd. Environmental Conditions: Environmental parameters were kept stable, mirroring the conditions of the other strains. The increase in humidity to 75% towards the end of the week was monitored. Training: LST was applied on the 27th to support even growth and improve light access to all parts of the plant. General Observations and Actions: Lighting and CO2 Enhancement: Continued to monitor and adjust the PPFD levels to ensure optimal light exposure for all plants, with a final adjustment to 500 towards the end of the week. CO2 levels were kept stable to support healthy growth. Nutrient Management: The consistent use of Alfa Boost and Epsom Salt has been effective, with no signs of overfeeding or deficiencies observed. Training and Defoliation: Light defoliation was carried out to enhance light penetration and airflow, reducing the risk of mold and pests. LST was introduced to encourage more even and bushy growth, promoting better overall plant health and yield potential. Conclusion: Week 4 has shown continued healthy development across all strains. The plants are responding well to the environmental conditions, nutrient regimen, and training techniques. So Woche 6is angelaufen und ich entschuldige mich schon mal in Woche 5 nichts an Bildern hochgeladen zu haben. Hab jetzt die 2 hinteren Sapphire scout zum 2ten mal getoppt die vordere davon nur 1x bei den rqs zz is bis jetzt nur die hintere 1x getoppt und die beiden vorderen noch garnicht hoffe die beiden kann ich wenigstens einmal toppen die machen mir echt Sorgen vorallem die am Anfang stehende zz is recht krüppelig ich denke mal das die wurzeln nicht richtig durch die jiffies kommen (netzt nicht AUFGELÖST) würde in Zukunft die scheiss Dinger weg lassen und mir kleine durchsichtige getränkeflaschen zerschneiden um daraus anzuchtopfe zu machen dann fällt das netz weg und es gibt wohl weniger Sorgen nächste Woche lass ich mein scrog netzt drauf um das ganze zu begrenzen und hoffe das dann die rqs samen noch aufholen können

Hello growers, This week marks an important step in the development of the Pineapple Upside Down from Humboldt. The plant has now been moved into the flowering tent. The main reason for this change is simply to give the plant more space and to benefit from better environmental control. The larger tent allows improved airflow and more stable climate management, which should help the plant maintain a healthier rhythm moving forward. Even though the light fixture changed, the spectrum remains the same. The plant is still running under a 3500K spectrum, so there should be no real shock from a lighting perspective. Light intensity has been kept around 600 PPFD, which means the plant continues growing under conditions that are very similar to what it was used to previously. Some environmental adjustments were also made this week. The VPD has been increased slightly to around 0.8–0.9 in order to encourage stronger transpiration and improve nutrient uptake. Last week the plant showed a small slowdown in growth and overall vigor. The leaves were slightly droopy and the plant looked a bit less energetic than usual. After reviewing the parameters, the most likely explanation was a pH drift upward toward 6.2–6.3. While this range is not catastrophic, it can reduce the plant’s ability to absorb certain nutrients, especially nitrogen, which could explain the temporary slowdown that was observed. The pH has now been corrected and brought back down to around 5.8, allowing it to naturally fluctuate between 5.5 and 5.9. Since this adjustment is very recent, the plant will need a few days to fully respond to the correction. Earlier in the week, the EC had been increased to 2.0 to test the possibility of a nutrient deficiency. Toward the end of the nutrient solution cycle, the mixture was slightly diluted with osmosis water in order to rebalance the EC and avoid pushing the plant too hard. This week was also used to work heavily on the plant’s structure. A topping combined with a strong defoliation was performed. The canopy was opened up significantly, removing a large amount of leaf mass to improve airflow, light penetration, and overall structure. It was not a light cleanup — the plant was trimmed quite aggressively in order to reset the canopy properly. The plant originally had four main apexes, and each of those was topped again. This now creates approximately sixteen main growth points. With sixteen apexes, the plant structure is now approaching the intended final architecture. From this point forward, the main objective is simply to allow the plant to recover from this fairly heavy pruning session, regain strength, and stabilize before any further training. Over the coming days and weeks, the focus will be on observing how the plant responds to the pH correction, the environmental adjustments, and the recent structural work. For now, everything appears to be back under control. We’ll see how she responds over the next week. Alright growers, take care and see you next week.

Week 5 Notes & Observations: Topped both plants and starved for 11 days. The idea being that I want the roots to search out new space and expose more root growth to the nutes in the soil to better help in the growth after the training rather than just the recovery. I made a decision on P2 and decided to keep both sides for a total of 8 colas on each plant since but topping day P2 was looking way better and showing nice re-growth. I recognize that growth will be stunted on the damaged side, but I want to see by how much in case I do it again in the future. Neither plant broke on this last training and bot seem in good health. I am however monitoring a possible calcium deficit and treating with CaliMagic. - inspected defoliated fan leaves and discovered Spider Mites - treated with Captain Jack's Deadbug concentrate mixed into 1 cup of purified water - sprayed tops and bottoms of leaves on all plants inside that tent. Will have to retreat again in 3 days, and possibly again after that. ***from label*** LAWNS AND ORNAMENTALS: Use Site Pests Controlled Comments outdoor ornamentals (herbaceous and woody plants) emerald ash borer gall midges leaf feeding beetles leafminers sawfly larvae spider mites1 thrips worms, including loopers, webworms, bagworms, gypsy moth, and tent caterpillars Uniformly spray foliage to point of runoff. Uniform coverage of upper and lower leaf surfaces is essential for effective insect control. Apply when spider mites are first observed prior to webbing and before mite populations have become severe. Reapply after 7 to 10 days (3 to 5 days in greenhouses and structures that can be altered to be closed or open) to contact newly hatched nymphs and repeat until infestation is managed. Uniform coverage of both upper and lower leaf surfaces is critical. VPD and PPFD: This week I will hold the humidity in the tent to about 70-75% and temps will be monitored for 70- 75F daytime and 66-71F overnight. Im adjusting my lights and look to control them at ~400ppfd max. Meaning slight increase over last week but mostly just growth increase. Feed & Monitor: ***All feeds with nutes use either a whole ratio or combination of "Veg Mix" and "Bloom Mix"concentrates DILUTED in water until a total ppm of add-in is reached using a (Total Dissolved Solids) TDS Meter measured in PPM (parts per million). The "Veg Mix" concentrate will eventually be added in smaller ratios and "Bloom Mix" concentrate will eventually replace the "Veg Mix" concentrate entirely. The ppm and ratios of each feed will be listed when I feed. Veg mix recipe is on week 2. Bloom Mix recipe is on week 5.*** Day 44 (last feed was day 34) Tested and Calibrated my ph pens. Starting weight from each pot was 18 lbs and 8 oz, both P1 and P2 weighed 11lbs 2oz before feed. Each plant got 1.5 gallon of purified water with 362ppm Veg Mix concentrate (recipe on week 2) and 106ppm Bloom Mix concentrate (recipe on week 5). The ph on this feed was balanced to 6.1ph to combat the original higher runoff ph from the previous runoff feed tests. After feed, both P1 and P2 weighed 19lbs 2oz after feed this time (P1 was 22lbs 3oz and P2 weighed 21lbs 14oz after last feed). I got about 8cups of runoff on both P1 and P2 this time (both plants gave up 5 cups of runoff last feed). Runoff for P1 ph was 6.3 with 906ppm (6.45 with 1170ppm last feed) and P2 was 6.4 with 814ppm 6.45 with 1230ppm last feed). Top soil tested at: P1 6.23,6.21,6.26,6.27 for an avg of 6.24 (6.327 avg after last feed) and P2 tested at 6.4,6.39,6.25,6.46 avg 6.37 (6.402avg after last feed) - next feed will be 6.3ph as Im liking where the ph is now and I dont see any issues from feed or training.
