8/21/24 gave her some cal mag from the uprising foundation. 5 ml total for the 5 gal pot. 3 tsp of grow and 2 tsp of bloom. slowly transitioning from grow to bloom over the course of 4 weeks. did some light defoliation and some lollipopping. shes not too bushy in the sense of leafy. her fan leaves have super long petioles. 8/26 she's grown four inches so far this week. about an inch a day. wild.

Well, today was the last day veging. I defoliated the lower 20%, switched on the red LEDs and set the timer to 12h. I activated the 2nd fan inside the box and also switched on the mini fan connected to the cooled hood. I'll leave it open until the stretch or the smell begins. As soon as there's any smell, I'll close the system by adding the glass shield. Also, I'll save the resulting temperature drop for the later weeks so... let's see... Nutrients added: about nothing. I read somewhere you should flush the plants before the switch so I just feed a normal quantity of water with only a bit of nutrients. It's around a 1/20th of the recommended dose maybe. Let the adventure begin!

Day 89!!!! I came back from vacation and started harvesting right away, so the girl grew really big, but I gave her too little light, and at the end of the growth I didn't remove the leaves :( because I was busy on vacation :( but basically I'm still incredibly happy, her flowers are not very firm, they have a lot of "AIR", but a lot of shiny sticky trichomes, the girl grew really well throughout her growth, next time I will definitely use LST, this growth was with very little LST, there will be an update when the harvest dries up :) good luck to everyone:).

For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. AC Infinity does not extend the warranty to the replacement parts. I guess that makes sense since they would be in a state of perpetual free replacements. I bought a new one from Amazon that came with a new controller which is different from the controller 69 currently using. I decided that while it is very inconvenient and inefficient to monitor the tent through the day, I would rather finish this Frostbanger run without introducing a new unknown variable. I will continue using 3 circulating fans, the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. They are living up to the new strain’s name. #5 is the frostiest followed by #2. Wow week 3 of flower and that much frost already. Started from seed this lady's have 17 days under half load 4 X 50W Cree CXB3590 CRI 80 3000K custom build led. 7days in rockwool cube under a dome , 10 days in 750ml pot. Freshly transplanted into to final pot. They have received 250ml of fertilizer solution and transplation soil was moisted with 6.5PH water. Led now running on full load. This project have some custom/extra gadget, a prototype growing controler. Hardware Specs: Raspberry PI 4 4Go Ram + SSD 120Go Phat sparkfun qwiic i2c hub + i2c sensor for : temperature,humidity, co2, tvoc, air pressure and distance measurement(plant height) Linked with one custom wifi power bar for schedule and countdown. Not going to go into much detail on the individual plants this week since there is nothing exciting to report. Only note this week is something we all pretty much know already. Organics and hydroponics dont play well together! I was using gringo Rasta calmag and it clogged all my feed lines. I ordered some calimagic so this wont be an issue anymore. Everyone is growing well and stretching quite a bit. I started them on some maxibloom. I will increase it as I lower the maxigro over the next couple weeks. Pretty boring right now, but stick around a few weeks and that might change.

This week we will see the colas and buds really dense up. We are about 2 weeks away from harvest now. Next week I will start my flush.
