Week 6! Day 44: 2L (PH6.3) + half-dose 4-1.5-4 + 1ml/L CalMag Today. I learned that with half strength Bloom Feed and a dose of CalMag Pro, the PH of the solution ends up at exactly 6.3 - this means that most of my watering of last grow was too acidic because I often still added PH- Nonetheless, while checking up on the NLA I noticed her symptoms progressing and I did what any self respecting grower would do: remove the evidence. Coincidentally, I've removed most of the damaged leaves to make checking up on her easier and to more easily figure out whether she's improving or deteriorating. Additional thoughts: While inspecting the pictures again, I noticed that perhaps some of the damage might be a pointer towards the phosphorus toxicity theory, caused by the premature PK13-14 feed, and the additional feed of last week. That said, perhaps it's a convenience that the Pokon bloom feed does not contain that much phosphorus relatively - and since it's an organic nutrient it will not immediately raise phosphorus levels even higher. Hence, this week will mostly be focused on monitoring her symptoms, while the buds are steadily thickening up. Day 46: Moist, no water. Her symptoms are progressing, I noticed that some of the leaves have a tighter gradient from green at the stem, to yellow about half way the leaf. What this means? I have no idea, I'd like to think it's a response to the fresh supply of Nitrogen from the bloom feed. However, it's just as likely that this tighter gradient went unnoticed until now. She's got some pretty rough nute burn, so I think the best course of action is to stop feeding her entirely for now. I'm quite certain that, with the PK13-14 and the organic bloom feed, she'll have enough nutrients for the coming period. Buds are thickening up nicely though. Her terpenes are starting to develop and I can see more and more trichomes appearing. Day 48: 2L (6.3PH) Her symptoms progressed even further, I'm not worried though. I removed more leaves from the lower, shaded area.

Another 19cm vertical growth this week and she got a lot bushier. She has started flowering at last. For nutrients I'm using 15g of 20-20-20 powder mixed with 10L of water. Also added 4ml/L of both Cannazym and Terpinator. This brings it to around 1600ppm including ~300ppm for my clean water. The calmag deficiency has improved significantly and the plants are now putting all their energy into the flowers. In the meantime, no new eggs are forming, which makes us very happy :)

Cruising. Kept the nutrients the same as last week as the plants are going a bit slower than advertised by crop king and Sonoma seeds. Looking like flowering will take ~10 weeks when all said and done. Minor amount of defoliation done. Will be the last time to make sure I don’t stunt these autos. And ONLY defoliating. No pruning as I’m too afraid it will stunt the plants. Lots of buds forming now. Plants looking great. Noticed that the sun shines through my windows for several hours and directly onto the plants so I have started opening up the tent everyday and letting the sun shine on them. Helping to ripen the lower buds and have them be less larfy when all said and done. This does cause the plants to drink water like no other so have had to up the volume on fertigations. I’ve been using a LUX meter to check and make sure top colas aren’t getting too much light. The thing works great! Well worth the purchase. My mothers on the other side of the tent are big so need less light and as a result I have been able to move two of their lights in close to the flowering autos. The additional light is definitely helping bulk up the plant. Currently over the two plants there is (as listed) an HLG 135w Rspec, an HLG 100 V2 3000k, an HLG 65 V2 4000k and a Mars Hydro TS600. Tons of light! I’m in isolation as 2 of my housemates got COVID. As a result, I have a LOT of time to spend babying these plants and it is paying off. See you next week!

I started adding liquid KoolBloom to my reservoir at the start of week 6 after the switch to 12/12. The buds are starting to fill out. Looks like maybe another 2-3 weeks to finish.

Here we are again to tell you about this crazy strain that we found: White Truffle by Zamnesia, worked with a main lining sent into flowering very quickly due to the arrival of the heat. We can spend two and a half months doing main lining but guys it also depends on the times and many other factors, if it were up to me I would always make trees but you have to adapt. ** We remind all users that we grow two plants per strain, one worked with specific techniques and the other left to grow freely this was main lined. Description // This plant was worked with a main lining, having very irregular internodes it was complicated to decide what to keep and what to leave but in the end the plant is not bad at all. The flowers are very particular we have pure polypeptide flowers that have given us a very particular shape. The resin is also very good and after 48 hours of darkness there is that effect that only the dark finale can give, do not give up on this procedure especially in periods of less resining like summer. Trichomes and maturation // We did a thorough microscopic analysis 10x (and 10x x 1.6) and noticed a good percentage of milky/lumpy trichomes; The percentage of amber trichomes was also excellent and still a bit transparent, but that's fine for us as we're not crazy about THC oxidation and hyper indica effects around here.
