Hello Growmies, The final chapter of this incredible journey has unfolded, and it's time to share the bountiful harvest and reflections on the entire cultivation process. Trimming the plant was a joy, and with gentle fingers, I removed all the large fan leaves. The precision in this process revealed the true beauty of the buds, setting the stage for a smooth harvest. With care and gratitude, the plant was chopped, and the buds were hung to dry. The anticipation for what lies ahead only adds to the sense of accomplishment. The wet weight, excluding fan leaves, stands at an impressive 782 grams. The buds are massive, a testament to the efficacy of the nutrients used, particularly the Power Buds. The name seems apt, as the result is a collection of sticky, dense buds with subtle lemon notes and sweet pungent undertones. In the final moments, the plant unveiled some delightful purple hues. While I wish I could have allowed them to intensify further, it's a reminder that each grow is a learning experience. In hindsight, a slightly longer fading period would have accentuated those beautiful colors. We live and learn, and that's the essence of this journey. Heeeey guys! 👋 Sorry for the very late update! I had so many things going on but now I can finally update the diary! This is the last week before harvest and I kept an eye on my plants pretty much all the time! When I started to notice more amber trichomes were appearing I knew that my babies were finally ready! I just wanted a small amount of CBN, so probably I reached a good balance! Besides that I believe everything was quite relaxing and simple this week. Their smell was wonderful! I also trimmed by babies almost everyday, I kept removing the most ugly leaves to allow some of the lower buds to develop a little more this final week! I stopped watering them 4 days before harvest and then I gave them one day of total darkness. I hope you all enjoy the videos and photos! Thanks!

Ahora estamos en Invierno, La primavera se acerca por estos lares a mediados de 15na de setiembre por lo que estas ultimas 5-6 ultimas semanas se espera que el sol logre engordar esos cogollos. Se esta regando con Fertilizante Pk y abono de cascara de platano. todo bien

Como era de esperar, la weddingcake duplica su tamaño en la segunda semana de floración. La skywalker sigue el mismo camino. Ambas presentando ya las primeras preflores, indicando que se avecina una excelente floración

Day 89!!!! I came back from vacation and started harvesting right away, so the girl grew really big, but I gave her too little light, and at the end of the growth I didn't remove the leaves :( because I was busy on vacation :( but basically I'm still incredibly happy, her flowers are not very firm, they have a lot of "AIR", but a lot of shiny sticky trichomes, the girl grew really well throughout her growth, next time I will definitely use LST, this growth was with very little LST, there will be an update when the harvest dries up :) good luck to everyone:).

Chopped on Day 70 (September 6th, 2020) 9/6/20: Hung her to dry after taking off most of her fan leaves. I decided to hang the whole plant this time around to see if it helps my dry quality. Will update with pictures soon. 9/12/20: Trimmed her up today after feeling that the nugs were crispy and dry. First couple days of dry we were experiencing a bit of a heat wave and high humidity levels (fluctuating from 60-75%). During the final days of drying we had rain and then it cooled off and dried out lowering my rh in the tent to around 50%. That crisped the nugs right up in 2 days and I decided it was time to pull her out and trim her up. The nugs were so incredibly sticky and smelled of chem. They are really dense despite their look especially the main cola nugs. Still smelling a bit like hay but I'm confident that the curing process will take care of that. I am curing with Boveda 58% rh packs in each jar and a hydrometer as well. Not going to test a nug until at least a week or two of curing or until I run out of Sour Crack lol. Will update with a smoke report. 9/28/20: So it's been just over 2 weeks of curing so far. When I first put the nugs in the jar, I was worried they were a bit too dry/crispy for what I was hoping for, but after 2 weeks of curing the nugs aren't as crackly sounding in my hands. I cured with Boveda 58% rh packs and mason jars as seen in the pictures. **SMOKE REPORT** 9/28/20 - 2 weeks of curing: The smell of this strain is a really unique one, or maybe the pheno that I got is. It smells fruity for sure but it has this gas smell to it that almost smells chemical but in a good way. I marked down tropical above because the combo of pungent fruit almost brings out a sweet cocktail aroma. After really thinking about it, I've never smelled weed with a scent quite like this one! The smoke was smooth in my freshly cleaned bong and I'm decently high. I feel pretty tired but I'm ready to do something like game or make music. I don't feel hungry (yet) but my throat is begging for a drink. I'm happy that I have now smoked my own home grown weed twice!

On day 15, I defoliated the girls. The girls are growing up like crazy, they have already doubled their height. Everything is going well, I'll probably have to do supercroping in the following days ...

Day 60: Using LST and FIM Lemon's canopy looks great all the sites exposed to light. Orange is getting taller.. so we'll see how it'll end up. The yellowing leaves might actually be light burn they're pretty close to the light, but the sugar leaves are a bit more protected. I might go back to 20:4 in terms of light schedule or lower the shelf. Smell wise even Lemon's non sugar leaves have a very lovely scent. I'll get back to the scent profile another day.

Day 64 - Starting week 10 and she is getting sticky and stinky. I did a pretty decent defoliation tonight, just to try and get some of the undergrowth going. The way she’s going, she might only have 2-3 weeks left but I have plenty of meds right now so I’m not in any sort of rush. I see ZERO signs of any sort of nute burns so I’m really starting to like the new nutes and so easy to mix. Day 65 - Looking great right right now and went ahead and lowered the lights a bit, they’re now about 12” above the canopy. I had 3 other grows going on but for the second time in a couple months the wife left the tent open this morning and didn’t check before she left the room and one of our cats was in there and they destroyed my 3 little ones but left this and my Sour Raspberry Kush alone so deciding what to start next. She’s good on water until the weekend sometime. Day 66 - Ended up having to give her about a gallon and a half of water tonight, she ended up drinking up what was left I guess. The lights being about 12” away seem to be doing her good and not bothering her at all. Day 68 - Man oh man, she is frosty as hell and smells really sweet. By the looks of trichs and pistils, I’m probably gonna give her two more weeks until she gets chopped. If she needs longer, I’ll give her more time but I think 2 weeks should be plenty. She drank a ton of water so she might need more either Sunday or Monday. Day 69 - She’s definitely ready for some more water but gonna hold off for another day, just to let her dry up a bit more. I’m gonna do another defoliation tomorrow as well and she should be good to go till the end. Day 70 - She was ready for water today and gave her another feeding of nutes. This will be the last one and next watering I’ll flush with the Sledgehammer and she’ll just get water until she’s done. She is so damn frosty and sweet smelling, she’s gonna be a pain in the ass to trim.

day 73 I was not ready for all this! 🤣🤣 they literally exploded, even though the buds of El Patron are much thinner than the purple queen I have in my tent, I had to tie them up so that the weight of the flowers didn't break the branches. I have to say that 6 photoperiods are too many for my 1m x 1m x 2m tent. in addition to this I have noticed that they are very hungry. like me and give me some advice. thanks for stopping by, have a nice day and happy cultivation 💚🌳💚🌳
