5-27 Day 43. flower week 3, day 2. When she wakes shell get the yummie brew tea! Growing well. Did another defoliation. Sheesh! So on one of the branches, it kinda looked like a double tip. Well it most definitely split almost like a top. My guess is from my lockout. Cal/mag made them compete. Makes for some cool pics. Even did a before and after defoliation. 5-31 Day 47 Umm maybe due for a top dress. 🤣 Drinking good and battling ph. well maybe both ph and hunger. oops anyways watered at 5.8 just a tad run off. 7.8 uggg. but what helped also is ppm was 1200 so def mad at me so she’s Hangry at me! 🤣🤣 taking leaves as needed. have a great day and don’t forget to feed your plants!!!

This week is almost the same as last week. Did some LST and Defoliation. Got rid of some stuff close to the plants so now they have more space. They started to smell so I have to buy some other plants as well like the Jasminum polyanthum, because I don't want any complaining neighbours.

My little mutt mix strain has been a very interesting, and unique grow. Huge plant tiny potter, lighter comparison pictures above. I Just started seeing a few stray amber trichromes. I will start her on just ph water in a day or two. Letting her use up what energy she has left. This was a struggle of a grow. It's a baby monster plant. I did juice her too much in flowering. We made it through, and she has some nice flowers with a fruity, and kinda earthy aroma. The next update may be a few days late, but it will be the harvest most likely. She grew great in my autoflower room under the Mars Hydro FC4800 light. I will see you soon for the chop. Welcome to the Smoking Tiki's hut! I will grow 4 autoflowering from Fast Buds in front of a South-East oriented window. One year ago, I received the seeds and conserved them into my fridge door. Now, the "FBT2304" has become the "Pound Cake Auto". I started with 8 seeds (2 for each strain). They all germinated! For each strain, I took the seed with the bigger root and put it in its final 1,5l pot. I didn't find my usual soil at the store so I took a variant of it, let's see how it goes. It's also the first time I'm adding some Mycorrhizal Inoculant (fungi) from Dynomyco. I mixed 15g of Dynomyco with the soil for each plant. The "SUN" column in the weekly report is filled based on my daily electricity production. My solar panels are oriented at 90° compared to the window but it's just to give a rough idea of the amount of light received by the plant. 0 : very cloudy day + : cloudy day ++ : sunny day +++ : very sunny day Have a nice journey through my grow diary!

Sixth Week: - Plants are doing amazing. - Continuing to tuck under the Scrog - Noticed some slow growth and debating adding some co2 due to hot weather incoming.

Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. defoliation to expose bu d sights on left side plant at 7 weeks. leaves were and are not looking super healthy, seem to be drooping which can be over water most likely but i also noticed they start to droop same way when lights are too low so raised lights 3 inches and put material under right side 2 weeks younger plant to meet hight of other one. now letting it dry out for a couple days but bottom line, must keep plants healthy and must be patient for up to 11 weeks on bud developement as it tends to be slower than most auto flowers for critical purple. you can pull a bit off when its close to done and dry it out if you are a fiend or patiently wait this out and pray for big dense buds.

Hi Growers, Day 1 of week 6, two days ago a did smooth lst (i was thinking not to do in this run but i did) like this i improve a bit the light exposure, since i dont start LST from the beggining . Since we have been seeing one of the ladys are smaller but bushy, i think they are good and healthy . Thank you. _GrF_ 👊

Week 6 2nd week of flowering: Slowly but surely, the whole thing had taken shape. And in the way I'm usually used to. "Sow love, reap happiness." Hello dear plant friends, please forgive me for my time delay in the grow diary. A lot is happening in real life for me right now and I had to get used to it. Unfortunately, one of my beloved cats died suddenly for a reason unknown to me. A long-time friend and companion. And in addition, I am very busy modernizing my grow room, expanding capacities and the current grow also requires a lot of attention, as I am passionate about new crazy training methods. All this distracts me from my grief and the loss of my dear furry friend and helps me a lot to get back on my feet mentally. Well, I don't want to keep you in suspense any longer, so here's a little preview of what will change and why.... 🤩 But that was only a short fitting and both lamps will of course come in a new generous Homebox 100 Q + I think the time has now come for me to leave the tried and tested old shell and go new exciting ways. I feel ready for the next challenges in this wonderful field of gardening. Dear people, be curious about what is to come. I can't wait to share it all with you. And now back to week 6 and last summer's Grow... Enjoy! 😊 And again my Biotabs was my secret weapon: the fermented compost tea an outstanding game maker. I usually start at the end of flowering week 2 and combine it alternately with the enchanting Bio PK - Booster from Biotabs until shortly before the end. I am firmly convinced that these two components complement each other super nicely.

Well, they haven't died, lol. J/k. These ladies are 15 days old today and are looking quite content 😁 Still have some adjustments to make but very close to being dialed in. Again this will be a relatively short run, going to veg for 3 more weeks, maybe 4 and then flip the lights. Also only going to do defoliation with these. Flower Week 3 Plants are doing great, are ready for Food, I installed a drip system, with air stones in the reservoir. Got some microscope images of the Bud sites, smell is beginning to get stronger. Very Cheesy Mid Week Update: Drip system is working well, the plants seem to have burst with growth over the last 3 days. Before when watering with the smart fabric pots, I was getting a lot of run off from the bags. The drip system makes a big difference as I had no water in the trays underneath after running a complete cycle on the drip system, which took 24 hours. Bud growth is awesome, the entire canopy is fairly even with few shaded bud sites. I wont be tucking much at this point I believe the stretch is over.
