What's up Growmies🤟🏽. Week # 8 is in the books🙌🏾 Hello week #9💪🏾 I went a little overboard on pictures this week, they are so happy and healthy that I got carried away. I know we are supposed to post pictures with the lights off, however it's something about the contrast it gives with the lights on that makes it look sexy to me😁. I have had to tie the stalks of both White LSD plants due to heavy sagging. I'm noticing with this strain the stalks seem to topple over even though the buds are far from fully developed. A trellis net probably would be ideal however I hate them. They are easy to put on but very difficult to take off come harvest. I use garden wire and string them as if they are puppets being controlled by the puppet master🤪. I continue my feeding schedule with the recommended "bloom" concoction using general hydroponics Flora series trio. I give them 1 liter every 3 days. I have them on a 2 to 2 cycle (feed them twice with nutes and then twice with plan water) I keep the p.h. around 6.1 to 6.6. Temps and humidity are in the perfect range I'm enjoying it while it last because spring and summer in VA makes it difficult to keep the humidity in check. All in all everything is going well for me and my ladies. I hope the same for all of you. Resin is increasing and looks like bud sites are ready to start putting on some bulk. Issue with low ph drift reaching 5.2 so I decreased 50ppm with distilled water without calmag to soften the water and counter the drift. After decreasing ppm, ph drift continues, so I flushed for 2 days with distilled water and added back nutrients at half strength to increase to 800 ppm over time.

Ended up pulling about 65 grams from Top Gun2, another 55 from the Top Gun1 I harvested earlier, fun grow, I was lazy with this diary as I was more excited for gorilla cookies, I’ll try to keep to one diary from now.

This week I added a new controller to handle up to 8 functions. I installed a new heater, my old humidifier and some LED strips to the controller. Targeting a VPD at 1.0 day and night. Trying to keep the nutrient ppm under 900 and ph at 6.0 in the reservoirs. Ordered a second ph pen because I don’t trust my readings. Will be here by Thursday. Friday: Checked the ppm in the reservoirs and it’s at 1,000. Added more RO water with extra nitrogen to bring the ppm level down to 925. Saturday: I installed an updated AC Infinity controller 69 Pro Plus (controls 8 pieces of equipment) which allowed me to add a humidifier, corner LEDs and a heater to the controller. Overall I’m extremely impressed with this AC Infinity equipment. My VPD is within the range I want to achieve (.8-1.1). I programmed it to maintain 78 degrees and 67% humidity during the day, 73 degrees and 63% humidity at night. Charts posted also show the impact of an open tent compared to the closed environment. The heater is constantly pushing fresh air into the tent, so I don’t need to cycle the exhaust fan often. Rewired the tent again and moved the controller later that night. I mounted the controller on the wall. Added Mars Hydro UV/IR lighting to fill out all 8 slots on the controller. Sunday: I checked the ph in the reservoirs (6.8….i had filled it with 6.0 ph) and the ppm (1200 ppm…I had filled it with 900). So evaporation and possibly a mismeasurement of ph. I topped ff reservoirs with slightly stronger nutes and adjusted ph to 5.8 in the reservoirs. Poor magnesium absorption could be driving some leaf yellowing. Effective tomorrow, I’m switching over to Heads Formula which consistently feeds GH Flora series nutes at Micro (6ml/g), Bloom (9ml/g) and cal mag (3ml/g). Turned on the UV/IR lights for 3 minutes every 8 hours. I’m easing the plants up to 5 minutes every 6 hours which will provide the recommended 20 minutes of IR per day. This will help the plants stretch a little more. Monday: checked ph and ppm in reservoirs. 6.1ph and 880ppm. VPD remains stable except when I open the tent. Tuesday: checked ph (6.4) and ppm (880) in reservoirs. Added .5ml of ph down to two reservoirs. Still see slight yellowing between the veins but it’s not getting worse (might be improving). Adjusting ph down to 6.0 target might have solved this. The plants grew by 1-2” last night…..is the infrared light working already? Decided to mix up fresh nutes for the reservoirs following Heads formula. 6ml Micro and 9ml Bloom per gallon of RO water. Added 5 ml of CalMag too. Ending ppm was 1080 which is too high, so I diluted down to 880 with RO water. 6.0 ph. Wednesday: plants grew another .75 inches last night. I topped above the 5th node. Thursday: added RO water with heavy cal mag to reservoirs to increase amount of CalMag available.

4/7 9:30AM A little PH drift, too high EC not bad. They are doing great, flowers and resin at about 80 watts almost no heat!!! 4/8 5:42 AM all the plants are looking OK. I’m gonna do some watering today so I did a watering can animated video. When wizards water 4/9 3PM Did a lot of runoff to get the ph and EC back to normal after drifting. Should be at 1.1 ish 4/10 veg and plants are doing better

Siento que me pase de electroconductividad muchas veces en la etapa de transición (reforzando con calcio soluble) y se formaron esas hojas en forma de garra y bien finitas, ahora empezaron a quedar amarillas las puntas también entonces estoy casi que descartando la teoría del golpe de calor extremo, están engordando un poco más y empiezan a tener peso, puse una cuerda más de contención, voy a dar el último riego de esta semana como en la tabla seguido de trichoderma

13/6: the light change worked incredibly well!! Switching from 75W(drawn 35W) to 1000W(drawn 120W) helped the flowers develop incredibly well in the past 7 days, now I can call them proper BUDS!!! Now, technically next week (Wednesday) is supposed to be harvest day from my original plan, but I worry that the 2-ish weeks that the plant stayed stunned may increase this period, I'll keep a close eye on the colour of the thrychomes, if they don't start turning amber this week I might push it another two. Now that humidity is correct and the flowers are growing, the plant started drinking WAY more, and now the usual 1L every two/three days just isn't enough, so I switched to 2L of PHd water at a 6.3/6.5 range every 48 hours, and I have a feeling that in the next week I may have to start water it every day as it keeps increasing its flowers. VERY excited for the next 14 days, can't believe its been almost a 4 months journey, I really want to see those buds fatten up :)

26.12.24: These are my 2 best plants P1 and P2 Purple Punch, they are looking great! Not sure what happened to P3. They are in early flower/ pre-flower with the pistils clearly seen on P2. I am also hoping to tie some of the branches down to help light penetration on the lower canopies. I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. La resina está en niveles muy altos y la planta empieza a mostrar tonos morados, señal clara de maduración avanzada. Los tricomas se mantienen mayoritariamente lechosos con cada vez más ámbar, indicando una ventana de corte ya abierta. El aroma se intensifica y la planta consume sus últimas reservas, marcando el cierre del ciclo. Cultivo estable y bien afinado, entrando en la recta final. Seguimos creciendo fuerte 💪!

The soil is mostly coco and perlite, so it can dry out quicker. There are plenty of worm castings, too, so that definitely helps. Day 71: Hope everything's going well for you. Unfortunately, it's still way too hot here. The outside temperature is 29°C, so it's pretty similar inside the tent. I do have a portable air conditioner, but it would have to run constantly, and that's too expensive for me. That's why I’ve increased the humidity a bit. Otherwise, they look healthy and the buds are getting bigger. I removed two leaves from the Tropical Marker that seemed a bit burned — at least that's what I suspect. Day 74: Today, like every two days, the ladies were watered again with 2 liters of water mixed with fertilizer and Cal-Mag. The girls are looking beautiful. The Tropical Marker is very frosty, but the Purple Kush is also getting frostier. Today, I wedged a board with a hole for the exhaust fan into my window. I hope the room will get a bit cooler now. Additionally, I temporarily hung the lamp’s power supply outside the tent. Day 75: Today, for once, I didn't do anything. Thanks to the new exhaust outlet, the temperature in the tent is actually 5 degrees Celsius lower. The VPD is now back at 1.6. Yesterday, I lowered the exhaust from 80% to 50% to better maintain the 60% humidity, which is working well now. The buds continue to grow, the girls look beautiful, and the smell is getting stronger. Day 76: Today the ladies got 2 liters of water again, this time without any fertilizer. The buds are getting bigger and the girls are looking wonderful. Other than that, I had a little chat with them and then left them in peace again.
