Aug 9: Lemon Cream Kush is doing fine and is starting to stretch a bit. I’m surprised how much it grew last week. Got the UV led lights from AC Infinity going. The sunlight gets weak here quickly starting in mid-August and the UV helps form trichomes. Used it last year and it seems to help. Nice weather days only as these lights are not intended for outdoor use. Aug 14: rainy last few days. Noticeably stretched last night. Had UV lights going in afternoon after a few days of not using them.

Space finally opened up, so the Haze plants are officially in their long-term homes: 3-gallon pots with a coco and perlite mix. Haze 2 looked great initially but hit a brief patch of transplant shock. Thankfully, she has fully bounced back. Interestingly, she threw out double branches from the first node, but her growth returned to normal branching by the third. Haze 1, on the other hand, is much bushier and is already showing female pre-flowers. I’ve taken clones and flipped the tent to flower. The plants are currently sitting at 16 inches from the substrate line in a 2x4x6 tent. Given the legendary Haze stretch, I fully expect to have to relocate them before flower is over. Environmentally, I’m running a 4” exhaust but have a 6” on standby in case temps spike. Right now, with the lights only pushing 55% to hit around 800 PAR, heat is completely manageable. I also set up a timelapse with my Wyze cam, which I’ll share in the next update if it works out.

Last week I realized that topping off the rez with full strength nutrient water had upped my ppms to 2000, and Ph to almost 7 I mixed a fresh batch of 10ml and saw ppms in the 1700 range, so I watered it down to 1200, 8 ml/gal is just an estimate this week unfortunately. I added 2.5 ml/gal big bud day 1 week 3 afternoon, Ppms should coming in at 1300 I finally got an accurate height measurement, and given the plant distance decided to turn the light power down to 60%, which should be around 120-130 watts, which is plenty for a 2x2 Did a water change week 3 day 1, used a transfer pump and it was fairly easy, just took a while More pistils are starting to show up now I've decided to start measuring ppm/ph as both creeped up too high last week. I cant vouch for how well ph perfect nutes work when changed weekly as directed, but they cant go 2 weeks without being measured and adjusted, and at full strength, Im sure they would burn plants. Day 2: ppms held steady at 1350 overnight, ph is at 5.8-5.9 New growth was showing very early signs of light burn, (pale leaf tips up top, tips not pointing down) so I turned light to 50% power, mounted it straight to my top tent supports, and bent the tops that showed signs of stress. Day 3: Ppm's still holding steady as water level goes down, so this may be the sweet spot for now. Bud sites are stacking now Selectively defoliated to get light deeper into the canopy

Total dry weight is 215g: despite the growing hiccups this strain managed to deliver. Buds themselves have a fair amount of resin too :)

We are in week 5 and all the ladies are doing well. I try to keep the EC between 2.5 and 3.0 and it seems the PPFD of around 450 mol makes them feel well 🌱 I’ll start with some LST soon. 🧙‍♂️🌱

Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to proudly present to you my diary in which, for the next winter time outside the window, I begin a magical adventure with the famous gorillas in a rather exotic climate - and here I want to point out that the seeds were a gift from RQS. Once again I want to thank for the grinder that I use every day, the Vertafort fertilizer which will land in the soil, the posters that decorate the walls in my room (you chose my favorite varieties btw) and the 10 seeds of the Royal Haze which will surely be in the next project. So today I feel like I'm in a position to share with an adventure that starts here and now. I feel obliged to post new updates every day. Please also comment and give advice by colleagues in the field. Here is a list of things I will use: Soil: Biobizz ALL-MIX Fertilizers: All Biobizz Bio-Grow Bio-bloom Bio-heaven Top-Max Leaf-Coat Acti-Vera ALG-A-MIC Veg setup: Growbox 70x45x150 MH 150W GIB Lighting GROWTH SPECTRUM Advanced Humidifier 5L AERI Advanced Star 13W Fan Carbon filter ORIGINAL 75 - 100 M3 per H Axial Flo Fan 100 Peat pots: 7x 10X8cm and 3x 11X10cm And much much love Flo setup: Growbox Secret Jardin 120x120x185 Dark Street LED 2x200W ADVANCED STAR DUAL HPS 150W GIB Lighting FLOWER SPECTRUM Pro Secret Jardin Monkey Fan 20 Secret Jardin Monkey Fan 30 Fan PK125 MES 420m Coal Filter Prima Klima ECO 360 - 480 m3 I will soon describe more details. Purple Haze Auto by Zamnesia 💜🌱 Week 1 Vegetation | Quiet Confidence Hello GrowDiaries family! 👋🌱 Welcome back to another week in the garden. Today we’re taking a closer look at Purple Haze Auto – Pheno B, the second representative of this legendary cultivar and a plant that, from the very beginning, seemed determined to remind me how much variation can exist even between sisters sharing exactly the same environment. As always, the goal remains unchanged: To document every stage honestly, share observations as they happen, and follow each phenotype individually from seed to harvest. And while her sister showed a little more quirkiness during her first days above ground, Pheno B decided to take a slightly different approach. She simply focused on growing. ⸻ The Same Foundation Just like every plant in this project, Purple Haze B was transplanted directly into her final 15-liter container filled with Plagron Lightmix. The entire run follows a 12/12-from-seed methodology, so minimizing root disturbance remains one of the priorities from the very beginning. Rather than moving through multiple container sizes, each plant receives its final home immediately, allowing roots to establish naturally and continuously throughout the cycle. The objective is simple: Less interruption. More momentum. And during this first week, she appeared to settle in extremely well. ⸻ Environment Environmental conditions remained stable throughout the week. 🌡️ Day Temperature: 27°C 🌙 Night Temperature: 25°C 💧 Humidity: 55% 🌱 Root Zone Temperature: 21°C ☁️ CO₂: Approximately 600 ppm Lighting was provided by the Future Of Grow Black Series LED system delivering approximately 350 PPFD under a 12/12 light schedule. Because the plants receive only twelve hours of light per day, total Daily Light Integral remains lower than what would normally be delivered under an 18/6 schedule, allowing seedlings to adapt comfortably to stronger light levels without excessive daily exposure. Judging by her posture throughout the week, Purple Haze B seemed perfectly comfortable under those conditions. ⸻ Nutrition The first irrigation consisted only of water, allowing the seedling to establish itself naturally within the substrate. After several days, a gentle feeding schedule was introduced using: • Plagron Terra Grow • Plagron Power Roots • Plagron Pure Zym • Plagron Sugar Royal All applied at light concentrations appropriate for young seedlings. At this stage the objective remains root development, healthy establishment, and steady progression rather than aggressive growth. Strong foundations first. Rapid growth comes later. ⸻ First Week Observations Purple Haze B had a very smooth first week. From the earliest photographs she displayed healthy color, balanced growth, and a structure that became increasingly symmetrical as the days progressed. What immediately stands out when comparing her to her sister is how uniform her development appears. The leaves expanded evenly. The internodes remained compact. Growth stayed centered. And every new set of leaves emerged looking increasingly organized and well-defined. By the end of the week she had already developed beautiful three-finger leaves and displayed the classic seedling architecture growers love to see during early vegetative growth. One of the things I enjoy most about documenting separate phenotypes is noticing these small differences. Both sisters are healthy. Both are vigorous. Yet each one already expresses that vigor in its own way. Pheno A carried a little more youthful unpredictability before finding her rhythm. Pheno B simply arrived looking composed from the start. Neither is better. Just different. And that’s exactly what makes phenotype hunting so enjoyable. ⸻ Looking Ahead Week one was all about establishment, and Purple Haze B handled it beautifully. Roots are expanding. The plant is adapting to her final container. Nutrition has begun. Growth is accelerating. And the foundation for the weeks ahead is now firmly in place. While it’s still far too early to predict what characteristics she may express later in life, her first week suggests a healthy, balanced, and very promising plant. Sometimes the loudest plants are not the ones that impress the most. Sometimes it’s the quiet confidence of steady, consistent growth. And that’s exactly what Purple Haze B delivered this week. Huge thanks to Zamnesia Seeds for the genetics, Plagron for the substrate and nutrition, Future Of Grow for the lighting, and everyone following along on another seed-to-harvest adventure. Grower’s Love everyone. 🌱💚💜
