So I'm back after a long break. Due to all craziness going on and actually have time to do this diary. I accidentally topped my autoflower. So I thought it would be good idea to conduct a little experiment, to see how an auto will react to me trimming and over perenting throughout its growth.
Normally I only do lst for autos but I accidentally topped her. I was having a look and it just snapped off. Hope it doesn't stunt her growth too much. Time to experiment.
Still trying to train her to spread outward rather than grow up. In think she has about one more week before she will start to stretch. Hopefully i can get her wide enough befor then.
Day 25 - starting to see her stretch. It's now too hard to train the main stems
Still keeping an eye on her most of the training is done just waiting to see what happens with the stretch.
Day 30. I accidentally had the lights dimmed to 20% for the last west week or so so we'll see what affect that has on the yeild.
It could reduce the stretch and so reduce the final height and as a result the final weight. At this point she haven’t lost that much as she’s still growing like a plant in veg.
Not much do do this week. Training is mostly done. Don't really have anything to trim as was doing it as I went along. Just need to keep an eye on her. She's starting to flower but it looks like dimming the light affected the stretch.
Day 37 - some mild defoliation
Day 39 - looks like she's done with her stretch but hopefully she'll grow a bit more.
Added some dry amendments to get her through the rest of flower. She was starting to show that she had too much nitrogen so I've been giving her water for the last few days. Hopefully the dry amendments should be enough and I just need to add water from here.
Day 44 moved the lights to about 14 inches away.
Day 46 noticed some damage on one of the leaves pulled the lights up a couple of inches and added call mag to the next watering.
Not much more to do for the rest of the grow. All I need to do at the moment is water and defoliate. Not sure if she needs more calmag but will keep on et
Just watering and keeping any eye out for any deficiencies. Looks like she's fully recovered from the lack of cal-mag and she's really starting to fatten up.
She now has a beautiful smell of mango yoghurt. Her trichromes are starting to get cloudy. Hopefully she only has one of 2 more weeks left. Just need to water and keep an eye on her. Dry amendments seem to be doing pretty well so far.
She has been one of the easiest grows I've had. She responded really well to training. Had no real pest problems other than a few gnats in the beginning and only a minor deficiency issue during her growth. I had quite a lot of time to manage her over the last couple of months. So she ended up pretty we'll trained. She had few main colas that were relatively well spread out. This gave her fewer buds but they are dense, sticky and aromatic. In the end I only had 10 grams of fluff on top of all the sugar leaves.
👍Nice plant, looks super healthy and loads of cola's, I just defoliated my plants as there all cramed in a small space and the humidity was getting over 85% in the canopy, 5 days later and you can hardly tell it was done!
Awesome job I can't wait to see how she turns out
@LittleBigTrees, Thanks I was a little bit worried for a second when I forgot about the calmag. It looks like she's recovered though. I really should defoliate too. She's getting a bit cramped in the middle.
