Veg day 36.- Happy girls seeing the sun for the first time. Additional soil mix is same as before. BX promix and perlite 2:1. Additional volcanic ash and worm castings. First watering was generic AB 1/4 strength, Rhizotomic and Mammoth P microbes. PH adjusted to 6.3 300ppm. Veg day 42 - after a week of wind and weather for the first time both seem to be acclimatizing well enough. A squirrel seems to like digging. Any suggestions for critter deterent?

Hey yall! Another week down. A lot has happened. To start, we up-potted from the red solos into my living soil blend that I have been working on for almost a year. It's so full on living creatures and beneficials. I used to have fungus gnats a lot when working with living soil, it's almost impossible to avoid. .. Then enters beneficials; we have black soldier Flys, persimillis predatory mites, definitely earth worms, most likely a mix of night crawlers. No more fungus gnats, I highly recommend using beneficial nematodes, cucumeris and persimillis predatory mites are excellent (swirski predatory mites are expensive). Just look at the Soil Food Web and identify what pest you have, then purchase their predators from a trusted insectary. Anyways I added another 200watt LED and spread out the plants in a 2' X 4' tent. It's extremely dry in my location and having the heat on makes the air even drier. So getting my VPD stable has been an immense challenge. Right now Also we need to be able to add VPD or at least GD needs a built in calculator to help folks with VPD, Vapor Pressure Deficite. As of right now I am sitting at 0.85 VPD, so pretty good for today. I have 4 humidifiers and have had to hang moistened towels on the doors of the room I am growing in. It literally has been a huge challenge to keep the humidity high enough for my VPD to be in range for the young plants I have now. Good thing is my current humidity without running any humidifiers is perfect for the flowering stage, so I can't wait to move this along. As for topping and training; like I said I really want to move these ladies into flowering sooner than later. I have several reasons to do limited training so I can limit my veg time, also getting this crop done as fast as possible is best for my set up. Until I can get a larger house 🏠 😩 because we got a baby on the way 👶 so need to make space. I have made compost tea twice this past week, wetting the soil and also spraying the leaves. My sprayer broke so I ended up pouring the tea on the plants gently, I got worm castings on the leaves lol. Gently rubbing that off once they dried. Also I applied the tea at night. My tea recipe: Reverse Osmosis water, 2 to 4 gallons I bubble that with added minerals for a day Add 2-3 cups of Activated worm castings (To activate the castings I added about 3 gallons of high quality castings with what I consider to be nutrient amendments, SO I add = kelp meal, neem cake, organic coconut flour, organic corn meal, organic wheat flour, and organic cold milled flax seeds and let that sit for a week then add about 2 to 3 cups of that mix to the tea) I also add biology from about a cup of 2 different soil mixes I have around my compost bin, just trying to get a more diverse biology by adding those two different soil sources. And mind you the grow beds I took the soil from has been organic for many years and has a large amount of beneficials and tons of excellent biology. Other than that I bubble that for 12 to 24 hours, with as much air as I can get. I use air stones but you really need to clean them off once you are done brewing. I also have an Air Lift with a large air pump that really works great, K.I.S. Organics sells one that works great or you can build one easily with with PVC pipe and a few adapters from any Home Depot or Lowes. Also I do add DynoMyco to my roots when up-potting. They are an amazing brand that has backed up research, I think they have more propagules per gram of two strains they identified to work great with cannabis. Now having said that, each individual phenotype out of each individual and specific strain/cultivar is going to have different bacteria/fungal strains that it prefers and by growing the same strain, hopefully the same exact cut, and grow 3 to 4 cycles before you truly have the mycelium networks built and fully functional. What I am saying is stop throwing out "used" soil and go over 7 gallons, bigger the better for biodiversity. Stop buying "new" soil, amend your previous beds and pots. You will see a huge difference. Hopefully I can show you all of this with my Grow. Anyways please feel free to ask away any questions! This grow is about saving money 💰 🤑 and growing the best clean medicine as possible.

Week 12 Day 1 humidity has climbed a little higher than I would like due to a big storm we had 2 days ago but will come down over the next few days. The flowering seems to be coming along nicely, no signs of any mishaps yet. Week 12 Day 3 the trichomes are really starting to present themselves already. Only issue I’m dealing with currently is high humidity in the tent (68%) due to the very rainy weather we’ve had over the past few weeks Week 12 Day 7 and the frost continues to come in. Looking very healthy and ready to continue her journey through flower

Been another smooth week. A few of the plants are starting to show signs that they are moving towards to finish line. Seeing some swelling, pistils starting to brown, and some beautiful purples coming out in some of the buds. Been debating on giving them a dose of dry koolbloom, but I will probably just keep them running on the maxibloom until flush since they look pretty happy. This slurricane is busting with sweet fruity aromas. Not going to be the best yield but I'm sure she will pack a nice punch.

~ GG4 SHERBET FAST FLOWER by FastBuds ~ Well fam, here we go again with another epic strain from FastBuds Fast Flowering stable. After having such tremendous success growing their Gorilla Cookies Fast Flower outdoors last year, I've decided to run another of their fast flowering strains outdoors this year... GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower! The best description of this awesome cultivar comes directly from my friends at FastBuds which is as follows: "Bred from extremely potent and flavorful Gorilla Glue and Orange Sherbet genetics, GG4 Sherbet FF (Fast-Flowering) takes all the best traits to the next level, offering a high-yielding strain that can produce up to 600 g/m2 in a 7-week flowering time. This super resilient Indica-leaning hybrid thrives indoors and outdoors, and in all types of climates while producing mouth-watering sweet, fruity, spicy and earthy terps that translate into a delicious sugary hazelnut aroma. Expect an extremely relaxing and overall happy effect that’ll leave you with a huge smile from ear to ear. It’s the perfect strain for growers of all levels of experience seeking low-maintenance yet highly productive photoperiod varieties that deliver quality and quantity without extra effort. GG4 Sherbet FF grows chunky buds with long dark orange hairs and spade-shaped calyxes that get encrusted with trichomes by harvest time, giving them a gorgeous silvery-white appearance. This medium-sized photoperiod can reach up to 200 cm in height and yields up to 650 g/m2 while developing that typical hybrid structure. GG4 Sherbet FF grows with a stocky, bushy appearance, developing one sturdy main cola and fat side branches that support huge yields without much effort. This super-fast variety produces distinctive light-green buds with a high bud-to-leaf ratio, making your trimming sessions a breeze. It’s a top-notch resin producer that doesn’t need much maintenance and will thrive in almost every climate, rewarding growers of all levels with extremely flavorful resin that makes for outstanding hash end extracts." ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower indoors as our weather is still too cold to put her outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 30's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures stay above the mid 40's℉, at which point she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes, and then let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 8/10- Wow! Here we go into Week 4 of flower for the GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower by FastBuds and this lady is on a mission! The GG4 Sherbet FF has large cola's forming all over her and they are rapidly stacking up. Her flowers are continuing to develop and are beginning to get a thick layer of trichomes on them! 8/12- Today, the daily watering routine continues at sunset with around 5g of well water from the hose. I also went into the canopy and removed a bunch of dead and/or completely yellowed leaves to keep the foliage clear of debris which can cause insect and fungal issues if allowed to get out of hand. 8/14- I am continuing to water the FastBuds GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower daily with 5-8 gallons of well water from the garden hose. Yesterday, I top dressed the FastBuds GG4 Sherbet FF with 3 cups of Gaia Green 2-8-4 Power Bloom which I watered in with well water from the hose. I then applied 1/2 gallon of a nutrient mix I made up in 2 1/2g of well water consisting of: 1/4 cup Neptune's Harvest Seaweed(kelp) plant food and 2 1/2 tsp. of Plantonics Amino Bliss. 8/16- We have rain in the forecast over the next three days. There were a couple of passing light rain showers today which didn't provide a lot of rain so I went ahead and watered the GG4 Sherbet FF with approximately 5g of well water just to make sure that she didn't get thirsty. There's a month in flower for this beautiful fast flowering cultivar from the experts at FastBuds and all I can say is WOW! I can't say enough positive things about this strain and will, for sure, be running it again! See you next week!😎✌️ Thank you for checking out my diary, your positive comments and support make it all worthwhile! 💚Growers Love!💚😎🙏

Dutch Passion Seeds Critical Orange Punch Auto Day 31 from Germination 10th March 2020 She's really put on some leaf and branch growth over this past week and is still not quite at the flowering stage yet. But I feel she will be throwing out pistils and starting to stretch by next weeks update, well I hope so anyway 😄 Still giving her light supplemental feeds of Professors Nutrients Grow fast and Seaweed solution, both of which seem to be keeping her healthy and vigorous. Yesterday and Today I have had her out of the tent and out under the natural sunshine and Fresh air. I will continue to do it each day as long as the weather stays fine as I think the use of LEDs and Sunshine each day certainly coudn't hurt . Checked soil temp and Ph this morning it was 22c and 6.5 so everythings on point and no issues i can see Thats about it for the C.O.P Auto update for this week Thanks for stopping by 👍

Well I'm a bit upset last week I ended up dropping my ph meter in a tank of nutes I was mixing and by the time I got it out the meter was junk. I was planning on flushing the crystal but had to wait another week for the meter. I suppose the good thing to take from this was I found out why I was having issues with my plants. When the new ph meter came in I went to check my run off and my nutes that I had all ready mixed up. It turns out that my meter i had been using this whole grow was off by about -2-2.5 so this whole time I had been feeding the plants at around 3ph smfh. I cant believe they look how they do knowing what went on this whole time. Fastbuds crystal meth is 3days into flush and i will be cutting it down this weekend most likely. Mephisto hubbabubbasmelloscope is smelling like sweet sweet candy and is thick in resin Bighead seeds freeze berry/ blueberry crumble has a dank pungent stank to it and also is frosty but larrfy Big bomb is still growing thick and have bud sites everywhere Now I'm ready for the next batch and ready to get dialed in!

🗓️ Week 7 – Flower Week 3 (MAC n Cheese only) This week called for a slight adjustment in the feeding plan: I had ramped up to ~75 % of the Advanced Nutrients schedule, but the very tips of the leaves started showing mild signs of burn. To stay on the safe side, I’ve dialed it back a bit. 🌱 🌿 MAC n Cheese has been lollipopped along with the others – now all the plant’s energy can focus on developing the top sites. 📏 Post-stretch height: 102 cm Stretch seems to be complete, and this girl definitely reached for the sky. The tent is officially maxed out – lights are at their highest position now, with very little room to spare. 😅
