Grow Diaries Report: Flower Week 1 – Stretch Madness & Heavy Grooming 🌿🚀 Week 9 – Flower Week 1 Update The flowering phase has officially kicked off, and wow, this plant is on a mission to touch the sky! The stretch this week has been intense, with the plant shooting up significantly. To manage her vigor and focus her energy on bud production, I’ve had to step in with defoliation and additional lollipopping. This Week’s Highlights Massive Stretch: The plant stretched dramatically this week, filling up the vertical space in the tent. Defoliation: I removed a significant amount of fan leaves to improve light penetration to the lower branches. Lollipopping Redux: Further cleaned up the lower parts of the plant, focusing her resources on the top colas. What I Did Lollipopping: Removed more of the lower branches and leaves that were unlikely to contribute to bud production. Defoliation: Took off some large fan leaves to improve airflow and light exposure throughout the canopy. Nutrients: Continued with the bloom feeding schedule, ensuring a balance of phosphorus and potassium for flower development. Environment Management: Adjusted the light height to prevent light burn and tweaked the fan placement to improve airflow in the now more open canopy. Observations The plant’s stretch has been both impressive and challenging, but the defoliation and lollipopping seem to be working. The top canopy looks well-lit and primed for flower development. No signs of stress from the grooming, which is always a relief during such an aggressive stretch. Challenges The rapid vertical growth is pushing the limits of the grow tent. I’ll need to monitor her closely to prevent overcrowding or light burn. Next Steps Keep monitoring the stretch over the next week—potential supercropping if necessary to control height. Switching nutrients to "Mid Bloom" ratios as of Sunday (I've been starting and ending my weeks on Thursday, so this is like a half week of early, half week of mid).

Day 49-56 (June 18th - 25th) (Day 51) Slurricanes and tuna are doing excellent despite their hail damaged leaves. I’m seeing good growth and decent dry downs. One of them looks like it’s been ravaged by pests but I still can’t find any evidence or signs of a pest. I’m suspecting caterpillars so I’m going to grab some BTK killer and also some all purpose insecticide sometime this week if I have time. The clones are all really lagging so they won’t be flipped until July 15th at least. I’m still not seeing normal growth on any of them yet. It’s still quite gnarled and twisted. (Day 52) The slurricane and tuna roots are starting to poke through the bottom of my pots. This is usually from underwatering, a thick soil or a hot root zone. I’m going to give everything except for the autos a good watering with some runoff. I am going to start incorporating 5mm sand into all of my soil mixes to help make the soil more loamy and give it some better drainage. I will also top dress every container and bed plant I have. (Day 53) I was at a local department store today and I was shocked to see pallets of Destiny dark matter soil selling for 60% off! I bought 10 bags for a hundred bucks. At any hydro store that would have costed me 250 at least. I might go grab more because it looks like no one is buying it for 60% off even. (Day 54) I’m going to be harvesting both of my indoor crops today and tomorrow or the next day I am going to be reusing the soil-coco blend for the slurricanes. I’m first going to till it, add a gallon of sea compost, a gallon of Destiny soil and a few cups of 5mm sand per container. I will use the excess for 5 gal pots. I will be amending with: 5 tablespoons of nature’s pride bloom 4 tablespoons of kelp meal 2 tablespoons of Gaia green AP 2 tablespoons of glacial rock dust 2 tablespoons of oyster shell flour 2 tablespoons of alfalfa meal 1 tablespoon of rock dust blend 1/4 teaspoon of langbeinite (Day 56) The autos are really making a comeback now. I was under the impression that I was working against the clock and they would start flowering after 3-5 weeks. I guess if they’re stunted from the cold they will delay flowering. I don’t see any pistils or signs of flowering yet so I don’t think they’ve officially started flowering yet I didn’t get a chance to do my transplant this week or pest control. I will get to it ASAP because my photos are drinking almost a liter a day

So I have decided too pot up the 3 toronjaz girls into bigger pots, 1 because the older girl needed it but 2 also because I feel they needed space and a new home too stretch their roots out 🌱 The above blend will hopefully help these girls soldier through these first crucial weeks, let's keep our fingers crossed 🤞 I'll be doing light lst over the next week for the older girl, maybe top her end of week 3 maybe 4 depending on how she grows 🌱 Light feeds slow and steady will do as new too aptus buy I hope I can do well with them as they seem really simple too use and also their website has lots of usefull info incase I'm in need 🙏👏👊 These will be tidied up and given this space too their selves once my fastbuds testers in the back there are ready for new pots and their new space I have waiting 🌱

GMOs are still packing more on. Getting real thick. Its day 73 today. Gonna give it a few more days. I also forgot to add that i been using blackstrap molasses the last 3 weeks. 1 tablespoon per gallon in 2 of the 3 gallons. So my schedule for the 3 GMOs worked like this. All mixed in 3 gallons Day 1: 6ml of Fish Shit, PH 6.5 Day 2: None Day 3: 6 ml of Fish Shit. 1.8 ml of Mammoth P, PH 6.5 Day 4: None Day 5: 6 ml Fish Shit, 2 tablespoons Molasses, PH 6.5 Day 6:None REPEAT
